Great video, I have one question though. Have you experienced any coil whine on this card? I got an asus 3090 ti lc version and the coil whine can be heard across the room. Do you think this card is better?
Thanks so much for the video. Helping me make my choice while shopping. Loved your deadpanned sense of humor. I have to ask though why the arbitrary settings on the games? Such as disabling hair features and not maxing raytracing? Genuinely curious if I'm missing something as I'm trying to build a system that would support this card, not just bring the biggest spoon to a knife fight..
The settings are chosen to even the playing field for all graphics cards. For example, some hair effects, like PureHair will work better on AMD but lower the overall performance on NVIDIA graphics cards. RTX effects are good and will work on this graphics card for example, but on lower performance graphics cards, the RTX being on high or ultra will completely cripple the performance of the game with little visual improvement.
ROFL , love the humor the VGA is compared to the engine "almost as large as my engine" and then comparing the specs of the VGA to the engine - ROFLMAO . And NICE tear-down for us to see the card's innards!
@@TechLegend-com thank you maximum I see on my suprim x 3090ti is 75c but that’s in cyberpunk and I know that games very demanding so I guess it’s about right I thought it seemed high but maybe that’s just the way they are that’s why I was curious as to see what you got
I thing it's just a Asus problem. I had a EVGA 3070 ti, then a Asus 3080ti, then a EVGA 3090, and finally the msi 3090 ti suprim x. Asus was the only one that had terrible whine
@@raffi2287 Might be an issue only on certain models, who knows. The coil whine has been present on many brands and models, I think it's just luck at this point.
Even in a vertical mount, you will not get access to the slots, not for something big anyway. In addition, since most cases have glass side panels, you are removing all airflow from the fans of the graphics card and thus increasing its temperature.
@@TechLegend-com but this heavy thing needs very sturdy holder lol. So that’s why vertical is probably better. Airflow must be considered by MSI “engineers” lol keeping in mind it’s price🙄
@@alexanderunknown8605 You don't get my point. A vertical GPU mount will place the fans of the graphics card right next to the glass side panel, so there is no air to be moved through the heatsink.

Sorry for the late reply. This graphics card does NOT have any coil whine, at least in my case.

What person that buys a $2500+ GPU plays games in 1080p? Those benchmarks are useless

Thanks, glad you liked it! :)
This is exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you for this!
Glad you liked it! :)
It can fit a Corsair Carbidge 740 Air?
Which PSU did you use for the power consumption test?
I used a Seasonic Prime TX-1000.
Amazing review! Very interesting and funny lol
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the Super! :D
can you measure what's the exact length of this card, in hardware unboxed video he say its length is 305mm while on techpowerup its mentioned 338mm.
Just measured it, it's 338mm.
What was your temps in game
Depends on the game, on average it never went above 70 degrees Celsius.

@@va02gaming Until you hit 90 degrees, it's working fine. These Suprim coolers are actually quite good, even at low fan speeds.
pretty detailed! Thanks!

I love how you model it on a used car and scrap pallets.
Outdoor is the best!
Hi is there anyone they know is this card they have coil whine? I used to have Asus 3090 it’s a crazy coil whine
No coil whine so far, and the graphics card has been working non stop since the review.

This thing has the most amazing cooler I've ever seen.
True!
I think such fat cards must be installed vertically only, it’s idiotic to cover all the mobo space and slots by this.

As overpriced as possible👌🏻😂
As is the trend these days!
Odd introduction, might as well set it next to a bag of trash and slow pan it.
Sour grapes much?
