....take a bath in it! Awesome! I am going to make brown butter and then carry on with the rest of the recipe and use the sauce in a trifle with butter pecan cake and whipping cream. Thanks for the recipe.
I use the sauce to top my blackberry cobbler just pour it over the biscuit tops about 5 - 10 minutes before it's finished baking - gives a nice crunch. Can also booe it up with southern comfort.
Butter pecan French toast is one one my favorite things on your menu. I am so excited to make this myself! 75% chance I take your advice and take a bath with this sauce.
What we do at the restaurant is keep the sauce warm while we're serving it over a low flame double boiler. If it cools down and we want to reheat, we simply bring a little heavy cream in a pan and slowly whisk cold sauce until it's fully incorporated and reheated. Hope that helps!

Thank you for this recipe. Can you provide the Nutrition Information please?
Can you exclude the heavy cream from this recipe or use almond milk instead?
I've never tried it. I think the sauce's consistency is very reliant on the fat content of the cream.
Happy to report I'm in the minority because that dish is too good to become leftovers! Best French toast EVER!
I love this over waffles but the sauce thickens too much after cooling. Have to figure that part out😂

Mmm looks so delicious 🤤😋😋. Why does restaurants use sour dough bread for French toast?? By the way I don't like sour dough bread 🙅🏿♀️
