Hi, Mike i'm a student of graphic designing my teacher gave me an assainment to make chess pieces with 3D using stroke.i wanted to used gradient in stroke to get colored chess piece but when i applied 3D revolve the result was dull grey chess piece , is there any way to get my desired colorful gradient 3D chess pieces using gradient in stroke, plz help me.
Hey Ming, as far as I know, using just a stroke, there's no way to get the desired results you're looking to achieve. This would require making the chess piece with the stroke and then expanding the 3D Shape then using gradient mesh for the fills. All the best with your classes!
What stroke width would you suggest for making a colouring book? 2 pt ?
A well designed colouring book should probably have varying sizes of strokes.
All the tuts are great but, can you up your mic settings a little, I'm at full volume at only just audible thx
Sorry for that, I'm pretty sure they get better on the later videos.
Good marketing ploy 😃@@MikePickettDesignCo
