Thanks Mike, of course the 3-09.3 is the bible so to speak, it is based off my experience which is no measure of the end all be all. Just love spreading the word mostly so simmers can immerse themselves in it as required!
First of all, I really appreciate for all of the information you gave us and looking forward for next videos hopefully.I have one question, I know that if AC has TGP, pilot says SPOT when he/she acquired laser energy and find the target, so my question is JTAC/FAC(A) turn-off laser after the SPOT call and then turn it on again when pilot calls 10 sec ?
Hey, sorry about the delay. If your scenario is a laser mark ( Pilot calls spot, capture, terminate). Yes, the JTAC stops the laser until the pilot calls (10 seconds, laser on.) (JTAC: "Lasing, 1688). If the weapon needs to be lased in. However, if the pilot calls "spot" its because he can see the tgt and should be able to lase the weapon in themselves (Not all the time, but MOST of the time.) Hope that helps. Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks for the feedback. Are you confused about what digits the prf code should be? Or when to fire the laser? Some weapons are preset to see a certain laser. I.e. 1688. Others can be changed in cockpit. Lasers should be fired 10 seconds before impact. In some cases if the laser is fired too early it is possible the weapon will loose its energy because the canards will be making corrections to target. This will make the weapon drop short of the target. For any further questions feel free to join the discussion on our discord! discord.gg/zeW8xsT4
No stupid questions. Join the discord for more details. The ingress on “final attack heading” can be inside a 5 degree cone if you really need it on a ground based laser. Short answer, no. The 60 degree mark is just the maximum degree off the laser to target line that is allowable. If the weapon flies outside the cone there is a possibility that the weapon will fly to your position
Great explanation. Sounds like its right out of JP 3-09. Keep up the great work.

Love your vids, by the way.
Thanks!
Thank you for your educational video.
I am confused one.
When should JTAC or JFO set the prf code?
Thanks for the feedback.

I'm new to this whole JTAC 9 line thing but does the ingress always have the be in the 45? what is the 60 mark for? Sorry if it's a stupid question.
