Over the years, I have often thought, am I possessed by some devil?? As I have suffered with depression and anxiety most of my life.
A few times I even thought about asking for a priesthood blessing to cast anything out, but have never felt game enough to and thought ‘ oh that’s ‘ Ridiculous
When my son receives the higher priesthood in six months I will ask him.
I also think I need to stop my addiction to junk food!
Yes! There is healing to be had. I might add that you have the power to cast these out yourself. It’s a matter of intentionally aligning yourself to God, repenting of all you can, and creating your own release through faith and prayer and fasting. The power of God lives in you as the Light of Christ! It’s yours to command. ❤️
Last night I was contemplating how I seem to always be foiled by the adversaries attempts. I wondered how am I supposed to combat an enemy who has billions of data points on how to perfectly tempt people and I have no clue how he does it. I prayed to find the tools to help me combat this enemy. And voila, an amazing podcast. Thank you for answering a prayer.
Thank you for posting! Last week I was feeling funky (very sad and wanting to cry for no reason). I asked my husband for a blessing after we did our errands and the Holy Spirit told me to rebuke Satan right then and there in the car! I raised my arm to the square and rebuked. The feeling left immediately. My life is pretty great right now, so I shouldn't have had those bad feelings. I feel "they" are attacking everyone in or out of the church!
President Nelson has said "to cast out satan and his influence" and it seems lately I am doing this very often
I watched the first half of this last night and just finished. I woke up with a text message from my niece who told me that she was struggling with an energy that felt attached to her and keeping her from sleeping!! Before I watched this (and I always try to do this) I prayed to be guided to what The Lord wanted me to watch. First of all, this is SPOT ON with my experience with my kids. I have 4 kids and all of them have struggled with this. 2 have autism with anxiety as part of it and 1 who has been struggling with anxiety and depression and recently SEIZURES!! The seizures stopped after a blessing with her too, but she is now struggling with motor tics like Tourette’s. She wants nothing to do with the church and dabbles in witchcraft 😞 but I know she’s a noble spirit on her own journey and I have complete faith that she’s going to be okay. But, this has invited things into our home. I feel exactly the same way as Reed when he said I’m not afraid anymore. I literally had an evil spirit scream in my face after I got into bed a couple of months ago and I just rolled over and said a prayer. I’m sure it was very angry that I wasn’t afraid. I just know the power of Christ and that He is with me and my family. The struggle is real though because our just turned 8 year old saw this same entity (he has autism, so not communicating at his age level, but described to me exactly the same thing I saw the night before). He still won’t sleep in his room and I don’t blame him. My husband also saw it and it was wearing a bow just like our daughter like it was trying to mimic her. My husband said a priesthood blessing over our home and many blessings to our kids. The battle is still ongoing and as you say “an agreement with fear” makes complete sense.
Thanks so much for sharing and confirming our own experience that I already knew what it was, but is still so helpful and you have brought new knowledge to my mind that rings true. Now I know I can help others like my niece besides our kids because of our experiences. The Lord allows this because they are important lessons that we can’t learn any other way. When he said spirit of contention; the thing that has come to my mind when hearing that as example is when you walk into a room and you can feel the tension in there and it’s very negative and heavy.
I think we’ve all had that experience at some point in our life and I feel like there really is something to this that us mortals just don’t understand. But the way that he has phrased it it’s almost like a puzzle piece has fallen into place.
Reed, that you for sharing your experiences! It was validation for me because I’ve been doing the exact same things as you do over the last couple of years. People need to be aware that the adversary is real and we have the power to cast out.

Helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, feed shod in preparation of peace, shield of faith, and the sword of the word of God. Our only offensive tool is scripture!!!! Please provide us with his website and UA-cam channel. Thank you for this interview and information. I believe all of the saints need to wake up to this reality and use the powers God has endowed us with. I imagine our garments to be a primary shield against these spirits as well, as long as we wear them and don't defile them.
Not basic at all! You are right on Megan. Commandments are a protection. Part of which is to keep evil spirits from us. Even any negative thoughts we have opens us up to them. They take every opportunity they can get!

Thank you and Amen.18 years ago I was promted for weeks to learn more about the spirit wolrd around us. I thought I was well versed with the biblical accounts of Jesus ministry but the sprit taught me so much. I have seen dozens of miracles by teaching people to turn to Christ, after teaching them a bit more of the spiritual relms around us and asking in prayer by their faith in Jesus Christ, asking what is afflicting them. Then Always in the name of Jesus Christ a simple statement of release, or command to depart never to return to, ei: person, place, other family members, and cannot come with in 1000 feet of anyone mentioned. That all knowledge of them, contracts, attachments, asignments, and saboteurs are releaed in the name of Jesus Chist according to his will and plan for them.
I dont use a script but try to follow the spirit, basicly you pray in the name of Jesus Christ
state the desired release and inspired outcome.
Always according to his will. Always all praise and gratitude be to God and Christ, that's were the healing comes from.
I didn’t see this happen but my sister did back in the 90’s. My daughter was about 10 and my son about 16.
This is the story:
I was at your house in Sandy and J. came home from being out with friends. He was under some influence. I used to pray for him and feel nothing but black.
I remember seeing a spirit transfixed over his face. It looked like I was seeing double. As J. left to go out the door again, that evil spirit jumped out of his body and into N. She started convulsing like crazy. And I just took her by the arm, and by the spirit of Jesus Christ and the authority of the Holy Melchizedek priesthood we possess in going through the temple I cast it out of her. Immediately she relaxed, and it left. She melted as it left her and was fine after that.
Thank you for this! I have been praying for direction on how to help my oldest daughter who has anxiety & ADHD/ADD. She has also told me of many times she has seen or heard some of these spirits good and evil. We have taught her how cast them out but the contract thing is new to me. I am definitely interested in learning more about this so so can better help myself, hubby and all 3 of my kids. ❤❤❤
Studying Swedenborg's teaching on evil spirits helped me understand the different kinds of evil spirits and how they operate. So I highly recommend looking into that if anyone is interested.
The more I watch these discussions the more and more I see I am not unique in my experience. I was hospitalized and received treatment for a stroke three months ago. I was also under intense attack for several hours until I rebuked the adversary, received a blessing as well as medical treatment. I recovered fully but my wife could not tell if I was alive or dead and I could feel my life energy being pulled out of me. We now pray every night for our children who are very sensitive to disturbances as they sleep.
This was fantastic, I learned a lot more than I knew before. I see a way out now for many of the darts I have been afflicted with.

This was so great. Thank you. My . is soon to turn 50 has seizure activity. Overnight testing in hospital showed him having 200 seizure activity in a 24 hr period. It's been hard for him and us as a family. It destroyed his marriage becsuse these seizure activities led to grand Mal seizures, leading to him bring on disability at age 49. He was devastating! Hus then wife dmno longer wanted to be married to him. His neuro surgeon explained that when someone us talking to him he inky picks up so many words making reasoning wuth him or reasoning for him very difficult. HE was hit by a car at age 5, all injuries were to his head. Neuro thinks it's from that accident that is the cause of his seizure activity . He has made good decisions when I've just stayed by hus dude reheating and repeating what woukd be best for him but as am adult on hus own he gas made bad decisions that have led to much hardship in hus life. As hus mom it has hurt me to see him go through these things. This podcast has really opened my eyes to see his condition differently. I can't say thank you enough. I'm sharing thus video with him and I'm going to have conversations with him about these things wow, thank you so very much.

The reason his son felt sick was NOT because the Lord was showing him a second witness, it is because we HAVE to command the spirits to never return or attach to any of our family, friends or those around us. They will transfer from one to the next.

Yes, I’m learning this the hard way too. It went from my 16 year old daughter (who was having seizures too by the way, our experience is so eerily similar) to my 8 year old son. He saw “a ghost” screaming in his face as he explained it and now hasn’t slept in his bed for 2 months now. Poor guy, I don’t blame him. My husband just keeps giving him blessings and he’s doing better, but such a struggle. God is working this all for our good, I have no doubt!!
I’m finding it hard that evil spirits are aloud to bother an 8 year old . There is a story that Cain killed Able in far west . Joseph Smith was living in far west with his family . Satan confronted Joseph Smith saying he can’t be here this is his territory . Satan bother one of JS children . He was cast out and never came back . So yes there are stories .
I just want too add too this have you done work for your ancestors ? I know that when you do this you bring the unclean spirits to Heavenly Father side and those aborigines become less Christ said come to me and let me heal you and he does that through the temple
i get vivid,real,terrifying dreams. There's nothing scarier. I'm learning how to deal with them with less fear. I know they are from adversary. I write them down now. I also get very real spiritual dreams from God. I know write those down. The bad ones are sooooo terrifying. The good ones are so enlightening and special. These dreams leave you knowing their real or have a message or insight. They are different and unlike most of the silly dreams we have. I was getting scared to sleep sometimes because of these demons or entitys. I can cast them out by Christ,but the buildup and reveal they present are terrifying and paralyzing! It's tough to recover. All this after I became worthier than I've ever been and attend temple regularly. But I’m a little at a loss on what else to do.
I can so relate to this!!! I have the same gifts with dreams and visions. My eyes have seen through the veil both good and bad. Increasing my faith in Christ in the ONLY thing that takes the fear away. I fill my days with scripture study, Christian music, and anything else that invites the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit. I’m so careful about what I watch, read and social media too. I know these things are like “portals” for a lack of a better word to explain it. I’ve gotten to the point that I can discern an attack the moment it happens, yes we can invite it in with our choices wether consciously or unconsciously, but they also force themselves in (the aren’t polite waiting for an invitation) so, have a priesthood blessing on your home and do it as often as you feel you need. I also don’t wait for a spiraling of depression or anxiety before I get a blessing, I get one as soon as I notice a feeling of darkness, if saying a prayer or casting out isn’t enough. Usually just a prayer is enough, but these entities are different and not equal in strength and power. Sometimes just listening to music is enough. Or sometimes consistently fasting and praying is needed. Just keep exercising your faith, communing with the Lord through scripture study, prayer and worshipping especially in the temple and just make a choice to trust Him. Doing this has been an ongoing process for me, but the ONLY thing that works. Remember to turn to the Lord faithfully for healing, peace and comfort and not anything else. I’ve learned that lesson big time too, nothing or no one can take the place of the Lord in our hearts! Not food, not even family or friends when we need true healing, comfort and peace.
@@janeenburke thank you so much! Glad I’m not the only one. The crazy thing is the more I grow in knowledge the more they come. I wasn’t as active or spiritual as I am now and use to have crippling addiction to alcohol etc. But now I feel on fire, it’s great! It’s just weird that I’m learning so much and getting them the more spiritual I get. But I had one the other night and I was able to not let it scare me so much. I’m getting better but the presence alone is terrifying and even paralyzing. I don’t get sleep paralysis much anymore from them either but they appear. Anyways, priesthood power is great. I should probably just ask my Bishop but can I give my own place a blessing by myself?

I think one of the traumas would be emotional abandonment from family. I think that's the reason for my dealings with the evil spirits. I will try the exercise you described and see if it helps.
So much of emotional abandonment and dysfunctions in families.......I wish all would Choose Christ as He is our healer

I wonder why these kinds of things are not taught in the church in these days. I know they were taught at the first of the restoration by Joseph Smith and others.
I’ve wondered that too, I don’t know the answer. I do know that if you go seeking these things, you will find A LOT on it in our doctrine. There are some great conference talks, but they are older. The ones we hear now are great, don’t get me wrong and they are spot on for what we need to learn and focus on, I absolutely believe that. I think we just get used to hearing certain language and ways of explaining things that we miss it, does that make sense? But also, there is definitely an element of just not talking about it especially in church meetings and I think that there are a few reasons, but perhaps the biggest is that we are afraid. Which obviously isn’t good! I think another is we think that we will be seen as crazy…even though there are dozens of accounts in scripture. I do believe we need to be brave and speak up more about this in a way that is directed by the Spirit because you can get too caught up in it and that’s not good either.

The video was very timely for me as this was on my mind this morning. Any thoughts on how one should approach casting out evil spirits from loved ones who don't have faith in Christ? To me it seems the miracle cannot happen without that faith in Christ but there are times when another's faith can bless those around them. It feels like something that only personal revelation can provide sufficient answers for my situation but just in case someone has special wisdom to impart I figure it can't hurt to ask.
I so relate to this as well are going through it with our 16 year old daughter. She wants nothing to do with the church and is dabbling in witchcraft though we have repeatedly warned her. She is deceived thinking it’s harmless or something. We just keep praying and fasting that she will have discernment, soften her heart and have opportunities that could open her up to the spirit and be converted. We have been spiritually preparing ourselves for a long road and perhaps her hitting a scary rock bottom situation. But, I trust the Lord knows what she needs on her journey and I trust she is a noble spirit and will one day recognize who she truly is inside. I know that all spirits born in the covenant or who have the opportunity to come to the covenant in their lifetime fought valiantly in the war in heaven and we can pray for the stirring in their souls to help remind them of this truth and divine potential.
I just keep getting these messages from the Spirit and to just love her, be example of a covenant woman and pray for her that she will discern for herself the good from the evil.. I hope this helps.
Also, I have cast out from her and I’m not sure if it was the best thing because she doesn’t have faith. I know that it can come back worse when we don’t have faith, but I don’t know. It does seem to have helped in some way and I trust the Lord is working all things for good even in our mistakes in trying to help her or even mistakes that we know weren’t right afterwards. God will work ALL things for good to those who love Him. 🙌❤️

Your thoughts line up with mine in that when you cast an evil spirit out that doesn't mean their room and bed is cast out with it. If the person feels more comfortable housing evil spirits in them they will keep a room for them to sleep in when they come back. It seems the greater condemnation occurs when you completely purge all remains and belongings of that evil spirit from your heart through Jesus Christ, to where you have no more disposition to do evil but to do good continually, and then invite that spirit back in. That is when your condition will be worse than when you started.
I have also been pondering on how Adam and Eve were not able to be taught by messengers from God until Satan was cast out of their midst. It seems to me that we cannot teach, nor can we be taught, greater light and knowledge when evil spirits are present.
In casting out the spirits we are opening up the opportunity to be able to learn. I tried casting the spirits out of our home early one morning (my wife is who I worry about) and was surprised to instead see my 8 year old daughter acting unusually happy and chipper as a result when she woke up. Sometimes she feels like a teenager in an 8 year old body so this mood change was not fully anticipated by me but I welcomed it with open arms.
If anything, someone is going to potentially benefit from having devils cast out when it occurs.
42:38 See yourself, see the demon and see the contract you signed at some point. Picture yourself kneeling before judgment seat of God. And saying, " Lord, I have this. I do not want this. Please apply your atoning blood to cover and end this contract on my behalf."

I do NOT follow Visions of Glory nor Energy healing as we have Christ to lead/heal us if we choose Christ as our guide and Savior. I took notes, then after watching all of this, prayed: the Spirit prompted me to cancel out about half of my notes. But the basics of President Nelson warning us to cast out satan and his influence, and what we learn in the Temple remained. I can see why Brother Doxey is sharing their tough experiences; it will help others; and why he felt to test the surety of his daughter's release from satan. Certainly as our prophet has warned that satan is quadrupling his efforts, God gives us more than four times the Help we need in this tough time as we choose to follow God's assigned prophet/apostles

@@tenerds4569Chad and Lori were NOT living gospel standards. They slept together and believed they were meant to be together and then guess what…. Killed their spouses and her kids… tried to kill other family members. They were not living the commandments and that opened them up to more and more deception.
Do all things in Christ’s way. We are allowed to cast out devils, but we have to be living the Lord’s law, and some experiences require a lot more obedience such a fasting and extra prayers to cast out.

So my question is can someone need to have Satan or demons cast out of them if they are keeping the commandments to the best of their ability and wearing the Holy garments of the temple and attending sacrament and worshiping in the temple?? Can they possess someone like that? I’m curious because I know someone who is amazing but continually struggles with anger and tone of voice almost like night and day difference. It causes contention every time. Are they possessed continuously? Or is it just that they are being tempted vs possessed?
Another thought is what age is your daughter? She seems very young and I thought children (under the age of accountability) were exempt from this??
I used to think the same thing until I experienced this with my own kids. There’s an account in scripture and it’s actually the one Reed cited in the video about the apostles being unsuccessful in casting out and Jesus said that fasting and praying was needed for this sort of evil spirit. The evil spirit was with a young man who was cutting himself and throwing himself into fire, Jesus asked how long it had been going on and the father said since he was a child!! Having 2 sons with autism, this sounds eerily familiar to our experience. Very interesting. There’s so much that I’ve received only through personal revelation and experiences and perhaps that’s how the Lord intends it. All of it is confirmed scripturally though too.
Oh and also, to answer your first question…yes! Definitely! We can be deceived and unconsciously agreeing, holding things in our hearts from the adversary and still attending the temple, receiving blessings, etc. the key is to humble ourselves daily!! Daily repentance! Humbling ourselves is acknowledging we always need the Lord to teach us. If we are prideful thinking we know better and are unwilling to consider that we are wrong about something then we are easily susceptible to being deceived. The other key is that if we humble ourselves, letting God’s will prevail and not our own on any matter (not talking about that we aren’t free to make our own choices, but that we are striving to align our choices with righteousness and keeping commandments/covenants) if we do this, we will not STAY deceived…the Lord will make the truth known. We just have to be willing to be taught and chastised no matter how painful that realization means. I’ve experienced this even with something that I thought came from the Lord, but learned that it actually came from the adversary. Yes, he is that cunning and deceitful, he has counterfeits to everything the Lord has. Being and staying humble is the key for this.

I struggle with this being in children who are not accountable yet…
I had a hard time when I first became aware of this. Also, I have a son who has Autism. I had always believed that those with special needs are protected. What I have come to understand is that children & those with special needs are protected from being tempted to do evil. However, evil spirits are still able to get to them.
There are accounts in the scriptures of children being possessed. The man who brought his son to the Savior FI. The one who said,"Help thou mine unbelief."
I have two sons with autism and I know exactly what you’re saying, I had a hard time realizing this too. But, it’s taught me so much and God is so good and so willing to help and bless us. He’s working all of this for good!
Another account in scripture about a child possessed was in the account Reed cited in this video where the apostles were unsuccessful casting out and they asked Jesus why and He said that that sort of evil spirit to be cast out needed continuous fasting and praying. The account said that it had been going on since he was a child!! My son at 7 saw “a ghost screaming in his face” 😢 he hasn’t slept in his room since, it’s been 2 months. We just keep praying and fasting (he also has autism)

I've suffered from anxiety since I was a child. I grew up with a psysophrenic mother. In and out if mental institutions. She would be gone fir a yr in these hospitals. She had shock treatments and when I was around 12 she began telling me about tgese shock treatments, how awful they were. I didn't understand and I thought she was telling me this to get me to turn against my dad because she blamed him for these treatments. it wasn't until yrs later I realized dangerous this was. Anyway my life growing up was very dysfunctional which created sadness and severe anxiety which I still suffer with tthis day. Not panic attacks though anymore. Any helpful thoughts for this?

What do you mean by "make an agreement with".....do you mean to take those false beliefs that this will always be like this or I will always be this way?
I think that’s a great way of describing it. We are just used to it and think that that’s just the way we are. Also, I think we can get comfortable and complacent in our thinking or even believing that our fear, worry, pride or even anger is somehow working for us and helping us in some way. That perhaps we even like it.
Where can I find the books and references for these teachings? When you spoke about “contracts our ancestors may have made with devils and we are bound by”….I have never heard that before except from people who dabble in “Energy Healing” which it says in the church handbook we should not be dabbling in… I just want to make sure I am going through the proper channels that our Church tells us to do. You are wise to be a little skeptical about this.
The first miracles in the Church done by Joseph Smith were dealing with casting out of evil spirits. What was the dark power binding Joseph's tongue before the Father and the Son's appearance? So many references in the scriptures about it. Some 'Energy' healing is not good. You must have the Spiritual gift called "the gift of discerning of spirits" to know the difference. The majority of the Saints are ignorant of this because we are too 'sophisticated', believing in the traditions of our fathers rather than the scriptures and prophets. The Brethren do not teach on everything in the scriptures, leaving some things for us to discover ourselves.
Please don’t fall for this, look into mormon core beliefs and mormon/lds history before doing anything else with them. There are a lot of red flags. Look into the beginning’s of the religion. This has Chad Daybell vibes to it.

Because we live in a fallen world subject to Satan’s dominion. It’s all a part of opposition, learning good and evil through our own experience. Learning important lessons that can only be learned in this mortal experience. We will always be subject to it until we are perfected in and through Christ and exalted.
We can go through periods of being free from it, just it’s easy to get complacent and forget. So we have to stay diligent. Especially as Satan is ramping up his efforts because we are so close to the second coming! 🙌
These issues are pertinent to my life. I am struggling in the family situation and even somewhat personally with them.
One thing that I believe is, Many times we are tapping into something that is outside of us. like to Savior taught, We must say yea yea or nay nay, You are or are not welcome here. There is talk of generational curses/blessings and I believe that the generations do matter.
I always wondered about exodus twenty where it talks about the third and fourth generation of them that love me and the opposite of them that hate me.
(God speaking,) We are potentially following a grandparent.Before we ever get here and there is a Blessing or Curse associated Because of this heads up, Given to us by a benevolent God, as I perceive it.

Proper nutrition does play a big role. Guidance is key in learning what all is needed. But, nothing takes the place or will work better than exercising faith in Christ. He is the light, the life and the only way. ❤️

That’s what I thought when he mentioned how the spirits get into you… it was right out of that book. People need to take that book with a grain of salt, it is NOT scripture!

You are right. This is fringy and dangerous stuff. It isn't scriptural, nor is it something taught by our priesthood leaders.
