- I had the opportunity to make this video for a class project. With the help of a friend and video mentor Ryan Dean, we were able to create a video about serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
This was an amazing experience and a lot of fun to but together, I hope all that watch can get and idea of what these amazing young men go through on a daily basis.
It’s been said the best 2 years and although I can’t claim that to be absolutely true, it was definitely the best bedrock for a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ and I absolutely loved it!
God Bless all The Missionaries!
Im glad a member of the church. Thanks to these awesome missionaries they opened my eyes to the gospel and l got baptized. Now lm blessed now, l look up to these boys..
Love the missionaries!
I’m not a religious, but I think those boys are just trying to spread something good. They deserve respect.
As a former LDS missionary myself, yes we had the best of intentions to help people. Sadly the entire message was bull.
They're not spreading anything good, just shilling for a $250 billion organization.
@@DougVandegrifthow is helping people have a better life “bull”?
@@academyofchampions1 The message is bull. That's what I said. Ya know, the whole Joseph Smith translated gold plates found in a hill. He lied about all that. But to address your comment. Is lying and deception make things right if they make a better life for the person who believes in the deception? Maybe. However my life has been multiple times better after leaving. Also every person in my family who is still a believing member is on some kind of anti-depressant. Whereas everyone in my family who left and live more authentic lives aren't on such medications anymore. Personally I believe you can do what you want and believe in what you want. However the mormon leadership continues to lie, cheat and steal from its members. The SCC scandal for example, lying to both the government and it's tithe paying members about the hoard of wealth it has. That's dishonest. Gas lighting members about doctrine. I'm so happy to be done and out of that global corporate real-estate organization disguised as a religion.
Great!!
When they left with the bikes they didn’t turn off the lights at their house!
Turn it off.. like a light switch ;)
@@MaddisonCann ha ha
Heavenly Father does it for them, duh!
Wait, are they highlighting with a crayon?
I think because highlighters can bleed through the page.
Because the Mormon Church is too cheap to spring for a highlighter!
Highlighter fumes are forbidden!
Come to ZION
These poor kids… I hope they find a way out one day.
Is there a difference between the Holy Bible and the book of Mormon???
yes. the book of Mormon is completely different than the Holy Bible. it’s basically two different religions. the Bible teaches that Jesus is God, but Mormons (and the book of mormon) deny the diety of Christ.
@@reataylor What the heck? First of all, Jesus is not God, Jesus is the SON of God and our exemplar, perfect and older brother. Second, we, the mormons (preferable, call us LDS), do NOT deny the "diety" of Christ, we love our Savior and our Heavenly Father, and The Book of Mormon is ANOTHER (It just complement our studies about the gospel and the teachings of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ) testament of Jesus Christ, we DO believe in the Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price (all of these books are complements of our faith and DO NOT substitute the Holy Bible).
@@reataylor And another thing, the "mormon church" is called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Yes. The Book of Mormon borrows a lot from the Bible and at times utterly contradicts either the Bible or its other standard works. There’s internal and external evidence that it was contrived by Joseph Smith.
@@feldty Jesus is both the son of God and also God. Joseph Smith changed the bible in his translation in John 1 where the bible says Jesus is God from the beginning as well as other scriptures to suit Mormon theology.
