I've been following John on Instagram almost as long as I've been watching you. I've been watching you Tommy and Rudnick for nearly 8 years. since before He was heavy on UA-cam.
i've always loved watching Jimmy and Crew doing engine, clutch, trans, etc. installs. It's so chill, well explained and relaxing to watch, everytime. Even though the work is not chill and relaxing, have done it a couple times.

I just share a piece of information on internal slaves, take it as you wish!
When you say you had heat issues on the slaves, rings my bell on issues heat triggered, not heat caused.
Internal slaves have a very specific orientation to respect if you want to be able to bleed it fully from air.
If you can't put at the recomended orientation (usually found on the manufacturer website, in installation drawing section) you then need to bench bleed the slaves to purge any air out.
If you don't, when the slave heats up, you struggle to engage gears and decouple the transmission from wheels and let's say, mistakenly assume you have heat issues when in fact is bleeding issues made worse by heat.
Love hearing this history about these car definitely tuning into his channel didn't not no that where Audi came from

Jimmy please try putting the gearbox in gear and twisting the output shaft so the input shaft splines drop in you will have a much easier time. I use an old tailshaft yoke or the whole tail shaft.

@16:38, nline oil cooler for clutch line. just like a power steering coooler? long as its rated for pressure youre golden. pressing the pedal will flow brake fluid through the cooler from normal use. then air flowing over the cooler while driving will helptoreduce the heat of the fluid via heat thransfer through the surfacearea of the cooler.ie. no more clutch pedal fade

I just bought that same torque wrench a few weeks ago and yes there is a setting for that. I think out of the box it alerts you at 50% of the torque setting

BRO GET THE PERANUMATIC ENGINE CRAIN UPGRADE FROM HOBO FRIEGHT! ITS A GAME CHANGER WHEN PULLING ENGINES! That hose on the ram makes it easier to move the load by being next to it. Not needing to pump and move makes it so much better
i had an Efan off a john deere gator on a jeep i had it pulled 2500 or 3000 CFM and was maybe 3 inches thick was like 50 bucks tractor parts are underrated imo

I’ve never had luck with 3mm air gap. As the clutch beds in. 3mm goes away real quick . Have had the best luck with 8mm and the clutches will wear down and won’t fail prematurely
