#Windows365 #Win365 #CloudPC #Microsoft365 - Наука та технологія
Great stuff MSFT! Rendering 180+ Frames with GPU, but really.... displaying 30-60fps locally? What's the max framerate of the display protocol the new Windows App uses? If it's 60+, this could give some good uses cases for us to finally move people off VMware Horizon! Creatives really like local GPU like experiences.
I want this so that I can finally move to Ubuntu with no fear of losing windows programms
I want to make the same move, but to a Samsung tablet or Chromebook device.
especially for you apple made app porting tool on Sonoma for M chip Macs for intel we have bootcamp(its tool to launch windows as second OS native on Mac) and we have wine (windows emulator)
What happens if your internet is out?
does it recognize an usb when connecting through an iphone, mac, or android?
How expensive would that be?
Thanks
Can we install such as steam and other gaming platforms?
Is this going to be available for personal usage instead of just business/enterprise?
enterprise only probably
Yes but the question i cant seem to get answered if you have three W365 instances would they be on the same network (LAN) and be able to share files and folders via the application?
Yeah. Why would you not
Im pretty sure w365 supports full SDN. I mean compared to what they’re showing, that’s easy.
It renders alot of frames - what is the actual fps locally? It looks like ~20fps
yes, that is the point actually :)
Its actually prblem of both a codec in cloud (nobody knows what they are using), intenet speed and what decoding you have on client (and it also can suck in case if it av1 fro example).
This is great.
i hope the cloud pc work nice with android tablet, because its great for work. no need 1,5kg laptop no more 😊
Let's go! AI training + game cloud became one!
how to download this wallpaper
sweet sweet subscription
Would love this on samsung Dex@
Does it run visual studio?
Yes, the Windows environments you access with it will run Visual Studio. You can also use it for accessing Dev Box VMs, which are more project-based and tend to have IDEs in their images.
Sooo... remote desktop. And not *your* desktop, like one running at home that you can get to elsewhere which you can already do if you know how, but a VM somewhere that you pay for in addition to whatever you normally run.
how does this differ from remote desktop when using it to connect to a remote pc?
It allows MS back into your device, to watch what you are doing.
There’s no remote PC. It’s a cloud based solution for businesses.
No difference for the end-user, but Microsoft manages the VM, so the admin does not have to set up and maintain the VM, network etc
Why would someone use AVD over W365?
Multi session host :)
Licensing cost probably - AVDmultisession host with 8 users vs 8 individual instances of W365 is probably quite considerable over time. The use case depends on the needs of the organisation I suppose.
RemoteApp support
interesting
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I never saw people try to use mac .
Never and i mean never will i put my pc in the cloud.
now, it is time to buy a mac without thinking about windows:/
So funny when people from microsoft using macs as personal computer)
Windows app made intended to access from any device and able to use as per any required environment. The man used here mac to show the capability of windows app on mac device. They have done it intentionally not by mistake. Just chill, dear.
🗿
@@MizanurRahman_mihun he said it was his mac) just chill and enjoy the show
This may blow your mind but some Microsoft servers are running on Linux. Because they are adults.
How are they gonna test the app if they use a surface and another windows based device ? Duhhh xD
Now make one for Android devices and we won't need PCs.
Android version is coming soon 🙂
I am shitting my pants, that’s so awesome!
Conductor with a microsoft laptop, meanwhile the windows worker with macbook and Ipad... are you kidding me??? Fire him straight!
Microsft Teams …lol
Windows 365 should be free
