What a magnificent car!! I prefer the monochromatic red exterior to the two-tone schemes--they seem a bit tacky. The white interior with striped wood inlay is spectacular. I don't like the stationary seat controls or the large vertical screen. I preferred the old design with two horizontal screens beside each other. Sadly, neither my garage nor my wallet can accommodate this car. But it was fun to learn about it from Thomas.
You should have spent more time on the rear compartment. Thats what most future owners would be interested in. And of course, safety features for which MB is so famous.

Be careful around the infotainment systems, as I would never let Google into my car. I don’t want the ads in my browser reflect where I’ve been. Regardin what you like in an infotainment system is very personal, I would not trade the MBUX for anything else, as you seems to love Teslas system, which I don’t like at all. They are up for a personal perception, I don’t leave Mercedes-Benz because of MBUX 😉
I always thought that German could not pronounce the Dutch CH sound, but Thomas proved otherwise. MaybaCHHHHH..... So pronouncing Scheveningen must be pretty easy for our eastern neigbours :D
the two tone paint is cool because it's just classic Maybach and it signifies it being a Maybach just that much more to the owner and others who see it out driving around ... i think you just have to find two colors that match really well and makes the car pop
One of my dream cars. This and the top of the line Bentley or Rolls-Royce. It’s incredibly tough to beat in a luxury car. I think the ruby black looks the most like an ultra-luxury car. And that V12. Even better than my “lousy” Hot-V V8. You’ve got great taste in cars, my friend. That thing to me is the definition of a luxury car. I just wish they would come up with a modern version of the old plush velvet seats that used to be in the Cadillacs and New Yorkers of the late 1980s. Nothing beats velvet for luxury. It’s the most luxurious, comfortable experience in a car.
absolutely love these massive boat sedans , sadly they are becoming more and more extinct ... love them because i think they're the equivalent to the 60's - 80's Cadillac Devilles just massive cars that are meant to be driven slow and just relax and enjoy the ride ... also when people see these near 220'' length cars their first reaction is wtf is that thing lol
@@bubberlad s class next re-model in 6 to 7 years will be a horrible hatchback ... bmw seems to want to keep their classic sedan look but the s class edges keep getting rounder and rounder ,, they're doing this because the boring round look is more popular ,, and to me if they're willing to just be followers and just follow what is popular then the classic s class sedan is doomed ... the next s class will be a jaguar XJ/tesla Y/cadillac escala clone because hatchbacks and crossovers is the new (crappy) popular trend

Respectfully, the brocades with metallic threads, from the late 50’s, were pretty spectacular. Although not that comfortable, to he honest.
I don't know why leather is considered luxury.
