Hey Bailey, thank you so much for another great video! I have a question I’d like to ask you…I’ve been wondering about what to do if a customer orders a customized product, but the word(s) or phrase they choose is copyrighted or trademarked…should we be searching for trademarks for custom products and reject the order if it IS trademarked or does it not count in the same way as if we, the seller, were marketing it and selling it on our own? Do you happen to know/have you run into this issue? I’ll appreciate any insight you have on the subject. 😁❤️
You're welcome! I have run into this quite a few times, but not really with words/quotes, more just images...like 'Stitch' or 'Moana' :) I just say, sorry, but I don't design trademark/copyright designs. But I really think it's up to your discretion :)
Thank you so much for this video! I recently decided to open up a PNG store after watching some of your videos, but something you said caught my eye. I was hoping that my products would be of interest to crafters but I've been saving them as PNGs and you mentioned SVG's. Can I create those in canva? I know I can save them that way, but once in a while I've sent a customer that in another shop and they always ended up not being able to use them properly in their design space for their crickets. Now. I'm sad because I think I may have uploaded almost 100 listings in the wrong format for my targeted audience
@@pam3515 okay so that's what I've been doing! Over Christmas. I had a certain design that I also offered as a SVG but several people were not able to use it with their Cricut program, which is what made me wonder if the SVG file output that canva had was not good enough
@@HistoryandCrimewithRobinwho are your audience? If you are selling to Cricut and silhouette machine user you need SVG cut file. Can’t just be SVG file must be a cut file so they’ll have cut line. There’s some video on UA-cam here where you can learn how to create svg cut file.
👋Hi Bailey, I was wondering❓how you add so many freebies on a purchase when Etsy only lets you add 5 files? Thank you in advance! I appreciate all you have taught me. ❣
ah yes exactly I was planning to research this weekend

You can save files as SVGs if you have a Canva Pro account.

You're welcome! You'll just want to add a file with a link that directs the buyer to where you store them.
Do you know which suppliers offer various types of sublimation products?
I think Merchize can do it. They have all sort of all-over print apparel products
Most suppliers use other methods than sublimation for printing like DTF, UVDTF or screen printing, but it will say on the site which method they use
❤❤❤
