Cuirass gives massive DR after you land your super, so he can more comfortably dance around the boss, forcing her to spawn lightning on the platforms while he retreats to the center of the arena to get his health and super back with melee kills. Note how he also took out all the ranged copies to avoid chip damage that would stun his health regen.
The buff to cuirass of falling star gives bonus super energy with (powered?) melee kills stacking hands on mods im assuming to increase that effect. Hes killing the boss's copies with consecration

It is important which tonic you drink, he used a tonic of Weakening Void, it was a Legendary or Rare Tonic since the Uncommon doesn't boost the right perk. Weakening Void boosts the artifact perk Concussive Reload, the boost makes it so that when you damage something with a GL, it reloads all stowed weapons, that's why you almost never see him reload Anarchy.
