Coming back to this a year later: why do I sound so sad? 😂
You are the king of adobe! I am a teenager who recently started using adobe and you really help me so much. Thank you
Glad to be of help, my friend! Keep on!
Between this video and the one you did with every Illustrator tool in under 20 minutes, it made me realize how many useful features there are I’ve never attempted to learn or use! I’ve been using Illustrator since the early 1990’s (I learned on version 5.0!) and there are so many things I still need to learn. I kept my notes app open and as you went over a panel I knew nothing about but feel I could use, I jotted it down so I can look up videos explaining those further. Thanks!
Thank, Jerry! Always good to learn new things, it doesn't matter after how long :) Cheers!
oh wow

Andy Tells Things!
Thank you for your kind words Turquoise :)
If you aren't a legend, then I don't know what you are sir Andy...
You really tells things and great things indeed. Your illustrator tutorials are unique and so cool. I remember the first time I came across your content here in UA-cam. I immediately visited your Chanel for more and subscribed the same day. You once stopped and officially said you wouldn't make any illustrator tutorials again and I was so sad. I was so excited when you decided to continue with what you started. I just wanna say thank you for everything sir, your content is really amazing. Regards from Cameroon
Thanks, mate! I'm really happy to read that. Glad I came back, then! :)
You are an amazing teaching - thank you for these concise, accessible lessons!

Dear Andy,
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible video you created explaining every panel in Adobe Illustrator. The way you broke down each panel and explained its functionality in a clear and concise manner was truly fantastic.
As someone who has been using Illustrator for years, I was amazed by how many helpful tips and insights you provided that I had never even considered before. Your attention to detail and willingness to take the time to thoroughly explain each panel was truly impressive.
What I appreciated most about this video was how accessible it was for both beginners and more experienced users. Your explanations were easy to understand, yet still managed to provide valuable information for those with more advanced knowledge.
Overall, I just wanted to express my gratitude for this amazing resource you created. Thank you so much for taking the time to create such a helpful video for the Illustrator community. I am excited to see what other great content you will be sharing in the future!
Sincerely,
Wajahat

This is great. However, can you also cover the attributes panel fully? Meaning the Image map, URL and the large text field under it that you skipped in this video?
This was very useful. Thank you :)

For sure I want to know more it
God bless you
And you too
The properties panel is interesting to me because I find that it slows down my workflow. The simple reason is that the panel itself takes up a lot of space while not exposing all of the tools that I would need to be visible at all times. The ideas behind it is that if you select a tool, it gives you the tools and properties you need when using that tool, but that is not all you need when working. So, even if I select the pen tool and I'm drawing paths, I'm still needing access to functions that are unrelated to the pen tool. But, because the Properties panel takes up so much space, there's no room to have all of those other panels. So, it's better for me to have all of the individual panels that I need to have exposed at all times, rather than this Properties panel which focuses itself on a much smaller set of functions. Half of those functions are not even needed by me so they become wasted space. Also, if you look at the whole quick actions section, I would not dedicate any space to that because I'd be accessing those things via keyboard shortcuts or automated actions bund to keyboard shortcuts.
Hey there friend! Yeah, this really shows how versatile Illustrator is. It suits different people and different workflows in different ways. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Does it show images of cartoons doing things?
what
Right way to teach someone. not just a 1 hour crash course. Logically done.
is there a way to fix my adobe crashing every time i use the 3d materials tab.
3D is very demanding on your machine. Is it powerful enough to handle it? You can also try updating your graphics card drivers. Otherwise, you can always contact Adobe for support.
I just wrote on the wrong video, But its his video. I can't see the 3D and Materials option
If it's not under the Window menu, then your Illustrator is probably out of date.
can u tell the shortcuts of all these panels
I rarely ever seen anyone open Panels with shortcuts, and I never use them myself. But you can find all panels that have shortcuts in the "Window" menu. Shortcuts will be listed next to the panel name.
How many standard panels illustrator have?
What do you mean by standard?
