I didn't here about this till today 6/7/'24. But I was on a fishing trip below Biloxi Miss. On 3rd and 4th at chandelier isl. .... Did a first activation in Breton Wildlife management us-0303.
The captain if DMJ charters allowed me to set up on top of me his boat ( Backdraft) to get first POTA. But I fished on the island and could have been a US islands Award . The Backdraft. Was well within the Breton Wildlife refuge and getting my 11 qsos with a g-90 and a ham stick was easier on top of boat.
