    Yep that happened to me with my tumbler wraps. Advice place your logo over the mock-ups in the listings. They are usually so lazy they take your listing images and use your listing copy.

    Hi Bailey, great video(s)! My friend has her own copyrighted brand of kids characters/books/toys etc., that she has sold offline starting over 20 years ago. However, her sales have been nil for a long time now. I came across the POD business model on YT, and was wondering if it would work for a specific brand, with specific characters (26 to be exact). We were thinking about selling the characters on different children's products (PJ's, bibs, drinking glasses etc.). Do you think this model would work, and how would you recommend us getting started? Thank you in advance. :)

    I struggle to make my digital tumbler design seamless when upscale it then add it to canva or kittle when stretched slightly not seamless. does it need to be seamless. best ratio on midjourney

    Bailey, something you said in this video I would like to ask you to elaborate on. You said that when you, first started, so even when you very first started on Etsy you did not put up a bunch (several hundred listings) and wait for the Etsy algorythyms to get your stuff found. You mentioned creating your 'own outside audience' which I'm assuming means you marketed 'somewhere' and drove your own traffic to your store. I believe THAT is the REAL key behind the stores that have HUGE success quickly. The ornament store Keptsake only has a couple hundred listings and apparently the number one ornament shop on Etsy. They could NOT have gotten that kind of success without outside marketing. This is the thing no one is REALLY talking about or REALLY teaching about in my opinion. Where are you marketing? How much are you spending per month? Where does someone just starting out who wants that immediate success learn to market the correct way to get these kinds of results? Some people 'teach' it's about creating a 1000 listings to get success quickly but Keptsake only has 200 listings. What gives?

      Not sure if this is your first video of mine that you've seen on the channel, or maybe you missed one of the others. But I have several other videos where I talk about what I did to grow my email list and FB group well after I saw success in March of last year and how I would have probably been further ahead had I started from the beginning. I also go into daily adapted as well. Feel free to respond if you need the links to the specific videos!

      Thank you for responding. Yes, please send me every video about this. My husband was hurt in an accident last year and we are surviving on his disability. I started a clip art store and have 275 listing so far. I am desperate to replace his income and need help in the exact steps to take off sooner rather than later. I have a pod metal sign shop too. Would be happy to share my stores with you. Thanks sgain.

    I have been working my way through your videos and learning so much. Thank you
    I have a couple questions.
    I also watch some other UA-camrs and I get mixed perceptions. One guy is telling me to run Etsy ads to get sales and help rank higher until I can remove that listing from ads and continue organically. Then another guy said Etsy ads and organic sales have different algorithms and ad sales won’t help with organic ranking. Not sure what to do.
    I sell editable wedding templates. How do I get repeat customers? Wait till they get married a second time lol maybe they will recommend a friend. I don’t know

    • @digitallypurposedbailey
      @digitallypurposedbailey  7 місяців тому

      You're welcome! I haven't really experienced listings that no longer rank after ads, because a sale is a sale, so mine have continued to sale organically even after I removed ads from them. As for repeat customers, I would look at also selling things newly married couple would buy to be able to remarket to them again, think anniversary type things. :)

    Thank you Bailey, for another great, very informative video! I have watched all of your videos (and loved them all), but due to an illness that affects short term memory, I can’t remember if you’ve gone over the subjects of copyright and trademark before or not… other than a brief touch on it in this video, of course, so I thought I’d go ahead and ask about it here. You can always save answering it for a future video. 😉Okay, here it goes…Do you do copyright/trademark searches before creating any product using words/phrases or images in your design and if you do…HOW you do it? I haven’t even opened my shop yet and already I am scared of getting in trouble for copyright infringement for certain words or phrases that MAY be copyrighted and I just don’t know it. I saw a video where a woman was very upset because Etsy shut her shop down because she used “Cruel summer” on a T-shirt because of Taylor Swifts new song. She also mentioned getting in trouble for using “Merry and Bright.” I don’t understand how these can be protected under copyright law…seems crazy to me. Have you ever been dinged for copyright? If so, how do you handle it? Just take the listing down and hope no other items get dinged? How do you navigate this sort of thing? I’m sure other inquiring minds would love to know as well. 😁
    I look forward to your next video, whatever it will be about. Thank you so much for your generous spirit! I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and well! ❤

    • @digitallypurposedbailey
      @digitallypurposedbailey  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi! I haven't made a dedicated video about it, but I usually only check TESS if I'm not sure about something, like a popular, newer saying that I haven't heard of to make sure it's not related to something trademarked. I have gotten dinged before and it was an honest image scraper mistake, so we counterclaimed it and it was removed and the listing was able to be put back up.

    I am trying to break into the funny sayings or quotes niche for the tumblers ect. However, i am having difficulty finding keywords for these since funny tumbler is pretty saturated. Should i reaearch the quotea first and then place them on the tumbler?

    • @digitallypurposedbailey
      @digitallypurposedbailey  8 місяців тому +1

      This could be a way to do it, though sometimes a quote won't have tumbler attached to it, so it's hard to know if they're actually searching for that quote on a tumbler or something else

    Hi Bailey, I started watching your UA-cam videos and purchased a Midjourney membership. I'm trying to design, I hope I succeed. What I'm wondering is which print on demand site I can use for the designs I make (tumbler, mug or tsort). What do you recommend in terms of quality and price performance?

    Although in your example it wouldn’t have made any difference, it is my understanding if you post a response to a review it locks in the rating. So the customer can’t go in and change it to a higher rating once the problem is resolved…
