Seems to me that The Gayle Way has resulted in 52K+ subscribers. I love your willingness to step forward with boldness to discover new ways to express yourself…it has encouraged this new journal creator to take steps in that direction also. Your easy manner and playfulness, and your sense of humor are so enjoyable. Thank you for being Gayle💕

As I used to remind my students..."If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything." As soon as I started that line, they'd all join in with a great emphasis on the last three words. So, I'm saying that for you, Gayle! You are amazing!

    Gayle,
Others get jealous and envy when creators let go and are free to be themselves and it shows in their creations. You are one of those beautiful hearts 🥰
I love everything you do, I love the path that you are taking and exploring. You are one of the creators that I consider beautiful inside and out.
Love always ❤️ and giant hugs 🤗
Also, your stencils and stenciling is very fun and uniquely you.

You are a beautiful spirit..a loving gentle soul who loves to share there journey through art. Keep in mind that sadly there are some very nasty people out among us. They seem to live for being rude and nasty. Feel sadness for them but do NOT let them draw you down with them. Your such fun!!!!!

Sweet lady, I watch your videos because of the joy in life and in creating that is evident in every word you say and everything you craft. Of course you do things differently from the way I do things. Also if I wanted to learn a technique, I can search for a course on that subject. I want to see what you can do with similar items. You have a great style, sense of color and composition that blows me away. I love sharing glimpses of your life. But most of all I love your kindness. Your sweet kindness and sunny outlook brighten my day each morning. Thank you for being part of my life.

Please lovely Gayle don't let them get to you, you show us and especially the newbies that it's more important to have fun in what we want to create rather then surching for the perfection of it. It makes me sad to think that there are people in this world that can only find joy by tearing others down. It's so easy for us to say, "Chin up, Gayle! We still love you!" Words truly can be mightier than the sword and can cut deeply into the joy that our art gives us. I've said it before and I'll say it again: You are PERFECTLY imperfect! You inspire me daily to go beyond my comfort zone. ❤️

I love my stencils. I make my own acrylic sprays with alcohol ink drops, rubbing alcohol, some drops of acrylic paint, old dried out sharpies, etc. I use what I have mixed with rubbing alcohol.
I rarely use anything for its "intended purpose" in the craft room. My coworkers are starting to learn I use things strangely.
I also use scraps of lace and doilies as stencils. Try mixing some coffee in a spray bottle too...fun times.

Gayle, I've never commented on any of your videos, but I watch you all the time! I just had to comment on this one! 😊 Your joy, and your kind heart are so apparent in every word you speak and in everything you do! Your love for your family, and your Subbies, and of art and all things crafty, are very apparent in everything you say and do!!! And for anyone out there who has complained, critiqued or just felt the need to comment in their own opinion about what you do, well, I pray for them, because they're just being opinionated, sad and taking themselves way too seriously! If they can't see what a beautiful person you are and what a fun and gifted crafter you are, and also how courageous you and so many others are, who get on here and put yourselves and your art out there for all the world to see, if they can't just enjoy it and admire and appreciate you, then that's all on them!!! They need to just turn off the video and keep their ugly words to themselves! One of the biggest reasons I watch you and others like you is because you don't make me feel like I have to be technical in every little aspect of what I do. I love your imagination and creativity! It gives us all that same freedom to have fun and be spontaneous with our art!! Thank you so much for all the times you've taught me something new! I appreciate you Gayle, much thanks and so much love!!! 😘

I'm one of the ones who doesn't care if it's "right" or not. Your word this year is "Play" and that's exactly what you're doing. Please don't let a few rude people dampen your beautiful spirit and cause you to stop making these videos. I know that the majority of us appreciate you and your videos. Watching them while crafting in my own space feels as if I have a friend crafting with me and is something I look forward to quite often. So, thank you for being you.

Dearest Gayle - You *are* an expert, in inspiring others. Not only do you have wonderful ideas, your joy in crafting and your lack of perfectionism makes us feel like we *can* try something, and if it doesn’t turn out exactly as we wanted, that’s okay too. For most of my life I have felt intimidated by artistic endeavors, thinking the end result wouldn’t be good enough. Since I’ve been watching you that attitude has been changing. I’ve decided that I too can just play - enjoying the creative process without worrying about anything but having fun. 😁. There are many experts in individual crafts, but very few people who can communicate the joy of creativity like you. Much love and gratitude. 🥰

Hi Gayle! There was only one perfect person and we are not him. I love your "play" videos! I like to think of Amish quilts when I think of perfection in art/craft, "to be perfect would be too boastful" and consider my imperfect art as my humility blocks. I for one would like to see more "play" videos and for you to do what you want to do Gail! ❤️ Much love and big hugs to you Gail!

I love it when you play. You’re helping me keep my crafting fun instead of deadly serious. The fun comes in little surprises because I’ve tried something new and different than I’d normally do. Even the pieces I’m not thrilled about I’ve learned to tear up for collage and if I don’t like it then it’s just paper and I can throw it away. Arty Maze taught me that gesso is my friend. I use it often to camouflage parts I don’t care for.

I love to watch your videos Gayle! The point of your videos is to inspire people! My thought is……..if people dont find your videos inspiring, then they should not watch. They also should not be mean! There is NEVER a reason to be mean! Keep crafting Gayle!!

Thank you for the fun experience today Gayle. The stencil painting is a great idea and really economical; just right for me. I have a batch of acrylic paints and paper ready to go. This video was really motivational. Just a side note. It is funny about the baby wipes. I have seen almost every journal maker using them; something I never would have thought of using for this purpose. Now I am thinking that people who make journals should buy shares in the companies manufacturing them. A good investment I think.

Lots of fun and beautiful surprises. I just love that lattice leaves stencil so I have tried several times over the last couple of years to find it but it is “bye-bye” for good.😫. Don’t let anyone pop your bubble Sweet Gayle. 👍🥰❤️

Beautiful stencil work!! I had my eyes dilated today so it took three times to see the whole wonderful process. The lace and the leaves with random marks were my favorites. Your joy overflows through your videos and inspires me and many subbies to try new things! Thanks for giving your time to help others. Love you💕🐬Monday night hugs

I did a stack of coffee dyed paper, my first! I’m thrilled with it, and now I have to go stencil on a sheet. The brown gives it an Asian flare for me. Love the way it’s turning out.

Yes, it's so good to get organized. I use binders too. I started with a 4 inch but it was massive, so I split them up. My larger ones, 12x12 are hanging up. This was such fun!

I’m loving the play! 👍 Watching today reminds me of things (stencils and paints) I haven’t used in ages. And they’re such fun! Rough day today for me, but Gayle is here to make the day a little brighter! Thank you! Always enjoy the visit! 💕💕

I find it extraordinary that some people think it is ok to criticise those who freely give of their time and knowledge - quite frankly they're the armchair experts that probably do nothing. Take no notice of the naysayers !!
Love your videos Gayle, as much for your chatter as for what you actually do. Love how you make each video different to the last and I've learned so much over the last couple of years. It's always a pleasure to learn from you. Take care from 'Down Under".
