There has never been a voice equal in range and sheer majesty. A beautiful woman with a beautiful soul that crystallized in her performances. I feel gifted to have experienced it.
Melanie's songs make me misty eyed, they seem to take me back to a more innocent time, a sufferance of all Gen Xers who grieve for past times in the slew of todays awful mess.

For this song the 6th string (low E) has been tuned down a step to D, which alters the shape and sound of the chords (D, Em, G, D).
