SB acoustics make great drivers. I have those Bliesma tweeters in my studio monitors. I am using Dayton subwoofers with Purifi low mid and Tang Band 2" soft dome hi mid. Super low distortion at 105 db. Below .4% from 28 hz to 20khz.

    Really nice speakers.
I also appreciate that he is using a 3 channel Hypex plate amp which has state of the art performance and really nice DSP functionality. Really hope that he'll be successful and be able to sell them worldwide (like Buchardt audio for example)

There's another amazing "upcoming" Korean speaker brand called Orchestalls HiFi by KMD Engineering Co. It got great presses when they exhibited their speakers for the first time in US during Axpona 2022. I was truly impressed as well. That brand started as an engineer father's & musician son's passion project and have been developed over many years. If you're still in Korea and have a chance, perhaps is worth researching/visiting that brand as well.

Wow Jay it must have been satisfying to go back to Korea and see the calibre of audio systems. I did like the look of those speakers and look forward to seeing how they perform in your space. My wife and I have a pair of March Audio Purify speakers with a matching pair of class D purify monobloc amplifiers for one of our rooms and were surprised how good the system sounded. It’s not surprising your Korean friends like the purify drivers. Great video. Another Korean company Aurender make awesome streamers. Thanks Jay enjoyed the video 😎👍

Very cool you were impressed with the bass playback.
Small sealed designs like this are ideally suited to active DSP'd Linkwitz Transform EQ'ing to overcome the modest box volume ... so no surprise the bass was well extended and controlled.
The caveat being (there's always a compromise!) the extra thermal load on the voice coil that must be dissipated ... which manifests in subtle compression effects across the full operational range of the driver.
Smart design, ie., target a current successful monitor design, and elevate the performance even higher.

Hi Jay thank you for introducing us to a new exciting product from Korea.
You described near the end about the bass coming from the sealed cabinet.
I am curious how these would compare to another amazing product here in Canada that you reviewed some time ago.
The Gershman studio 2. A speaker that is also a sealed cabinet that is capable of recreating very low bass frequencies. Interesting they too are designed and tuned by an engineer in a studio recording environment. Great work as always on this video.

Koreans are extremely cautious. Because of the yellow dust from China, Koreans have been wearing them before covid pandemic. So right now, they no longer require to wear them outside, but almost everyone wears them. Let's see how they do after this month as it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask at all. My bet is at least half of them will still wear them.
