I was there. His bands travel unit broke down and he did the entire show acoustic. I stole the chair he was sitting in, tossed it over a wall and took off with it. We had it at our artist commune in phx forever. I’m pretty sure it is in Taos New Mexico now. Elliot’s Chair. One of the best shows I’ve ever experienced

Came across Elliott Smith 3 years ago (13 years old) and I’ve loved his music so so much and i feel he’s changed and shaped the way I am. His lyrics are like poetry and make you deep life, looking at life In a completely different perspective. After hearing he died over a decade it hurts badly knowing how tragic his life was. Elliott Smith needs and deserves far more recognition❤️
