    Yes, thank you for this information, I am from the UK and am just now watching your UA-cam channel because I have stopped eating sugar, but I know that raw chocolate is very healthy and wanted to make my own. So I have not stopped eating Chocolate, I have found a company that produces 100% Cacao chocolate, but it is a lot more expensive than everyday chocolate, so the more I know about how to make my own the better. I have not bought your chocolate, but your brand is familiar to me, so it's working, well done.

      Their nibs are soaked in the liquid and then dried before grinding chocolate.

      I would add it to the sugar then bake out the water and alcohol at low temperature. Same with vanilla.

    Dylan I have been working on roasting coffee and infusing distilled liquors in the coffee. my question to you is do you infuse the liquor to the nibs before you grind or are you adding soy lecithin to keep the liquor to the chocolate?

    • @CraftChocolateTV
      @CraftChocolateTV  4 роки тому +4

      Hi Eric. Nibs are soaked in the liquor and then dried out before they are turned into chocolate. We don't add lecithin in our chocolate.

    • @fireman52596
      @fireman52596 4 роки тому +1

      CraftChocolateTV thank you so much. That’s exactly what I thought you were doing. One more question. Are you giving the liquor back to the distillery to sell as chocolate infused liquor? This was my thought here where I am. To link up with a distillery and work together with coffee and chocolate infused goodness.

    there are just certain marketing schemes that never really did pay out for most products, most of those outlets being traditional methods of buying ads. billboards suck for the bang for your buck, but they'll tell you otherwise, lol. print ads... nah. i'm not marketing guru, but imo you're better off saving that money for a store display... or anything else.
    i'm also definitely not a fan of promotional giveaways. it's fine when you're figuring out what flavours and such you want, but once you've decided on your product then be very careful what you give away for free. the promotional industry is full of such bullshittery it's hilarious, meanwhile you'll find things you give away are just things you never see a return on. might as well give a customer a free t-shirt or office desk doo-dad.
    that said, maybe there's some merit to giving away taste samples in some cases if you're able to get inside an appropriate store? even then the results are probably trivial and too local. you'll never find me giving away anything free, ever, to a 'social influencer,' which is a major pillar of the promotional industry in a way.
    when i can actually justify all this, there's an old mcdonald's sitting empty that would make for a good production place and retail, i think.
