I've got that exactly same car ! It's a cracking ride. Got other vehicles of same brand, with higher model numbers. Hands down, the old 986 is by far the most fun to drive. The car is perfectly balanced, and with lower power output, you can get that sweet flat-6 sound on public roads, without necessary jeopardizing your license. Neither will you be spinning your 986, a contrast to a 9XX.
a sweet machine. I have one. All the power you can want unless you want to be pulled over. Yea, you can get a 718 Spyder which goes 186mph but where can you do that ? The key to me is acceleration between 25-75 mph and this car is magnificent.
@@TematyAuto I figured. the germans just seem to make cars for the taller driver in mind. i would be all over japanese roadsters and those types of cars but i just don't fit well in them. My main issue with the german cars is cost to repair and sometimes they can be overcomplicated in areas where simplicity is king. I like the older german cars the most but they're untouchable without atleast 40 grand. Sometimes i just like to look at these cars and imagine owning one but i don't think i ever actually will :\
@@jvogler_art4708 Germans are taller so it makes sense. I'm 6'1 so shorter than you but space is great. Only thing is I took out the centre console box to make more room for my legs. It is more comfortable now.

Perfectly said. Just picked up my 99 986 and love everything about it.
Great sound. Thank you for driving around with a camera on your head to give us a fantastic video to watch;)
Love my 986! Speed yellow and a few tricks in her!

In Germany you Can
Great video loved watching it
I have the same car, same colour. Only time I really wish it had more power is when people in newer fast cars want to race all the time.
Ładny ten Boxster👍 Pozdrawiam
Hello guys I have an Alfa Romeo Spider 939 V6 and thinking to replace it with this car, car I have some tips, recommandations?
Fajne auto, podoba mi się sekcja "Corners" - nie rezygnuj z tego!
Bellissima!!!
The steering wheel doesn’t look like a 1999. Normally a four spoke.
Nice ride! Some hilly bits next time
Hiiii !! do u have an original exhaust?
how tall are you? I'm 6'3'' looks like you might be about the same? Was your head peeking over the windshield or legs cramped?
I’m 6’3” too. Both legroom and headroom is fine, the camera angle makes it look worse. Boxster is very spacious for a roadster.
