How do you copy audtomation in Ableton not a midi or audio clip, if you just ctr+c + highlight the area it copies midi or audio with automation but not separately, thnks in advance.
Hope this answers your question:
Select the Automation: Click and drag to select the automation data you want to copy. You can do this by selecting the automation lane in the arrangement view or automation envelope in the clip view.
Copy the Automation: Once you've selected the automation data, you can copy it by pressing Ctrl + C (or Cmd + C on Mac)
Paste the Automation: Move the playhead to where you want to paste the automation data. Then, press Ctrl + V (or Cmd + V on Mac) to paste the automation data at the desired location.
By following these steps, you'll be able to copy and paste automation data separately from MIDI or audio clips in Ableton Live. 👍
