If you can, remove the battery (multi colored cords shown at 2:47) and plug in your device. Once it’s plugged into the charger then turn on developer mode comment on my recent video if you need further assistance
Yes copy the serial Nummber if the device and do it on a different device and also I have found with windows make sure you launch chrome as administrator so that when you launch the recovery tool kit it has permissions to write data to the usb or sd card

i have an acer c710 . i used the acer c7 package on your list. It worked, but i cant get into developer mode. this computer doesn't have a write protection screw in it. it does have a jumper though. Yes. All programs and extension like Hapara, GCM, others will be deleted off your Chromebook permanently as long as you don't log in to your school, etc account to get on your Chromebook.

That's a damn struggle...I got a idea. Use a different computer (PC or Mac) and go to chrome app and go to google web store and download Chromebook Recovery Utility. After it finished, get your SD card or USB Drive and plug it in. Click continue and when it says enter your model number, open your Chromebook and turn it on. While it is on, hold ESC+refresh(F4)+power and it will bring up saying your chrome is missing. Look at the bottom and you will see your model number. Go back to your different PC and enter your model number from your Chromebook. Hit continue and follow my steps 1:58
