Salmon Sashimi & Avocado Donburi | Prepared During Lockdown 2020 | Limited Ingredients in the shops

  • Fresh salmon fillet sliced and placed on a bed of sushi rice. Sided with diced & sliced cucumber strips and thinly sliced avocado. Garnished with nori strips, salmon flakes, sprinkled black sesame seeds and shichimi togarashi. Serve with wasabi, ginger and drizzle of light soy sauce on top.
    Ingredients:
    - 100g x cooked short grain rice (mixed with sushi seasoning vinegar)
    - 1 x fillet of salmon
    - 1 x salmon skin (cooked under grill & flaked)
    - 1 x thumb sized piece of Cucumber (diced into cubes and strips)
    - 1/2 x an avocado (thinly sliced)
    - 1/2 x nori sheet thinly sliced ( or snip with scissors)
    Sides:
    - pickled ginger
    - wasabi
    - sprinkled black sesame seeds
    - sprinkled shichimi togarashi (hot spice or mild one)
    - drizzle light soy to finish off
