- Let’s kick start this summer by walking with the Gaddi Shepherds of Kinnaur. In this episode I walk with some shepherds traveling across the Bhabha Pass from Kinnaur to Spiti and document the journey. Our destination is the beautiful Chhohem located within the Pin Valley National Park. More about Chhohem in the next episode.

Bhai Take a BOW!!! you are just a next level person.Never seen anyone so dedicated and hardworking in my life. Thanks for the Story of Other side . You Rock brother 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏. I became your Biggest fan. Although i also trek to many passes but you are from another planet.
This has the most beautiful beautiful video I've seen in a while. 😍
Interesting to glimpse into the lives of these shepards, enjoyed how they built their temporary shelter and made chappatis. Kinnaur looks truly beautiful and unspoilt by pollution.
Kinnaur is definitely a bit less undiscovered than other parts of Himachal. But this valley will change drastically in a couple of years when a road cuts through it connecting Kinnaur and Spiti.
Your videos are always original...always a medium through which you speak to the world..God bless and keep up this wondetful lifestyle!!
Amazing place

Thank you brother for taking your viewers so close to the mighty and majestic Himalayan/Trans-Himalayan region through your vlogs. To the regions further up and beyond those grand mountains in Kinnaur, Spiti and Ladakh.

Nice sir 👍 good to see gaddi community life and their tradition.
The best of your. Love the entire journey with Shepards. I have been staying with gaddies since long time. Full power to you.
That's awesome Rohit. I really wanted to make this video from the Gaddi's perspective, but couldn't. I'll be better prepared for the return journey from Spiti to Rupi.
Wow!! Amazing!! I felt like I was there for those 10 odd minutes!! Beautifully captured and narrated!! 😊👏👏
Happy to hear that 🙂
Dear Friend, your passion for exploring and discovery is simply astounding....so many many positive aspects that which need to be mentioned and recognized in your efforts and production, but I will only say one thing, thank you for every time that you overcame that thought of giving up on your quest and journey due to any number of reasons and for continuing on this journey . More strength, courage and happiness to you.

With such smoothness you make your videos Sir. Hatsoff!!!
I admire your commitment to capture the perfect moments to showcase the migrations of the goats. It's not easy, on some shots it can be seen how exhausted you were on top of Bhabha pass. Kudos, great effort.
How can someone say thanks to you mate, you're doing an impeccable job 💐💐💐💐
No need for any special thanks. Just keep watching and share my videos if you enjoy them. It would be more than enough.

Amazing 🤩 I‘m speechless! I can feel the breathlessly you feel, it’s really not easy to run up the mountains with a heavy Packpack. Happy you catched the shepherd’s, great pictures 🙌
Thank you.. and this main shepherd has become a very good friend. He calls me once a month or so.

fantatisque, I'm dreaming of that Bhabha pass for so long, thanks for sharing
Truly...India in Motion..
Yr videos always amazes me.... Tremendous hardwork and dedication
Brother, I have said it before and I'll keep saying it. Your videos are love, and so is your journey. One feels so serene and peaceful watching these videos. I should also add that there's a sense of freshness in the greens and other colours. Bought a new lens?
Also, I really hope that you keep a rough journal to pen down your thoughts and feelings throughout your journey. Obviously, just a suggestion, it's your choice. But yeah, you already have a fan reader if you choose to compile your journeys into Books sometime later. :)
Safe travels Saravana!
Your videos are full of positive thoughts and energy. Also shepherd are super fast and hardly no one can keep with their speed
A heart full Salute to you my brother 🙏 I must join with you at least once in my life time 📸
Thank You. The last 3.5 minutes was pure bliss!
Thanks Navin. I was wondering whether to do a voiceover for the last part, but then decided that most of it is self explanatory.

Good work bro!! Really very hardworking and dedicated person

Beautiful video!
Very interesting and great scenic pics. The gaddis of these mountains and pali of rajasthan and uttarpradesh have so much similarities. I was amazed to see them.
I loved watching this. It's great solo you travelled and the beautiful sites that you have captured. Thanks for uploading.
Amazing shots it’s so mesmerizing to see your beautiful scenery and above all sheep are beautiful
This is amazing. I had done solo bike trip in Ladakh in 2016 and when I look back, that looks crazy. But after watching your adventures, I feel like doing it all over again.
Lovely, lovely, lovely work Saravana! And yes, it would be great to document the life of shepherds in the mountains.
I want to do this as a long term project. But I need to overcome my reservations about getting close to people (i.e putting the camera up close to the people I’m filming) and need to get better at interviewing them. I currently suck at these 2 things, so the videos are not coming out the way I want them to.
India In Motion I can understand you, having my own reservations to approach people to document them. Maybe start by asking their daily chores and seasonal shiftings with the herd or asking about the local region. You will get there :) keep producing quality content.
Thanks Nitish. I’ll keep working on it.
no words to say about these beauty the you share with us brother. keep exploring .. wishing you good luck in future adventures.
Thanks for creating this video.. you are very tough guy and i hope you will upload more videos like this

Thanks Azraa
Another great video again from you Saravana and what's special about this video to me is that, it covers the life of these Gaddi shepherds to some extent. Thank you for that.
Thanks man. I hope to dive deep into the life of these shepherds. I spent more time with them on the return journey and got some interesting footage there as well. But I did not manage to get any interviews of the shepherds (it's always my weak point). So I'm holding off on releasing the video until I get some proper interviews with the shepherds.
You are enjoying proper life, may God bless you.!
Thank you
I really like your video. you exploring real wildlife
Amazing.. you inspire dude
