Gukesh got that dawg in him though 😏
😂 Gukesh is going to 5-0 him

Two losers who nobody will believe to be the world chess champion or even in the top 3 players in the world. FIDE champion, nothing more. Pathetic.

After all his accolades Magnus Carlsen just became “You Know Who” 😅
Hahahaha that made me laugh

@@DreamhouseFunStories That’s what I thought
Magnus is "you know who" for undefeated streak. Kasparov is "you know who" for youngest world champion.
If MC iz the GOAT, shouldn't he be referred to as Ewe Know Who
"He's been having some issues winning games lately"
V relatable!
😂
The best chess journalist in the current era! I will be following your channel exclusively for the recaps!
Same.
The 100 games unbeaten streak was broken by none other than the legendary Sicilian defense player, MVL in Shenzhen.
I just can’t envision Ding suddenly playing his best chess again even so I’m rooting for my guy Gukesh he has great determination and he’s a great classical chess GM this Championship means so much to him and all of India 🇮🇳 I really hope he prevails and believe he will . The first few games will give us some idea of how this contest will go I hope Gukesh gets off to a strong start that will be encouraging Thanks Agadmator 😊♟️‼️🇮🇳🏆❤️
2:15 Two Asian players competing for the first time for a World Championship will be a theme of the every sports game in less than a decade
Except for running and swimming :)
@@neagudan
Even in swimming, the Chinese are reallly good these days…
In my opinion, Gukesh should try to win in the classical format itself. He has shown incredible calculation and conversion skills, especially in the game with the Knights in the olympiad. But his recent performances in rapid hasn't been that good. Ding, on the other hand might try to draw the classical matches and fight it out in the rapid since he was once one of the highest rated rapid and blitz players.
Hopefully, it will be a good match with fireworks in each round!
I think they're both extreme calculators so it's going to be interesting to say the least. Like Magnus himself admitted that Ding was a better calculator than himself. And I think the extremely sharp positions Gukesh can produce is going to inspire Ding to bring back his old self. That's all he's missing I feel is inspiration.
Hey Agad, Isn't it fun showing games of seconds of both players? #suggestion
3:20 voldemort?
🤫
It was Gogmagog, actually
Love Gukesh but Ding is just ma boy. I hope he’s recovered from the sub-par year he’s had to play his best chess yet - but will still be fine with Gukesh. May the best mind win.
He probably has no chance to be fair.
@@gunz300 he who?
@@Shabasam19 I like how you're pretending you don't know I'm referring to Ding.
@@gunz300Who are you? Magnus Carlsen? You really think you’re qualified to judge what any chess GM is capable of??😂
@@khaby0060 What kind of a question is that? I'm making a very obvious observation based on his play for almost two years now. When did I ever imply that I'm some kind of a strong player? Ding isn't even rated in the top 20 anymore. If I said a college football team couldn't beat an NFL team, would you also suggest I'd have to be an NFL caliber player to make such a simple observation? Be better.
2:17 how about anand vs boris gelfand (2012)
They both played under india and israeli flags respective both being asian countries
Yes it can be argued that gelfand was born soviet - belarusian but still it deserves a mention
Israel is not a country and even if you consider it as such it is definitely not asian
I wish Christopher Yoo was in this tournament. He'd have knocked everyone out.
Lol
I agree, he would pack quite a punch
Usyk should be there.
My nickel.
Just keep him away from the punch bowl.
Would love to watch you streaming the WCC. The endless blather and analysis from the big channels gets tiresome, especially when they sometimes don't even show the live board.
I have Gukesh winning, but do not count the more experienced Ding out.
judging by his absolutely terrible play as of late, completely counting him out
Ding seems to be suffering from some sort of mental problems, hope he can bounce back to make for an interesting matchup.
thank you very much for your advice
Gukesh doesnt want Arjun bcs he is madman😂
Ding is acting fool
Stream game 6 Agad. Game 6 is often the most fun one
"You know who"
Lord Voldemort of chess world... 😂
Lord Magnus himself...
Gay.
Ding vs Nepo was the best WC championship ever! It had everything including twists and adventure. Really loved it. I hope this one will live upto last year's
How does this sound ????
Ding vs Gukesh (14 Match WCC):
Match1: Ding Wins after Gukesh blunders a drawish position due to WCC pressure and the kind of attention he gets. Score: 1-0
Match 2-5: Dull Draws (Gukesh wants to settle down, so goes bookish, Ding ,fully aware of not being his best, plays it absolute safe) Score: 3-2
Match 6: Gukesh is now fully equipped with the situation and starts playing aggressive chess, but Ding holds him somehow. Score: 3.5-2.5
Match 7: Both play to a draw, midway. Score: 4-3
Match 8: Law of averages catch up with Ding, and he loses with some poor play. Scores level at: 4-4
Match 9-10: Gukesh goes on his menacing best, puts Ding under severe pressure, and manages to outplay him in both. Scores: 4-6. History calling ....
Match 11: Ding comes back with a bang, plays an incredible game at 3000 elo level that Gukesh has no answers to: Score: 5-6
Match 12: Both players are now exhausted, and settle for a draw. Score: 5.5-6.5
Match 13: Gukesh prepares to go for a draw even before the 1st move, but Ding doesn't relent, match goes on for 100+ moves, Ding blunders at the fag end after a 7 hr play, and Gukesh wins.
Final Score: 5.5-7.5
With that, Gukesh becomes the youngest WCC, and is all set to meet either Nordirbek or Arjun for the next WCC in 2026 !!
Bullshit but funny to read
@НадеждаАлександрович-э7г it was meant for fun😊
This is way too detailed to be fake.
@@ptj1ptj172gukesh is playing white first. i m sure ding just wants to draw first game. plz edit make it real. nice atory btw 👍
@prajwalbharambe343 read again, I said it is predicted to head to a draw with Gukesh blundering out of pressure.
Mr. Agadmator, you forgot to cover who the suit designers will be for each of the players. And what their favorite colors are.
what a delight to see Ding getting back
I will very much enjoy every game you would care to stream. I think you are the best commentator for a player like me.
Incredible game by Ding. I hope he plays fighting chess and isn't too cautious, i'm rooting for him
Game starts at 8:29
Singapore is uniquely the perfect venue for this match because both Ding and Gukesh's mother tongues i.e. Mandarin and Tamil are official languages there.
So, in a way this is home ground for both of them.
It's Telugu not Tamil
Gukesh native language is Telugu, but of course, tamil is one of official languages in SG.
Agadmator streaming WCC would be the single greatest thing that could happen in chess

Hi Agadmator! Looking forward to your recaps with the WCC starting today. My only request is if you could make your thumbnails and titles as spoiler free as possible. Knowing the result beforehand takes a little bit of the fun out of the recap. Have a great day !
The Singapore venue is breathtaking
This is such a hard decision when both players are favorites, and both countries are praiseworthy. I for once will decide to remain wise and choose silence, my fifth amendment right.
both countries are the most corrupt on earth
I really can't even guess who's going to win, thats how close this is

@@phillipkleopas7230 obviously, I don't understand how people can't see this, Ding is the all time weakest world champion and at the same time the weakest gm right now. And still people are hoping to see a good fight between them.😂😂
@@ohhyeahmosajii1789 weakest gm is a stretch.
@neversayxever Weakest GM is a straight up dumb lie, GM starts at 2500, I will say though that the World Champion being ranked 22nd in the world is embarrassing
As I did last year, I will rooting for Ding, the unlikely underdog
#question What are the anti-cheating measures in place for the world championship if there are any.
a live stream on this channel would be the greatest thing
If the 2800 Ding shows up then we'll have great matches. Both these guys love 1.d4 which is always exciting as it leads to open positions.
If the 2800 Ding shows up then Gukesh will lose not just that if 2018 Ding played the current Magnus, Ding would win but Ding is far far from his peak.
2800 Ding was at some point the highest-rated blitz player while also being top 3 in classical. As Nepo himself admitted, if peak Ding played, Gukesh would be the underdog. And that would be true for most of the top players, except Magnus and maybe Fabiano.
Sadly, we might never see that Ding again 😞
Peak ding couldn't win Candidates though @@melh937

I don't know why but I Am Getting More into chess I just developed it just few months ago but I actually like myself trap in Chess world ❤ ... It helps me to think More
Both are superb calculators so I expect some sharp lines. Ding must be given the edge with his experience.
Ding has been a dumpster fire the past 18 months. This is the most pathetic FIDE "championship" in chess history. How embarrassing.
Baguio is in the Philippines. Korchnoi vs Karpov, very interesting match where Karpov was said to have hired an hypnosis while Korchnoi hired some local spiritualist
Ding’s Sinquefield victory against Magnus in 2019 was his absolute best form. I hope he can summon his 2019 self
It would be great if you could find time to live stream more than just 1 game. Looking forward to the live stream!
Eagerly waiting ✋️
As it will always be - one Ding to rule them all. As much as I enjoy Gukesh playing chess, I want him to have a really tough time to grab the throne and the crown from Ding.
He prepared like the whole year for this event, he must not disappoint. And he will not.
There is not armaggedon
Classical 120min after move 40 there is increment after move 60 there is 30s increment per move
Rapid 25+10
Blitz 5+3 If drawn another Blitz section of 3+2 until someone win.
I truly hope we get to see the old 2800 Ding again.
Stupid question. Can they change the 2nd or add a few more during the tournament? I supposed is all personal choice right?
Come on Ding my bro u got this and morning Antonio just a fan from New Zealand
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
#suggestion I believe we’re all gonna enjoy if you can live stream the match, with you commentary with Aga! Please try your best to make it 🫡
My predictions
1. Gukesh will show no nerves in the match - not even in the first game.
2. He will handily beat Ding and it will be over well before the 14 games.
3. Then the top chess players will insinuate that it was not the best 2 players and he is not deserving.
4. That will motivate him to go on a binge over the next year beating all the top players except Magnus.
#Suggestion - Can you please cover the game between Ding Liren beating Magnus Carlsen in the blitz game. I forgot what year it was but I remember the position leading to Magnus Carlsen resigning since there was no way to stop the opera house checkmate. Magnus threaten checkmate but Ding defended with a discovered checkmate defense with the knight back. (The immortal Ivanchuk move) take it into consideration and have an excellent rest of your day.
My dream championship is Hikaru winning this year, and then Ding is Rapport's second against Hikaru next time, with Niemann played by Pauly Shore as Hikaru's second. Best Rocky 3 chess story possible.
damn! superb game 👏
Suggestion # any game Gukesh won during the Chennai Chess comp I know you’ve shown most of those games maybe there was one you might not have ? I know he had scored 9 points out of a possible 10 he had won 8 with 2 draws

#question how will the prize money be split between the winner and runner up? and what's the bonus they get for each won game? greetings Mr. #Agadmator from Zambia and from my uncle
What is the prize money for the final?
The total prize fund provided for the World Chess Championship final is 2.5 million US Dollars (USD).
The fund will be divided as follows:
Each player shall receive 200,000 USD for each game won (including games won by forfeit). The remaining balance of the prize fund shall be split equally between the players.
If the final score is 7.5:6.5 with 13 decisive games or 8:6 with 14 decisive games, the prize money shall be divided as follows: the winner receives 1.3 million USD, the runner-up receives 1.2 million USD
If the winner is decided on tie-break, the prize money shall be divided as follows: the winner receives one 1.3 million USD, the runner-up receives 1.2 million USD
Also, one month before the first game championship final, each player shall receive 200,000 USD. This amount shall be deducted from the prize fund. The remaining balance shall be remitted to the players within fourteen working days after the completion of the World Championship Match.
The "you know who" in question is Kasparov, still holding the record of the youngest ever chess world champions. Magnus had the opportunity to best that record back in 2011/2012 but chose not to.

Will they be playing in front of a crowd?
Ding stage presence like kuku-small school boy. But I reaally hv nothing against him. Some of his moves were really radical and can win games!
Is Vishy & Anna going to comentry this matchs?
I wonder if Ding even wants to win. I think it's possible he's seen it as a stressful burden and will be happy to be done w being the champion. I hope not, tho.

1 point = 200 000$. So, if tie is 7 1/2 - 6 1/2 players get 1.3 M$ and 1.2 M$
Very sad to see Ding struggle but he’s still a great player.
Without Magnus, does it make sense to rename this match to the FIDE grand championship? The "world" chess championship title falls flat these days.
prime ding liren used to beat magnus carlsen pretty effortlessly, he was not better than magnus, but he was clearly better than any other opponent magnus faced in his career, and magnus admitted it too.
Ding never defeated magnus is classical .... All these build-ups are nothing just adding spice to the boring world of chess .
Magnus is Goat
Gukesh is world champion
Don't overthink 😊
@@slimshady6242 magnus himself said that prime ding liren used to give him a tough challenge, do u know more about magnus than magnus himself lol.
All hail King 👑 Ding Liren 🙂
Vishy vs Kramnik also include both asain
Ding I’m rooting for you
Once again, FIDE doesn't get it. There should NEVER be short-game tie-breaks. There's an old saying: "To be the best you must beat the best." In a 14-game match, Gukesh should have to reach 7-1/2 points to take the title. Otherwise, he hasn't proved he's better than Ding, and therefore Ding should keep his title.
Remember, this is the pinnacle of chess superiority. All other chess titles -- no matter how prestigious or lucrative -- pale in comparison. This is the one championship that should be settled on the merits of the rules of classical time format. The only variation I'd be comfortable with are minor adjustments to the time format itself.
Of course, many of you will argue that in other championship contests -- say, the NFL's Super Bowl, or the Masters golf tournament, or the World Cup of Soccer, special short-form tie-breaks are part of the game. But not all championships go that route. For example, the World Series [of Major League Baseball] simply goes into extra innings to decide the winner (in fact, they do that even for regular-season games).
When I think about "the game 6 magic". Now I think "d5"
