Die Sache mit dem Gewicht der Rolle, die immer wieder kolportiert wird, ist physikalischer und anatomischer Unsinn: Das Handgelenk blockiert bei einem ausgestreckten Arm ein Abknicken nach unten, sodass ich muskulär überhaupt nicht gegen das Gewicht der langen Rute arbeiten muss und die Spitze auch nicht nach unten sinken kann. Gleichzeitig muss aber die Schultermuskulutur das Gewicht des gesamten Setups hochhalten, durch den ausgestreckten Arm wird der Hebel sogar noch besonders groß, sodass sich jedes zusätzliche Gewicht besonders stark auswirkt. Jeder der mit dieser Technik fischt weiss, dass als erstes die Schultermuskulatur müde wird und zu schmerzen anfängt. Das liegt eben am großen Hebel des ausgestreckten Arms. Dementsprechen muss das Ziel sein, insgesamt so leicht wie eben möglich zu fischen, eine besonders schwere Rolle ist daher m.E. ein Nachteil. Wenn man sich mal die Kräftevektoren an die Skelett-Anatomie des ausgestreckten Arms zeichnet, wird das mehr als deutlich.
