I've said it, and I'll say it again... people out there ranting about Matteo Mancuso, Tim Henson, Max Ostro, etc... sure they are talented, but they are tasteless, boring and generic as hell. On the other hand, Manuel Gardner-Fernandes is not only talented but also his music is really moving and inspiring... this guy is amazing.
Matteo and Tim arent generic imo, who else plays fingerstyle the way Matteo does, i mean i havnt seen anyone that can do what he does with his fingers, and Tim basically launched this new modern techy guitar sound, however Max is a Guthrie Govan clone, and also most of Manuels videos are more technique oriented and less soulful, i dont care much for his yt vids, his live streams on the other hand is where he shines the most, those are where i find the most inspiration from him, i frequent his old live streams if im in the mood to learn some new progressions or chords or licks, he captures a certain vibe there that no one else does its great
