Farlight is the Definition of Wasted potential. Back when it was first released and after playing few games, i thought how is this game soo good. The jetpacks made this game stand out from the rest BR games. I forced all my friends to play F84. Everything went downhill when they decided to rework Carnivale without anyone asking. -They changed Maggie's OG voice even tho it was the best she ever had. -They changed heroes abilities even though they were balanced and unique. -They changed every fkinnn ability without a proper reason. Like i grinded for months and you're changing the abilities for no reason?! Not only you've wasted my time and effort but you've also wasted the money I've spent bcuz i loved those heroes. After reworking their abilities, i feel like they've completely ruined it. And the biggest DOWNFALL. REMOVAL OF FARLIGHT'S HEART. The Jetpacks. I was soo frustrated when they're reason for jetpack was "it's hard for beginners" Yeah, like you were running the moment you were born. What a STUPID DECISION AND EXPLANATION. I can't even comprehend my frustration that day. They'e trying to copy Apex because they want Apex's Fanbase. So what about your Fanbase? What about Farlight 84's Fanbase? You've only reached here because of us you dumbshit ! According to "ActivePlayer.io" 90% of players quit after the Removal of Jetpacks. The Jetpacks, The Heart of F84. It's been 4months since the Removal of Jetpacks. I installed the game today just to 'see' what other stupid changes they've done so far. And WOW! They didnt disappoint! They nerfed Movement & shooting so bad its like you're playing a completely different Game! Remember when we used the 'Vertical Jetpack' and we could select guns and shoot whilst in Mid-Air? I can't even do that too! (With Lucinda btw) They've changed the weapons mechanics of all sorts of guns for no reaosn. Man, its soo shit rn... The developers even went out of their way in making the hip-fire reduce accuracy and they added recoil to the weapons as if year 2084 will not have enough tech to remove recoil from real life guns. Now since the guns have recoil, ur movement will reduce cuz u have to use 1 of ur finger to now handle the recoil and the graphics r terrible😒
I had played farlight for 2 months and had reached the highests of ranks in Indian region.. i used to play apex legends since its released, left apex and came to farlight and just after 2 months of me playing farlight and mastering the jetpack they removed it.. I still played 1-2 weeks after the new update but at the end i missed the old farlight and so i left the game.. its been more then a month since i played farlight. now i'm going back to apex

Exactly I am kinda working with the changes and this video reminded me how hopeful I was to the suck success of farlight and how they destroyed a well made game. Take fortnite for example no really liked it at first because building while fighting was a new thing but look at it now. Farlight had jetpacks which I loved, my aim is bad but good movement help me to stay in the top ranks now the game feels dull and I'm literally waiting for something new to release so I can have something new to play in 😭😭😭😭 sorry farlight I dont know if you can win me back but you have the ball what's your next step
I was a semi-professional call of duty player during the jetpack era. I played a little far light for early in the game's life cycle. I came back and was terrible and couldn't figure out what was different and why I was playing poorly. My movement skill went to waste. That is why I wasn't playing as well. Rip
I Uninstalled the game just yesterday, i held hopes until i realized they just don't care for players, I'm done with that. It was a great journey while it lasted, I'll miss the old days.... goodbye Farlight, you used to be a good game, now you are just a bad attempt of Battle Royale.
They need to understand that there are many other options available in the market and if they don't listen to the community people will simply move on to other games.
Hello Everyone 🤗 I will always remember Farlight 84 as one of my favorite games in the Google playstore. I am an introverted person scared to socialize sometimes but I make lots of friends in the Farlight 84 game, it helps me build my confidence to make more friends and I will always remember the countless laughter and failures and wins we have. I play Farlight not just because of the game but also make friends and give a healthy impact to others I am very kind with everyone even though I sometimes experience trash talkers in the game. I still show kindness and love. I stay playing Farlight 84 everyday because I have hopes that it will get better and improve. I know it's just the beginning and I believe they will improve the game. I can give 100% guarantee that all Dedicated players are just waiting for some new alternative .... Many dedicated players bought jetpacks & trails....Now its like they wasted loads of money ... But Farlight does not care..... I was a dedicated player since 2021 & i had convinced many many players to try out farlight 84.. Now i too feel cheated..... The replies from devs clearly shows their attitude towards players.... Farlight devs think that now they are so big that everyone will have to adjust to the changes... This video brings memories and makes me sad. Sadly Farlight 84 without jetpacks is not Farlight. Farlight is gone, there's nothing for me in the new game that retains the Farlight 84 name. The start of the downfall was Captain's new skin, this is when it became evident that the devs didn't know what the players wanted. Bye Farlgiht 84, RIP.

I was one of the original beta testers for farlight 84, and I can testify that the game was one which was at its peak in early 2023. Although I was not playing the game when it decided to remove jetpacks entirely, I agree that the decision removed the entirety of its identity from itself.(Personally, I'm more pissed that they removed the mechanic character)
i'm on the edge of leaving the game too, the very season the jetpacks were remove i actually did quit but this season i decided to play farlight again, it is still fun but it is also very lonely.
I thought sliding would make me interested in the game again but the opposite happened, I only went to warm-up mode to test the sliding but it did not convince me to come back because sliding is in many games I've played and I didn't feel any difference from other games, hhh I wish FL84 cared about it's OGs, the people who supported the game from the start

As a beginner in shooting game, this game brought me so much joy. It was beginner friendly and was so addictive and fun. I'm so sad with the update. Played since last year before they ruined everything. Even got all my girlfriends to play and we all loved it so much. We would meet up in cafes and everyone would just open farlight and game for hours. Even got friends from other game to download FL. Made so many new friends in Farlight, even had our own Discord group so we could all come online and set a time to play as a squad. After they removed jetpack and all the other stupid updates, not lying, EVERYONE left the game. My Discord is quiet now. Such a disappointment. I started playing FL again last month, its just not the same anymore :'(
I was playing it even before the news of apex legends mobile ban in it's early access version. It was not optimized but the jetpack gameplay was mind blowing fast paced and new to mobile😢
They need to bring back jet packs without it farlight 84 doesn't feel like home to me. I left the game a few weeks ago. I will be back only if they bring back the jet packs.
it's not about jetpacks. it's about changing the whole environment visuals to a cheap copy of fortnite. and then the characters are also changed to a sick cartoon which doesn't look good. the older graphics were really good. I literally quite it after playing the new version for only 5 minutes
EXACTLY! damn I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one who misses the old designs it was so beautiful and full of promise it was an apocalyptic world with interesting characters a real survivor vibe with landscapes of cities in poetic ruins and now with each new design I have the impression that we are moving further and further away from the incredible aesthetic that we were promised, which is why I supported this game 90% and has given way to new design shipped quickly to give a constant feeling of novelty to the player except that in the end the game lost all its style which surpassed Fortnite which in my opinion is not very beautiful aesthetically speaking farlight was the perfect happy medium not too cartoonish not too realistic just enough to seem fun in the long term but nah they destroyed everything for poor skins and the new map which is much too cartoonish they lost the original designers and we can feel it they are so stupid not to notice it half of it's succes came from that for shure so sad

They removed jetpacks and again they added jetpacks for some heroes like Maggie, Murphy and other ones. So it'll be a crash between players during hero selection. Who wants to play with Maggy. Afterall that one hero is like unchanged. They should remove all jetpack of vertical and horizontal. Current jet slide is like nothing. It's just normal slide.

I think jetslide will help, but they still need to include and retain the use of jetpack especially it is included in their character design that they wear and use jetpack. They have to look at New State mobile, they included jetpacks now and now they have the ability to fly. That is why they have to still include and retain at least one jetpack skill, maybe vertical jetpack since they added jetslide already, especially that their game is the one who pioneered the use of jetpacks in battle royale. Also, they have to make it easier for us especially for new players, it will be more difficult if there would be two tactical skill, just make it one tactical skill. So it will be like having 3 active skill, one jetpack skill (vertical), one tactical skill, and one ultimate skill. In this way, they would still be keeping jetpacks that we all fell in love and it will be easier for all of us to understand and play especially for new players since the jetpack skill will only be one and will act as a skill so it will be easier to understand and there would be cooldown so that it won't be used too often. Also maybe they can add passive skill for the same type of hero so that each hero would somehow still have a passive skill because I know it would be difficult in the future to think and make a new passive skill for each new heroes. So in summary, the addition of jetslide, including or retaining one jetpack skill (vertical), having one tactical skill, having one ultimate skill, and having the same passive skill for the same type of hero, will save the game and players will comeback to play the game. This would surely improve their rating because players will be happy that they brought back jetpack that we fall in love, at the same time would be much easier for new players to understand and play the game.

I Remember when I couldn’t get my friends to,play Apex Mobile anymore. They said “nah its too sweaty” 😢 😂 and truth be told their new player experience was far too tough for them, and there was no sbmm in the end because the player base was soo small we would always face pro status players every match.

From what I can tell the game is still thriving.it has some cons but hey not every game is perfect. But there are exceptions for example "warzone" which was a massive failure from the day it was released.
I was on and off with this game as I am for most competitive games I play. (Reason being that I play until I get the Season skin/reward and f*ck off 'til next season. 🤣) I honestly don't give a sh*t back then when they removed the Jetpacks as I was trying to be fair, but after trying out the new update for a week or two after it's release, I sympathize with those asking for it's return. It is a very bad decision on their part, and their justification for it is probably the most moronic sh*t I've heard in a long while. 🧐 Like, we've been there once, at least optimize it for them. Not outright remove them. It doesn't help the fact that their new map at the time is a direct rip off of some of Apex's maps just merged together. And yes, I know with their aesthetic, Jet Slide is just a direct rip off from Apex. I quit for a while and return just to see what's up, and for some reason, it got even worse. 🧐 What once was a fast paced match was now so d*mn sluggish, that every single aspect of it is so d*mn slow. Cars, guns, abilities, hell! Even walking has become slow, and I thought that wasn't possible. I just gave up entirely and quit for good. Will I come back? Depends. Until they get their sh*t together (which is highly unlikely at this point, considering how it's been 7 months now and they seem dead set on threading the path to their own destruction. 🤷) or if something interesting is gonna pique my interest, which is highly unlikely considering the sh*t they've been doing. I tried this recently. Very optimized for my low-end PC though. Also, it feels kinda like PUBG. The only problems I have with this are the weapon list and player limit. The weapons don't feel authentic, unlike in many other shooting games. Also, some are hard to separate from each other. And the 60-player limit in a match is too low imo, considering the size of the maps. And I also think that the idea of original jetpacks works better than the newer techniques.
Played since the beta was out and reached about lvl 80 while even the guns had skills like Ak-47 using unlimted ammo and M4 with the shield skill but they removed it and removed so many characters and it made the game annoying now so i uninstalled it and saw ur vid saying they removed jetpacks now😢😢
It still hurts me till this day Like my skills are mediocre, veru comparable to a beginner but the only thing that makes me able to dodge attacks and get kills at least are because of the jetpacks. I tried the game again and its so hard for me to dodge attacks anymore TwT
I started playing when farlight initially released..i really enjoyed it alot and even reached the highest rank. But life got in the way and i didn't played it for a long time. Untill yesterday i installed and wow to my surprise it felt like a totally new game. It seems almost they are trying to remove all the old things completely. Leave even the jetpacks, the new map is SO SO LAGGY that i and the othe players keep teleporting. And after the new update even the other maps started lagging, even if i set it in the lowest of the low graphics. it was impossible to get a hit, but in turn, i kept getting hit by them. one game frustrated me so much that i immediately uninstalled it without a doubt. until they bring back the November-December update, im not at all installing it.

This video brings memories and makes me sad. Sadly Farlight 84 without jetpacks is not Farlight. Farlight is gone, there's nothing for me in the new game that retains the Farlight 84 name. The start of the downfall was Captain's new skin, this is when it became evident that the devs didn't know what the players wanted.

I was one of the original beta testers for farlight 84, and I can testify that the game was one which was at its peak in early 2023.
Although I was not playing the game when it decided to remove jetpacks entirely, I agree that the decision removed the entirety of its identity from itself.(Personally, I'm more pissed that they removed the mechanic character)

And yeah jetpacks are really hard to utilize at first but overtime i get used to it. But then removing jetpack to make it easier to new players?
As a beginner in shooting game, this game brought me so much joy. It was beginner friendly and was so addictive and fun. I'm so sad with the update. Played since last year before they ruined everything. Even got all my girlfriends to play and we all loved it so much. We would meet up in cafes and everyone would just open farlight and game for hours. Even got friends from other game to download FL. Made so many new friends in Farlight, even had our own Discord group so we could all come online and set a time to play as a squad. After they removed jetpack and all the other stupid updates, not lying, EVERYONE left the game. My Discord is quiet now. Such a disappointment. I started playing FL again last month, its just not the same anymore :'(

I was playing it even before the news of apex legends mobile ban in it's early access version. It was not optimized but the jetpack gameplay was mind blowing fast paced and new to mobile😢

it's not about jetpacks. it's about changing the whole environment visuals to a cheap copy of fortnite. and then the characters are also changed to a sick cartoon which doesn't look good. the older graphics were really good. I literally quite it after playing the new version for only 5 minutes

EXACTLY! damn I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one who misses the old designs it was so beautiful and full of promise it was an apocalyptic world with interesting characters a real survivor vibe with landscapes of cities in poetic ruins and now with each new design I have the impression that we are moving further and further away from the incredible aesthetic that we were promised, which is why I supported this game 90% and has given way to new design shipped quickly to give a constant feeling of novelty to the player except that in the end the game lost all its style which surpassed Fortnite which in my opinion is not very beautiful aesthetically speaking farlight was the perfect happy medium not too cartoonish not too realistic just enough to seem fun in the long term but nah they destroyed everything for poor skins and the new map which is much too cartoonish they lost the original designers and we can feel it they are so stupid not to notice it half of it's succes came from that for shure so sad

They removed jetpacks and again they added jetpacks for some heroes like Maggie, Murphy and other ones. So it'll be a crash between players during hero selection. Who wants to play with Maggy. Afterall that one hero is like unchanged. They should remove all jetpack of vertical and horizontal.

I think jetslide will help, but they still need to include and retain the use of jetpack especially it is included in their character design that they wear and use jetpack. They have to look at New State mobile, they included jetpacks now and now they have the ability to fly. That is why they have to still include and retain at least one jetpack skill, maybe vertical jetpack since they added jetslide already, especially that their game is the one who pioneered the use of jetpacks in battle royale. Also, they have to make it easier for us especially for new players, it will be more difficult if there would be two tactical skill, just make it one tactical skill. So it will be like having 3 active skill, one jetpack skill (vertical), one tactical skill, and one ultimate skill. In this way, they would still be keeping jetpacks that we all fell in love and it will be easier for all of us to understand and play especially for new players since the jetpack skill will only be one and will act as a skill so it will be easier to understand and there would be cooldown so that it won't be used too often. Also maybe they can add passive skill for the same type of hero so that each hero would somehow still have a passive skill because I know it would be difficult in the future to think and make a new passive skill for each new heroes. So in summary, the addition of jetslide, including or retaining one jetpack skill (vertical), having one tactical skill, having one ultimate skill, and having the same passive skill for the same type of hero, will save the game and players will comeback to play the game. This would surely improve their rating because players will be happy that they brought back jetpack that we fall in love, at the same time would be much easier for new players to understand and play the game.

I Remember when I couldn’t get my friends to,play Apex Mobile anymore. They said “nah its too sweaty” 😢 😂 and truth be told their new player experience was far too tough for them, and there was no sbmm in the end because the player base was soo small we would always face pro status players every match.

From what I can tell the game is still thriving.it has some cons but hey not every game is perfect. But there are exceptions for example "warzone" which was a massive failure from the day it was released.
I was on and off with this game as I am for most competitive games I play. (Reason being that I play until I get the Season skin/reward and f*ck off 'til next season. 🤣) I honestly don't give a sh*t back then when they removed the Jetpacks as I was trying to be fair, but after trying out the new update for a week or two after it's release, I sympathize with those asking for it's return. It is a very bad decision on their part, and their justification for it is probably the most moronic sh*t I've heard in a long while. 🧐 Like, we've been there once, at least optimize it for them. Not outright remove them. It doesn't help the fact that their new map at the time is a direct rip off of some of Apex's maps just merged together. And yes, I know with their aesthetic, Jet Slide is just a direct rip off from Apex. I quit for a while and return just to see what's up, and for some reason, it got even worse. 🧐 What once was a fast paced match was now so d*mn sluggish, that every single aspect of it is so d*mn slow. Cars, guns, abilities, hell! Even walking has become slow, and I thought that wasn't possible. I just gave up entirely and quit for good. Will I come back? Depends. Until they get their sh*t together (which is highly unlikely at this point, considering how it's been 7 months now and they seem dead set on threading the path to their own destruction. 🤷) or if something interesting is gonna pique my interest, which is highly unlikely considering the sh*t they've been doing. They literally dug and put themselves in their own graves. 🧐

I tried this recently. Very optimized for my low-end PC though. Also, it feels kinda like PUBG. The only problems I have with this are the weapon list and player limit. The weapons don't feel authentic, unlike in many other shooting games. Also, some are hard to separate from each other. And the 60-player limit in a match is too low imo, considering the size of the maps. And I also think that the idea of original jetpacks works better than the newer techniques.
For the most people, it's quiet the opposite haha! But I'm happy for you tho.

Played since the beta was out and reached about lvl 80 while even the guns had skills like Ak-47 using unlimted ammo and M4 with the shield skill but they removed it and removed so many characters and it made the game annoying now so i uninstalled it and saw ur vid saying they removed jetpacks now😢😢

I started playing when farlight initially released..i really enjoyed it alot and even reached the highest rank. But life got in the way and i didn't played it for a long time. Untill yesterday i installed and wow to my surprise it felt like a totally new game. It seems almost they are trying to remove all the old things completely. I don't even feel abit of nostalgia playing😢.

Thanks for such a good video. But truly f84 had such a good mechanic and the decision they made on the start of the year damn that gave me apex vibes of devs not being in line with the community. For the ones who still play the game enjoy it but it just feels boring atm

Leave even the jetpacks, the new map is SO SO LAGGY that i and the othe players keep teleporting. And after the new update even the other maps started lagging, even if i set it in the lowest of the low graphics. it was impossible to get a hit, but in turn, i kept getting hit by them. one game frustrated me so much that i immediately uninstalled it without a doubt. until they bring back the November-December update, im not at all installing it.
