    I have 360000km on mine. Heated seat finally broke. AC. And just changed my first clutch. Crazy reliability. Best car I’ve owned. Also if you look at the exterior design. It was the grandfather. All other SUV and CUVs copied the KIA sportsge design and still holds up in todays market 2020. From the jeep to Mazda to GM and the list goes on. Truly has been top of my list of the 10 vehicles I’ve owned. So much so that I’m thinking about buying Kia again. I will miss this car. And I ripped the shit out of the motor too.

    Really excited to buy this SUV. It's the newest car I will ever own. This guy just bashed it so bad. lol it can't be that bad. We test drove one and loved it! People drive a vehicle before you make your decision. This is a great suv.

    Those who think that the ride is too stiff or harsh, has to learn how to drive. In europe sportage is almost sold out and sellers tell you that you have to wait least 1-3 months for delivery. This car is one of the most cool asian car so far.

    Absolutely, but from the moment you get behind the wheel you get a sense that the Escape was built by driving enthusiast and the engineers know how to tune the chassis better in terms of ride and handling as well as engine sound/performance

    I used to have this exact same car. It's a long story, but we were driving on a one-lane bridge and there was a big tire in the middle of the road. There were no emergency pull-off lanes, so my wife who was driving the car had no choice but to run over the tire. Unfortunately, that made the oil pan fall off and our car was leaking some kind of reddish-brown fluid. Sadly, the car got totaled and we had had it for only about 5 years.

    I own a 2012 CR-V and I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's such a bad SUV. I can give many reasons why we love it. It's fuel efficient, it's comfortable, it's the most spacious vehicle in the class, it's reliable and has good resale. That's not even all the reasons. People are too worried about luxury features and the forget who the car is marketed toward and all those features just jack up the price. Looks are subjective an they've done nothing to slow the sales of the CR-V in any way.

    Thanks for sharing that, it's a good thing Kia has eliminated the need for the special cable on UVO models

    The 2012 CR-V is still a great SUV as well, we think Honda just needs to update it with their new 2.4 DI engine and add the premium features found in the new Accord

  • @greetrigh28

    You said the car had only 5700 miles on it. Did the previous owner say why he got rid of it at such a low mileage?

  • @NotARealUTubeAccount
    @NotARealUTubeAccount 12 років тому

    To use an iPod with UVO you do not need a special cable! All you need is the iPod/iPhone cable that comes with the device. Older hyundais/Kia's do need the special cable though.

  • @hondaftw1234
    @hondaftw1234 12 років тому

    In this class, for me at least, it's the Mazda CX-5 (which would have been our close second choice had it been out in Decemember 2011) and the CR-V. The Mazda is awesome as far as value, quality, fuel economy and functionality and IMO, it's by far the best looking SUV in this class. I prefer our CR-V though.

    if it is like the 2012 Our 2012 Sportage has a really bad problem with the Transmission we have had it in the shop 3 times in the last month at first the gear shifter got stuck due to some part that broke off they had it in there for almost a week we had to rent a vehicle they said that they don't have loner cars when they fixed it they said all was good so about 3 weeks later the transmission started acting up it would go out of gear on the free way and then it would shift so hard it actually hurt my back so I took it to Walmart in Arlington WA and they did an oil change and assured me all was fine with the tranny fluid but it got worse on the way home so we took it to the dealer who then looked at it again and said that there was 2 quarts of fluid missing. They then proceeded to fill to the ;proper level, then did an inspection and reprogrammed the transaxle to factory specs, along with a 150 point inspection of the vehicle. It was initially better then started shifting late and the going to the nest gear with a bang. Now I was getting better and more cautious about starting, as this is when you feel the shift(so hard it bangs into the next gear it was like powershifting a hemi powered high output vehicle from the late 60s and early 70s). So back it goes to the dealer and they are looking at it again, fluid is full, but still not shifting smooth like it should and had been doing up till this point. Of course one thing is they gave me a paper and a bill for 181.00 and that included a 150 point inspection same as before. Now my question is how come they didn't catch the fact was 2 quarts low on tranny fluid the first. Another gripe is why the hell would they put in a closed system with no way to check the tranny fluid, dumb. I know by the way he talks I am wasting my time and a fair amount of money, with a warranty that seems to be an issue or at the very least a bargaining chip so they can ram me again, and the extended warranty, $2500.00 very poorly spent as they will find a way to negate that also. I will say at least they gave me a loaner car this time, free of charge, the jury is still out on that. Do keep receipts of all maintenance that will help, but do i trust him to do his best for a customer who has bought 5 cars from this dealership, my guess whatever they tell you is that is all smoke and mirrors. Speaking of the mirrors the visibility from the passenger side mirror is awful I am always afraid that I may hit someone coming up on that side of me this is a real safety issue I loved this car but we have barley hit 50,000 miles and we are having problems like this
    Show less

    I'm a HUGE Honda fan, and Sofyan knows it.. but everything makes the current CR-V look dated already.. With that being said, I'm not won over by any means and believe I would never be, not by a KIA or Hyundai. But Honda needs to address the next CR-V to end all competition like once before. I know the Honda's quality and reliability is way better, but from the styling point and the tech options it doesn't appeal enough to people who want reliability and tons of style.

  • @Dillon1791
    @Dillon1791 12 років тому

    Yeah i know, i just think that it needs a nice MMC already. Nicer rims, more Tech like in the new Accord, and perhaps Earthdreams now that its being used. Maybe the CR-V should get the LED and HID headlights on higher EX+ trims form its Japanese model. It would be over well renewed in my taste. Honda still needs to fix the Ridgline and Pilot though. At least the new Civic is on its way!! (MMC or Next gen)

    Wth are you talking about? The intererior looks cheap with cheap plastic and an ugly steering wheel. You have no sense of what looks good. And that cheap plastic you cry about is as sturdy as it comes. 14 years later, and mine still looks perfect.
    The hood is NOT heavy.
    The 2.4 motor doesn't click like that one. There is something wrong with that motor.
    Mine has over 312k on it ,and it's still running great, and everything still works.
