Great idea Gayle! Definitely a success I would say. Hope you enjoyed your retreat. Hugs, Amy💕💕💕
I like the idea of cutting off the back side. It reduces bulk plus you don’t have to cover the inside of the envelope. Great job! ‘Til tomorrow.
Great idea! So much easier and faster than having to cover all the little areas on the envelope itself, and I like the looks of the envelope uncovered. Great way to use up some scrapbook cardstock too! Definitely a winner, Gayle!
I absolutely love these. They are so versatile. I like the idea of mass making them and then leaving them plain until you are ready to place them in a journal. Thank you for sharing Gayle.
These turned out so cool. So far I think I like this way of using envelopes the best.
Having another pocket idea is always fun!! Thanks for sharing!♥️😍
Wow Gayle, you have given us a really neat idea to use up some of those pesty junk mail envelopes that just keep coming! I feel guilty when I throw them away. Making see thru pockets is fabulous. Thank you so much for your continuing inspiration. Hugs from Texas
Such a great idea! Tim Holtz paper goes so well in these projects! Now I have to go coffee dye old the old envelope stack I have, and I’ll try it out. Learning new things, and forming my own ideas with every wonderful video.
I truly love these pockets. Thanks for sharing these ideas. I sure hope you're enjoying your retreat. Sending big hugs Sherry
I love the envelope pockets that you made today. I agree, can’t have too many pockets!
I certainly have enjoyed watching you put together the windowed envelopes. I’ve stored many because of the background papers, beforeI began junk journaling. Lately, I’ve had a ball with the window sides! Thanks for all the inspiration, Gayle.
Very good idea and very pretty combinations. Also so kind of you to load videos for when you're gone, enjoy your time away. Vicki
I really like the one with the man in the top hat! Really attractive color blend.
Love this idea. It's a great way to use the window envelopes
Love scrappy Saturday always like reusing envelopes
Fabulous way to recycle ♻️ gorgeous style as usual 😍❤️
Love this idea of using envelopes as pockets! Now I just need to start saving envelopes 👍 Thx again for another great idea 💡💕
Inlove with the pockets they are really easy and so cool.
One of my favorite ideas! I have a stack of window envelopes from junk mail.
Now I can do something with the window envelope I have saved‼️Great ideas Gayle, a success for sure 👍
These are adorable and a great idea for using up some of those scraps and window envelopes! Thanks for sharing.
Hello Gayle, what a wonderful idea to using the window envelopes. It is an awesome idea and, once again, you have had a success. It is a fabulous idea and you are an inspiring lady. Your gentle way of demonstrating and also your delightful laugh are an absolute tonic and I love all your videos. Scrappy Saturday is a lovely idea, showing us what to do with the bits and bobs we have either left over from previous projects, and, or, our "junk" mail. Thank you for sharing and I do hope you had a wonderful retreat. Looking forward to hearing all about it and also seeing the results. Blessings and hugs as always from Cape Town. Stay safe and well. Diana
Thanks so much, dear Diana! ❤️
Really like these! A little different and good use of the envelopes. Thank you!
I really like this idea. A different way to use envelops. I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing this idea with us.
Hello Gayle and Happy Scrappy Saturday! Our 2022 Blizzard is finally over, got 19 inches of snow today and freezing temperatures. Crafting days ahead and thanks for sharing this idea. 👍❄️❄️❄️☃️
Love love love these pockets and tags💜💜💜
I really liked how these turned out - great idea.
Love the pockets! Great idea to use up those big scraps. Keep creating Gayle!
I love the Tim Holtz with the man. They are all beautiful, but that one is really cool.
Great idea! My husband said I have “quite the collection” of these types of envelopes too. 🤣🤷🏻♀️. So, I appreciate another idea on how to use them. Also, when you made the comment about you don’t know how those people can steal others art work, I thought, “the same way they can scam our seniors and steal our identities”. 😞 Some evil people out in the great big world, which is why I like this community… for the most part people try to build each other up and not tear down. 🥰
I absolutely love your scrappy Saturdays. 👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this idea Mrs. Gayle. Really cute way to use those envelopes. Those die cut flowers add a lot of interest. Great video my friend. TFS and crafty hugs.
These envelopes with tags turned out beautiful. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us! I hope you hada great time at your retreat.

Love these. I kind of like the flower on the outside of the envelope too.
You are a smarty pants - this was such a good use of window envelopes. Thanks for the idea.
Thank you for all your UA-cam videos. I don’t always comment but always watch you as soon as I get up in the morning. The reason no comments is that I watch on the big tv screen in the lounge or the smaller one in my craft room. Anyways know I love your work.
Thanks so much, Sally! ❤️

It’s so much fun :)
I will definitely keep saving window envelopes more than ever.
I love seeing how much fun and how relaxed your “paper play” has become.
Great pocket idea, Gayle!
This is such an awesome idea! I'm so happy you shared it with all of us! Thank you! I have sooooo many of those envelopes! I was just thinking the other day that I need to get around to playing with them and making some pockets. Sometimes I have so many projects going at once I don't know what to work on. I really have to get used to having unfinished projects laying around. I'm one that likes to finish a.project before I start more otherwise I'm afraid I'll never get back to some of them, if you know what I mean.
Hi Gayle - love these! Instead of putting that last piece in your to-do box you could add it to your idea journal. 😁 I love that your focus is on play this year. I already see a change in your demeanor (can you say that about a voice? 🧐🤣). You seem more relaxed, and your creativity is just busting out all over the place. 😁🥰
I like this idea. Thanks so much for sharing.
Every time you say hi and hugs to Debbie… I wait for Ebbiebobebbie but not yet, lol, hopefully someday I will get a Gayle shout-out!
Love your stuff, hon, always so cheery and optimistic.
Yes those papers you showed at the beginning one of the packs were mine , which the Chinese mass produced for sale, yes very upsetting for sure xx
I'm so sorry this happened to you!! 😔😠
Damn!
Beautiful creations!!!
Great project Gayle. Makes using the coffee dyed envelops easier to use and so much faster. I like the look of the coffee dye, simple and stylish. Imam going to make some tomorrow. Barb Pacific NW
Love the pockets!
Great idea! Love these. I have soooo many recycled envelopes!
Great idea on how to use up the junk mail envelopes… it’s interesting how you cut out the backside to make the gusset. I was thinking you could use the end cuts to make an accordion pocket like Tracie Fox did this week.
Magnifiques joli projet pour les junks , merci Gayle.
Great pockets! We’re in the middle of a major blizzard in the northeast! Expecting 2-3 feet! 🥶🌨❄️
Fun 😊 Pockets!!🤩
Gayle, calling this idea a “success” is definitely a misnomer.…it is pure GENIUS! I’ve been saving window envelopes for months from our own mail and I have family members saving them for me as well thinking you would do a feature on them soon. I am so enamored with this technique! THANK YOU…THANK YOU…THANK YOU! Can you tell what I’ll be doing this weekend? ✉️ ❤️
