I mainly use it for country, punk and metal. Love this guitar. That country twang sounds so good on this guitar with the single coil split at the bridge. Sounds very "steely". It also sounds very angry and agressive for punk and metal. \m/
How flat does the fingerboard feel? That huge radius is the one spec that doesn’t sound up my alley. I’d love to try one out first but I haven’t seen any by me.
@@WillieD7 It's been 3 years but in case you're still interested it's very flat. I'm coming from a 12" and it's noticeably flatter to the point where it was an adjustment as it felt like I needed to extend my fingers further to chord. But I adjusted and I love the guitar. I have another with a 12" radius and it doesn't feel too weird going back and forth.
Awesome gats..just curious, the P90 used, is this their own or would maybe a Seymour sound better? I replaced the lipsticks in my 02 U2 re issue, seems to have more gain and fuller sound
This guy doesn't seem to realize a P90 pickup is a single coil. I think Gibson invented the legitimate P90 pickup, but the soapbars or whatever you call them in the Fender Jazzmasters are single coils, too. That's Fender's version of a P90. I have no idea what he's talking about when he says acts surprised that the neck pickup isn't a P90-sized house for a humbucker. Somebody out there does that? It doesn't really make any sense. I think he just had a misconception of what a P90 was, right? He probably noticed it was not as loud as he thought it should be and looked up the specs and thought, "huh, single coil? I totally thought it was a P90!"...right?
When playing sitting on a chair everything is fine. But when standing on stage with a strap, the neck/head constantly tilts down and you have to correct with your left hand. What a bad design!
I appreciate that you demo the various p.u. settings with no dist'n/o.d., so we can actually hear the guitar - some reviewers forget to do it!
Pretty sick. Jazz, blues, country, vintage rock n roll, and you can shred punk or metal. All on one sub-$800 guitar that looks great.

@@j.dviant That neck pickup is also great for western swing
@@alexandercrews1194 i use the neck pup for a sweet duane eddy type tone.

it screams Doom, Stoner and Sludge
wow. great sounding, and looking, guitar. gonna have to find one to try out
Want it, need it, love it... Dano you out Dano'd yourself!!!
Saw one in a shop...it is very playable upside-down. Why don't reviewers even mention that?! *feigned outrage*
can you get the same sound of the twangy w/ lipsticks as without the p90 ? or a Tele twang sound?

For the price it’s pretty hard to beat
great review

It is a bit difficult to hear the difference between the settings. Maybe it is just me.

What a bad design!
Built for doom!!
Minotauro Di Chieti What makes this a guitar suitable for doom? I'm just curious.
no purpose to a clean lipsitck sound to give it fuzz. distortion.
