Eh I was fine watching it on a phone, and I have a 12 mini. Just had to look closely at some stuff. Or I could have just chilled and listened sometimes I do that when I get lost in the rules of a game and I just let it go and relax
oh my gosh, I did not expect a combination of a programming+conveyor game, lol there's a cool game called Great Permutator that seems to resemble the particular conveyor mechanics a bit (mostly having to apply stuff resembling recoloring the inputs). the wires in the logic portion remind me of music synthesizers with all the wires everywhere lmao - now I want to see some sort of music-related programming-style game
its possible to do the wine level without the sorter with some shenanigans by having the tray block the glass and filling it while it waits :3 i have an 8t/$59k solution on that puzzle
I absolutely love this. Skeuomorphic design involving plugging wires into inputs and knobs and stuff is absolutely my kind of thing. Reminds me of modular synthesisers.
Something you could do to solve the face cam covering content issue is record both separately and have the video editor decide where's the best place to put the face cam. I see many youtubers do this to great success.
This is a very interesting game. There seems to be a lot of potential for lore and hidden secrets. I fully expect it to break the 4th wall at one point and go full 3d Inscryption style
Food Court is easily the biggest of the 'mini' games in the collection, and is worth playing all the way through. After you check them all out at least once, of course.
PLEASE play this all as a series and include the thought process!! I don't care about the solution, I'm playing it now and will always be 1 lvl ahead but I like to see how YOU think it out after i've completed it!!
I'm enjoying these mini games far more than I thought I would. Definitely hoping to see more of both of these in the future and 3xcited to see what the other games may be.
The food minigame reminds me a lot of The Signal State. I played that game recently and really enjoyed it. I think it would be a great fit for this channel
Believe that you can save a conveyor belt on the last level by moving the stack/pour mechanism down one tile and moving the wine glass dispenser down and to the left.
If you really love this minigame then you really need to play the other Zachtronics game called "Infinifactory". It has a lot of automation, construction, product building stuff in it. It's a super cool game and I would love to see how you approach the literal tons of levels that game has to offer.
Would love to see you keep playing this game - -first time in a long time I've watched a video on youtube and bought the game - almost beat it now and trying to find more like it!
I have a feeling the wine level shave is by removing the 3rd counter. The 3rd counter functions as the iterator of a for loop that only has to loop once, while the other two indicate which drink isn’t being poured with a negative 1 (if you switch it to start at 1 and subtract when the sensor inputs this would make more sense). The iterator needs to start at 1 and you have an indicator that already starts at 1… just use the indication counter as an iterator for the loop and you can remove the 3rd counter entirely. If you pour red wine, the left counter indicates it’s red with the 0 signal and the right counter is used as the iterator, and vice versa for the red drink…
I see Zachtronics couldn't resist adding yet another flavor of Zachtronics factory assembly game into this collection of games. I'm not complaining, though, I just thought it was kinda funny.
You use the counters differently than I do. I add a positive value and then subtract one each time, where you add a negative value at the beginning then add one each time. This works out the same for these counters, but later you get more advanced counters that your method may not work for (as they have both zero and positive outputs), although your method may work for certain circumstances.
Zachtronic games are the best puzzle games. They always become very intricate after a while... then you finish the main story, and there's always a second campaign for hard-core puzzlers. (never finished these ones, way too hard!)
Awesome to see you playing Zachtronics games, my personal favourite puzzle game dev. Maybe you should check out their other games, Shenzhen I/O or TIS-100. They're more programming-oriented, but they're still understandable without any prior knowledge (like myself). Great content as always, keep up the good work :)
Unrelated to the video, but since UA-cam now allows video clips, I have a clip of Tyler freaking out about basic math (from Understand) Clip link for those interested ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxzYCwNRH3JGSfI8S-eArCGIOCxgBfkuOO
If you enjoy this minigame, I HIGHLY recommend Atomachef, it's another conveyor-programming hybrid with cooking, and the puzzles are well-designed (with some challenging optional side-levels)!
lmao they made PLC programming into game. I like how some puzzle games just take an idea of actual job like PLC preogramming and they turn it into game.
There’s a tendency of you liking and playing “programming” games, what did you study again? Cuz I have the same interest in this type of games and im about to go to uni, so I was wondering what career I could take on, and I thought maybe yours could be a good idea
This was actually the easiest of the 3 programming games in my opinion. Chip Wizard is my favorite out of all of them though. That one is scored by the square of the space you occupy on the lower layer. The path was interesting but I feel like it only became enjoyable once I got to the last 6 levels and discovered how to split flesh.
I love this game but I also feel like I'm too stupid for it. The ice cream puzzle is kicking my ass; I almost have a solution but I need one extra rack slot to do it.
Eh I was fine watching it on a phone, and I have a 12 mini. Just had to look closely at some stuff. Or I could have just chilled and listened sometimes I do that when I get lost in the rules of a game and I just let it go and relax
Good to know! I was just worried about the small UI is all.
@@Aliensrock honestly most people just watch on phone but you explain everything well enough that it’s alright
Yeah anyone with a high enough res should be fine reading everything. I didn't have a problem reading anything
Yea Tyler explain everything clearly so I get the gist of it by just listening to him. I do read some of flavor (heh) text but I just pause for it.
Award for good explaining hard things went to aliensrock!
This game sure does give you the proper experience of messing around with shitty archaic systems and machines and getting them to work…
Ahhh, legacy systems, how we all hate them.
oh my gosh, I did not expect a combination of a programming+conveyor game, lol

Reason was the first thing the thumbnail image called to mind.
You might check out a game "The Signal State" for more "synthesizer" puzzles
magnum opus but with food.
Hi icely
if you tweak your brain enough sound design is just a big puzzle
A new aliensrock just dropped, day is already going great.
my day is too
Yup
Would definitely like to see you work through the rest of this particular mini-game.
its possible to do the wine level without the sorter with some shenanigans by having the tray block the glass and filling it while it waits :3
i have an 8t/$59k solution on that puzzle
wait a minuite. Did you just type 80 by actually putting an 8 and T

I do love a good factory-building game

This is boring. I want tyler to stretch the webcam across any negative space live with no respect to aspect ratios or actual viewer enjoyment.
Yeah but we'll miss shenanigan like tall or wide tyler then
I mean he was streaming it wasn't he?
Thats actually the way it used to be done by everyone. OBS with live scene edits wasn't around or heavily used a few years ago xD
@@dhpz editor can make wide and tall tyler easily
Zachtronics is one of my favorite developers. Hit after hit of making programming interesting
This is a very interesting game. There seems to be a lot of potential for lore and hidden secrets. I fully expect it to break the 4th wall at one point and go full 3d Inscryption style
I love the aesthetics of this "game." Makes me want to okay all sorts of top down pixelated games.
Gotta be honest chief, I don't understand this one at all. But I'm glad you're enjoying it
Food Court is easily the biggest of the 'mini' games in the collection, and is worth playing all the way through.

hey keep those going, this one looks like an amazing game on its own
All of these BBS games are like super high quality flash games and I love it
The food minigame reminds me a lot of The Signal State. I played that game recently and really enjoyed it. I think it would be a great fit for this channel
Food so good you might even say it’s a magnum opus
This minigame series is super cool and great to watch!
Believe that you can save a conveyor belt on the last level by moving the stack/pour mechanism down one tile and moving the wine glass dispenser down and to the left.
This subgame from Last Call BBS is my favorite so far. It's like programming with modular rack synthesizers.
I didn't understand anything about what you did but I don't like the idea of not having more videos of this game, is awesome.
I love modular synthesizers! There is game "The Signal State" that you should like.
If you really love this minigame then you really need to play the other Zachtronics game called "Infinifactory". It has a lot of automation, construction, product building stuff in it. It's a super cool game and I would love to see how you approach the literal tons of levels that game has to offer.
Optimizing for space will drain your life away. So many little tricks to discover.
infinifactory hurts my brain and makes it feel good at the same time
Definitely enjoying this game (and the various minigames). Would love to see more.
I don't know why these machine assembly puzzle games have suddenly started becoming popular, but I'm all for it.
This is surprisingly accurate to the times.
Would love to see you keep playing this game - -first time in a long time I've watched a video on youtube and bought the game - almost beat it now and trying to find more like it!

i think its just saving one conveyer belt but that sounds smarter
Not even a minute into a public event and I want nothing more than "It's time to disappear". Love it.
Man, I hope this programming + assembling concept gets further expanded on, cuz this was a lotta fun I had while playing this.
Wabadababada huh? I dont understand a single second of this game but i still loved every second of this video
I never thought I would see the day that someone would turn Eurorack into a puzzle game, but here we are.
Doing the entirety of this mini game would be amazing and I hope you do
"I recommend watching this on a non-phone" Please I already don't know what you're doing
Loved the video! This game is very similar to opus magnum, i would love to see a playthrough of both!
I'd love to see the whole playthrough too, ngl I'm really enjoying this one
I see Zachtronics couldn't resist adding yet another flavor of Zachtronics factory assembly game into this collection of games. I'm not complaining, though, I just thought it was kinda funny.
Wowzaaaa, they had the whole cracktro, that brings back memories of the young years

I like how the control bank looks like a eurorack modular synthesizer.
Man, I really want this game/game combo thing. Specifically for this game. Crazy
you see the thumbnail and know its a new Zach game.
This dude singlehandedly forged a gerne I say.
I loved this game and didn't have any problem watching the logic part on my phone
Zachtronic games are the best puzzle games.

lol, this is exactly like the engineering programing environment Labview
This mini game reminds me of the signal state
love this game so much
Love your vids
wow, this is a great way to learn modular functions & signal flow. If you know how to do this, you know how to make music on a rack or in Max/Beap!
for that last wine one, could you not have just made it cheaper by moving everything a bit further down and using less conveyer belts?
the tray input is forced to be on the top while the output is forced to be on the bottom
more of this minigame pls
I just relax and play mc while watching
In the last level couldn't the stacker be at the end, the glass producer eject directly to the place the stacker is right now or does that break it?

Incorrect. Push the stacker and C H E E S E dispenser down, then put the chip & pretzel dispensers 2 below the plate one.
