i have a cooper s 2009 stock. been thinking to get a 16x7or8 with 205/40or45r16. will you recommend this? set ups. maybe later getting a lowering spring...
this video doesn't cover the Gen 1 Mini, more specifically the R53 Cooper S, would be fantastic if you guys could do a stand alone video for that model. Thanks
It’s really sad that most people just forget about the real 1gen mini. That’s the best one IMO. Smaller than the new boats. Supercharged. Functional hood scoop. 😂 I’ve been trying to find Union Jack taillights for the R53 and it appears there’s aftermarket one for the R56 and nothing for R53. When I finally found some by Helix on sale this year. The R53 lights are double the price. 😭
@@jaredharari9410 nope infact these measurements are based on stock suspension if using aftermarket suspension you might need spacers based on what brand you pick
Thank you boss. I’ve been trying to figure out the correct offset for my wheels on my R53. I’m starting my search for aftermarket wheels and really just want a nice flush setup. 😊
thanks for this video. used the info you gave and did the 17x8 +35 with 215/45-17. will be going through it & throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it. this inclues coil overs . car looks great but the drop will be the big test. ❤
Mini r53 with APEX 17x8 ET25 , front no problem , but rear rubbing when load pax , or bump roads .... any idea to fix it ( suspension is stock and ok) thanks 🍻
Any recs for a heavily pot-holed city? I'm about to give up this 2012 mini due to busting FOUR of the factory run flat tires. It's painful to drive this car here! 😂
Try 15" non-run flat tires. That is what I did and I like it a lot. I also bought some 15 inch wheels that look like the wheels on many original Minis . The original 16" tires and run flats were were stolen....I like the new wheels and tires much better....
Hey, I'm new to this. I have a Mini One D 1.6 90BHP from 2014, I absolutely love that car and I desperately want to know what are the biggest wheels/rims I can put on it. Can you guys help me?

My car is a 2016 Mini JCW F56 and its going to be lowered with NM springs front 1.30 & rear 1.22 I want to get some 18X8 wheels but I'm not sure on the offset and tire size for no rub or at least small rub on bumps would be ok, I do like the wider wheel/tire look, so what size you think?
Check out our gallery! You’ll see what others are running on the same car! Each gallery post will have wheel specs and fitment specs! -> www.fitmentindustries.com/search-wheel-offset-gallery
i changed my mini 2010 r56 wheels from 15"to 17"wheels and rims and the tires pressure indicators would'nt goes off, though I removed and reinstall them on the new rims. Anybody to help with that?

2:38 nice wheels but it would really help if you could write a text overlay and give us the proper names and types… or even links to a shopin the description… can you write me the exact name of the wheel here ?!
I think bigger is supposed to be better. However, when the factory 16" white wheels and run flat tires which came with my R50 were stolen I replaced them with 15"' 5 spoke wheels which look a lot like the wheels often seen on the original Mini .. I get a lot of good comments on the wheels, and they make the ride a bit smoother. The wheel openings are filled nicely with less wheel and more tire. I got an excellent deal ordering them from Discount Tire and they came mounted and balanced..............
I have owned 3 coopers and am buying a third. Was just gifted a first gen and am disappointed that every car you just shown was just a second GEN variation. First GEN coopers are the dogs balls and you did not show a Countryman or paceman.
You highlight 2nd gen, when most of those turd Prince engines have put them into the junk yards....There are more 1st gen's on the road today....despite their being older. Just sayin.

They’re all 4x100, if youre worried and need a video to see if they’ll have the right ‘fitment’ then you’re not handy enough with a grinder and dremel
If you want the perfect fitment for the 1st gen coopers then go 17" 8 ET 35 with 215/45/17 tyres 👌

Add some more camber and trim off the inside of the wheel arch trim.

They are both a 4x100 bolt pattern! Just check if you’ll need hub centric rings!
