Wow! That's incredible. So great to see you climbing with your wife. She's very skilled too. Hope to see you both together in future videos. Happy Birthday!!!
Did this in oct with my wife and our freinds it was an awesome adventure! Video is great as usual, i hope to make it out that way again next year l, to many adventures to be had.
Really enjoyed the whole adventure, your wife is a great addition to any video you do! Stunning area dude, thanks so much for all the effort spent putting these together 🙏👏
Oh yeah she's a strong companion, always has been! Honestly the climbing was more sketch than advertised in a couple spots, but that said well, well worth it. Great day in Arches👍! Karl
I love Elephant Butte canyoneering. Please keep these videos coming. I just moved from the Colorado Plateau and you are my only connection. Thank you Karl!
For Canyoneering I’ve been using an 8mm x 60m. It has lasted surprisingly long. Many years old and no dings. It is a 1/2 rope & dynamic rope designed for a double rope climbing system. Static would be better for repels only. It is much less friction when rappelling compared to the standard 9-10mm ropes. I always use a “toothed” ATC with it and stay focused on my break hand!
Great adventure Karl and great video! The route finding looks tough there but awesome area to explore!
Thanks my friend really appreciate it, Karl!

Hey Karl, what is your go to lightweight rope for your adventures?

Right on, thanks! Always good to see what folks are using out there. We have traveled much similar ground. Cheers from Ouray!
