Beautiful piece. Most people don't understand what a crazy genius was Czerny....by the time he was 10, he had mastered everything Beethoven had published until then for the piano. Beethoven himself was deeply impressed, and offered to teach him , for free. Later, Czerny would teach piano for 10 hours a day, then go back home, write a new composition (without checking anything at the piano), as easily as he would write a letter, and go to sleep. The next morning he would take the new composition straight to the publisher. Thanks for your wonderful performance, I did not know this piece.
Yes, is a wonderful piece and I was delighted to get to know it!
Which 3 pieces are the easiest???
@@xavier9062Remote Xianggelila / Blue air / Feodora
@@xavier9062I think Romance is easier than Feodora

I'm taking the exam in June or earlier also :)
😂😂 I also prepare 8 trinity courses. Even though I go to class, you are my source of inspiration. The videos help me correct errors and see how you feel about the work. Your sensitivity makes you my best reference for several years. Thank you so much!!
👏 would love to hear your performance of Tsaykovsky’s Autumn song if possible.
What did you use to record? The sound is very clear.
Mesmerizing performance 💞
Thank you!
Great job 👍👍👍👍💐💐💐💐💐
Thank you!
Your playing is absolutely incredible, I hope to achieve this in my exam. Where should we use the pedal in the piece?
You played awesome on your piano. I loved it all the way around. Great playing. Nice tune m i have fun listening. I also play piano
Noice video bro.
Thank you so much for sharing this. It does help me a lot with my preparation. I just have a question, were you using pedal between bar 35 to bar 52 because I can’t see any pedal sign.
Thanks! Yes, you will need to pedal this section. Composers don't always notate pedal marks as they expect performers to work out what is best for them individually. As a general rule here, you will need to change pedal on every quaver (1/8th note). Hope that helps!
@@jillmortonpianist Thank you so much for replying❤️❤️
This is very helpful. What about pedaling the arpeggio sections after measure 52?
Hello ma'am. That was really wonderful. I'm inspired by the way you're playing this. I have one question. There's a repetition between measure 35 and 43. May I know why you excluded that?
Thanks for your comment. Regarding the repeat, it says this in the syllabus "Candidates should observe repeats of a few bars, but longer repeats should not be played unless stated otherwise in this syllabus". I think this example could probably fit into either category, but most of the time, a repeat of this length would not be observed.
@@jillmortonpianist thanks a lot for your reply ma'am. That cleared my doubt. I'm grateful to you.
Can I use sustain pedal from bar 35 to 52 because at bar 35, I feel difficult to play due to short hand problem
I think it’s absolutely fine to use some here. Just make sure that you use legato fingers where possible and always listen carefully to make sure that it doesn’t sound muddy - you’ll probably find that you will be changing pedal on almost every quaver. Good luck!
@@jillmortonpianist thanks for guidance
Didn't you play the the second G in bar 17 Beat 2? Can't hear it even at 0.5x speed
I did. I incorporate it into the grace notes so that there are 5 equally spaced notes in the right hand over the quaver in the left hand. Hope that makes sense!
@@jillmortonpianist Isn't the fingering given in the book really tough to execute? I find 4-3-2-1 a lot easier than 3-1-2-1. Is that considered cheating?
@@adityacapte from what I know personally, it's okay to tweak the fingerings a bit, because what works for one might not work for others. there are some instances where there are multiple fingerings shown on one note and that shows that we can use either as we choose. I don't think it's considered cheating, but please do correct me if I'm wrong
Should I use pedal in this song more?
You can use it in certain places but it always has to be very subtle and you don’t really want your listener to be aware that you’re using it. How much or how little will depend on the piano and the acoustics of the room
