- This is a live performance that was recorded at Threadgills and aired on the Austin Music Network. 8 1/2 Souvenirs is a swing/jazz revival band that was founded in 1994 by french-born guitarist and singer Olivier Giraud. At the time of this recording, 8 1/2 Souvenirs consisted of Olivier Giraud, Chrysta Bell, Rob Kidd, Justin Sherburn, and Kevin Smith. This performance features "1000 Years", "Souvonica", "L'Amour Toujours", "My Baby", and "Dancin". "Sonvonica" was released on 8 1/2 Souvenirs' 1997 Album, Souvonica, under Continental Records. "My Baby" and "Dancin'" were released on 8 1/2 Souvenirs' 1999 album, Twisted Desires, under RCA Victor. The song titled "1000 Years" is not featured in their discography.

I did sound for them at a show on the Twisted Desires tour. They sounded crazy good, and were a real pleasure to mix.
8 1/2 Souvenirs were never better than when Chrysta Bell was on vocals.
And she was never better than when she fronted 8 1/2 Souvenirs.
They were truly a match made in heaven.
