Wow, this is a hot looking Chevelle! I absolutely love the color combination. A 454 with a 4-speed, cowl induction, gauges, buckets......it doesn't get better. Actually it does, this is a factory a/c car. The air needs work but the potential is there.
EXTERIOR: Georgia built car, I bought it down south. It is really straight, actually looking into the side of the car is like looking into a mirror. You could shave in the reflection. I don't see any signs of rust, damage or bubbles. No vinyl top, correctly painted white SS stripes. It has an actual cowl induction hood and racing pins. The windshield is new. It looks like most of the trim is new- grill, emblems, bumpers, lenses, handles etc. The SS wheels are restored with a set of BFG tires.
INTERIOR: The red really pops, I love it. For the most part it looks new. Down on the floor is new red carpet, new reproduction console with a new Hurst 4-speed sticking out of it. The seats feel like they have all new cushions, new upholstery including the headrests, new chrome trim. New door panels, window cranks and armrest pads. In front of me the instrument panel is new, has factory SS gauges, new deluxe wheel. Complete set of original red seat belts. The headliner and visors are excellent.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Performance 454 motor with square port heads, polished aluminium intake, new Holley carb, coated headers and a healthy cam. It has a new billet distributor. In front of the motor is an aluminium timing cover and water pump. It also has billet brackets, pulleys and serpentine belt system. It has a polished 1 wire alternator and a billet March power steering with remote reservoir and braided hoses. There is a polished a/c compressor. This is a factory air conditioned car, so it has the components on the firewall and a condenser. It will need work to be functional but parts are available. There is a big electric fan in the stock shroud. New cadmium plated brake booster, new master cylinder.

Hi Jay. I'm not normally a fan of big wheels on these older cars but this car would benefit . Joel Smithers doesn't like the red interior !?😨😨 And someone said Dracula would like this and yes l'm sure he would 😈😈 l didn't realise how much these Chevelles are worth ! Supply and demand l guess. I get the impression the owner either ran out of patience or money . It won't cost very much to take this beauty to the next level which is where it deserves to be. Thanks Jay .

@@ianmcculloch6839 I agree, plus it maybe a clone and not a real SS. I had one back then but a 396. Tach redline does not look correct for a 454.

@@tombankwel4822 The red is a bad choice, the interior should have been black, or white, white some offsetting accents in stitching. The red is too much, all red.
