There’s dozens of stock bottom end h22 swaps in the 10s NA. One in particular is a 10.1 at 130 plus mph. My regular H2b swap civic full interior with shitty bolt ons and a messed up 2nd gear synchro ran 12.8.
@@dnegel9546 if you’re going to build or use an h22 motor I would suggest running a b series tranny for the shorter gear racing synchros. H22 trans has super long gears that aren’t ideal for racing. The motor itself is a monster just needs to find a better transmission to transmit the power.
Depends on what you consider slow. If you consider a bolt on coyote on e85 slow than. Yeah by all means hondas are definitely slow. My buddies basics k24/k20 run of the mill setup walks FBO tuned coyotes ,scat packs etc a... I can buy a H2b crx for 3500 right now easy and put it on a e85 tune with a 150 shot and tune 10.5s all day and deep 11s NA for under 5k easy.
@@TheBb6prelude To me anything over 14 seconds in the 1/4 is slow. 13-14 is decently quick. Then anything under 13 seconds I would consider a fast car. Then obviously anything under 12 any so on I’d consider really fast. I’ve had plenty of Honda’s, they’re fun and all that but just too slow. I now have a fbo wrx and 2020 Mustang GT. I just think hondas are cool and all when your younger and broke but once you get older and make good money then there’s much better choices for a platform out there.
@@ZFA1738 I get what you’re saying. I’m going to get either a c6 C or a LS3 c6 but I’ll never sell my cam’d and gutted 94 prelude. I don’t care how much money I make I’ll never sell my lude and I’m sure I’ll buy more Hondas too.
@@TheBb6prelude yeah I do love Honda’s I’m not trying to hate I just think for a platform I’d get something that’s already quick stock and just build for there. I’ve owned a 5th gen prelude, many Acura integra’s, 2 type s rsx’s and even some si’s. But out of all the cars I’ve owned I love my s550 gt the most and my wrx is a close number 2.
About exactly what I expected. Liked the star power music 🤣
That moment when VTEC kicks in and you still see tail-lights 😂😂.
To be fair that result was expect. Props to the civic owner to running.
That's gotta be a good feeling when you do a motor swap to run mid 14s lol

@@TheBb6prelude so what's wrong with the H22 in this vid?
I always wanted to build a H22 but not sure what's going on here
@@dnegel9546 In the video it's a H22 with a H22 transmission. H2B is a H22 with a B16 transmission (usually 4.2 Final Drive).
@@TurnTheStoveOnBlaze so whats the ideal H22 setup?

Quick lol run with some cool ppl on a not so cool night
Imagine if g8 gxps got the LSA out the factory
Atleast the Honda sounded healthy lol
😂😂 this was good
Great demonstration of what torque and a power band is lol.
That H slow asf
Damn that’s all bad lol Honda’s are too slow. Unless you got a k series with boost.
