What do you like better The jet roller or the injection pressure roller, I have the Titan jet roller unfortunate thing is I have to take the roller off to clean it or throw it out
I forgot to mention that the cheap inline spray guns on Amazon or eBay work just fine with this since you have the Graco Clean Shot at the final end. I picked up a inline gun for about $30-$40. Be wary of buying a used Jet Roller (I did and I had to really clean it and properly torque the nuts on it). But between a used one and the cheap inline gun I got my compete setup for less than $200. Not bad. Now to try the non OEM Titan type Spray Guide and see if between the Graco Jet Roller and the Titan Spray Guide if things can go more efficiently while still producing professional results.
I've been using one of these for a few years..but modified...took roller of threw in garbage...put a 1226 tip in it to paint 4ft spray pattern.. swivel and check valve work great for closets small rooms and stairwells..can keep 2 guys busy backroll with 18 inch rollers..if all cieling/walls same color or prime coat ..ez$..exterior with 515 tip makes possible spray most 1 story building without bending down..or using ladder.. again..the swivel.. shield on pole if it makes sense use it...never used the roller...after watching this video...idk if I ever will..I've yet to see many painters know how to use one
@@painterken2542 They have an 18" version, it comes with a 1226 tip. Does anybody have experience with this version? The reason for the jet is to paint and backroll in one step.
After using the Jet Roller for a while and really having time to figure out its best uses and how to be as efficient as you can be with it, looking back do you think that the equipment cost/setup & prep time/tear down & cleaning time/and any inconveniences associated with it justify purchasing and using it over a conventional 18" roller and bucket? Also I have read that you can attach extra extensions for a longer reach but is that easy to do once the unit already has paint in it? Such as if you finish a bedroom with 8' ceilings and then move into a living room with cathedral ceilings. Any info is greatly appreciated and thanks for the review!
mrbojangles311 Bojangles. I have both the power roller and the jet roller. And I end up spraying part or all of 90% of my interior and exterior work. Having said that I do switch between jet rolling walls 8 foot and doing cathedral ceilings. And large cathedral slanted ceilings to about 18’. To switch between standard jet roller with its two extensions it came with and a 9 foot total pole you do the following. Make sure pump waste drain line and pick up hose are in the same paint can. Switch prime valve from spray to prime. Disassemble jet roller pole over tarp with two wrenches. Disassemble jet roller poles at their juncture. Add up to two extensions for a total of 9 feet. Be sure to use two adjustable wrenches to make all connections are tight and I do mean tight. Switch prime valve back to spray. Painting cathedral ceilings I found it best to use spray only. 616fflp or 517 blue tip work very well. On all ceilings use 50% overlap in spray. Promar ceiling for no lines. Ceilings can take more paint as they do not tend to run like they do on the walls. Figure 250 ft.² per gallon for ceilings. 375 ft.² for walls. I can spray a cathedral up to 17 1/2 foot tall ceiling from the ground and I’m only 5 foot 11. Way faster than using a dip and drip roller system and scaffold. If you’re spraying the ceilings mask absolutely everything underneath and all the railings and all furniture out to 4 feet past the walls. Have fun.
I am not nitpicking but from the first time I ever used a roller I was taught that you need it to point in the direction you are painting so your roller sleeve does not fall off ;-) just advice my friend you will see the difference.
Great Video, a bit long for the product, but, hey whatever blows your hair back lol does not seem with the price for what they are asking if the pole does not extend, basically I could use my 4 ft or 8 ft extension wand and just buy the roller attachment but seems hard to just find that part. if yall have a link for that part please post it thanks
Great demo and directions. Would love to see a right before you start using the Jet Roller video to see how much you cut, back roll your cutting and then roll. I just bought one mostly to get the Clean Shot attachment. This way I can put it on any extension and I don't have to worry as much about spitting. Then I thought... Buy the system and cut the time in half with the back rolling just like you did. Great idea Graco. I have seen others efforts to make something like this but I feel that Graco got it all in one package. You get the angle / clean shot attachment, heavy roller and extensions plus you can add more heavy duty extensions when needed. The funny thing is that the stock 721 Tip is near impossible to find. I ended up getting some 621's ... What tip are you using for your Jet Roller on interiors? Thanks again and great job! Not enough Clean Shot or Jet Roller real use videos out there. Not big on the canned corporate videos.
Muy buena explicación y demostración. Gracias por compartir.
Thanks you for showing us how this greco roller sprayer works. Well done:)
Lots of great tips to help a new painter avoid problems. Thanks!
Thanks,
skip to 3:55 for the actual usage of the jet roller
A decent 18" roller seems a lot less hassle (Arroworthy microfibres are great ) . The time you set that machine up you could roll the room in.
This leaves a FANTASTIC finish. no streaks and easy peasy to use.
It really is. I have both and prefer the 18” roller for interiors. The Jet roller is great for exterior stucco
Bes application would be someone that puts same exact paint on walls only everyday after ceilings and trim work is done and dry. Like myself actually!

I bet that wall was flashing pretty bad when it was all dry and finished
hello bro, can you give me the link of the apparatus you use? I can't find their names on the shopping sites.
Great job mate!
Thanks

Which you use and do you still reccomend them?

It's like spraying and back rolling. Without needing 2 people. I think I'd prefer a power roller. But Thx for the video.

Roller sleeve is too small is there a 12 inch
What is the tip size that you used with jet roller
How about over spray ?
I am not nitpicking but from the first time I ever used a roller I was taught that you need it to point in the direction you are painting so your roller sleeve does not fall off ;-) just advice my friend you will see the difference.
Maybe if he wore a mask he wouldn't be so crazy. Safety first
Why not just spray the room? What’s the benefit here?
Even if you spray you need to back roll he is doing both at the same time
IS THERE ANY OVER SPRAY... DO I NEED TO USE A MASK
Why not just spray the walls
I think jimbo been in that enclosed room for far to long... either that or he on that oohwee...😂🤣😂
Jerome Garcia def packing the beak with bugga sugga

There would be more space in the room if the intoxicated camera man wasn’t jumping up and down on a trampoline.
HAHAHAHAHHA

I think this is this guys first time doing this🤪😁🇺🇸🇺🇸
coast please
This guy has been sniffing to many paint fumes.
Give me an 18
By far, the dumbest, laziest way to roll walls. Id be done with 2 rooms by the time yer set up for 1.
Plus, it oversprays on your finished ceilings.
Yroc5000 flow I'm thinking of getting this set up, have u tried it?
Not for use in custom house repaint
Quicker just using a roller and no clean up. Also just start 1 end and go all the way round.
😴😴
Not his finest moment.
