  • On a great 4th of July I went over to Goodwell to see what I could catch. I found wb 4908 sitting on the main for a few minutes and then he departed. One of my favorite parts of train watching is catching a lashup when it starts from dead stop and the engineer puts the spurs to the locomotives.
I had been using the same battery all day and spent lots of time filming the Sunset Limited scale railroad at Guymon and ran out of charge before the train was past.
    Thanks for watching.

I totally agree with your statement. I love watching the and hearing the engines getting a train started and the when engineer works quickly through the throttle. I like smoky starts too.

he waved and smiled, I've seen him on locos before with his trademark straw c'boy hat. 99% of the crews on this sub are friendly.

Did he wave or point? He was pretty stingy with that horn. A good crew knows how to work that horn when they're being made famous
