    Its a funny thing....way back when I used to watch Mike Tyson despatch an opponent in the first few rounds I never thought years later I would be watching every video available about him (thankyou you tube) all his fights, documentaries, life stories and interviews-anything I can get hold of-because he is without a doubt one of the most interesting, soulful, genuine, insightful and entertaining people around. What a GREAT interview 10/10 ✌

    Excellent interview!
    You're asking all those questions I always wanted to ask him. The mainstream media nitwits who could care less about the art of boxing or Mike's underlying psychology (which is quite complex and FASCINATING to a fight fan) and it would never even occur to them to ask such questions.
    Great job on a brilliant interview.

    In his prime unbeatable! He still wanted a piece of Holyfield! Buster fight he knocked Buster out. I always say this and people be like wtf ur wrong. Screwed like Dempsey in the long count! Dempsey really not screwed like Tyson was though. Dempsey forgot to go to neutral corner. EXCELLENT INTERVIEW! So glad he made it through his dark years.

    I love Tyson, I completely understand him, him not having any real parents in his life except cus and that Italian women really still shows today. He is very intelligent which reflects of cus but he never got the love from cus that he wanted. He only knew cus for 5 years and he still seems like a big kid which I can't fault him. God bless Tyson he could have been the best ever with Cus in his life or if he had a really good mother or father.

    i dont know why people always portray him as dumb.. clearly this dude is very intelligent, informed and interesting to watch.. and articulate even with his speech impediment and all..(which obviously is no fault of his).. people should just give him a break!

    • @jstan3700
      @jstan3700 9 років тому +2

      ***** true but i think some interviewers deliberately provoke him or ask silly/rude questions just to see how far they can get a 'bad' reaction from him. They are aware it makes "good" tv or an interview for the rest of us watching if you know what i mean. Ive seen this happen many times. Manipulation at its best!

    • @mv3x1
      @mv3x1 8 років тому +1

      Only dumb people see him as dumb, your perception always bends to see similaritys as yourself and they like to make themselves feel better
      i have always seen him like you say and known he has a hint of genius, there is many different forms of intelligence

    The pic up at 8:30 always reminds me of this pic from greek mythology - www.theoi.com/Georgikos/KentaurosKheiron.html
    Chiron - Zeus's half brother. First Centaur, taught Jason of Argonauts, Hercules, and other great warriors, along with the first doctor. His name's translation is literally "Skilled with Hands".
    Achilles - His grandson, 'n most of you know his story.
