My father went to an African medical convention that was held in Rwanda a couple years ago. He was amazed at how fast and how much Rwanda has improved. Ever since then, I have been tracking President Kagame. I must say I’m impressed. The man is a visionary.

Facts speak louder than words. For those countries that believe in Western democracy and freedom and follow in the footsteps of the West, those countries that believe in China's win-win investment and learn from the Chinese model, you can compare the status quo of these countries. The facts will tell everything, and the facts will not be falsified.

    • @Christobanistan
      @Christobanistan 2 місяці тому

LOL Chinese "win-win investment" means they give you a bunch of money now at a high interest rate, then they call in those debts right when they see you can't pay them. Then, they forced to accept Chinese political control of your country or face economic ruin.
The Chinese have used this predatory tactic all across Africa, which is why no one is accepting these "win-win investments" anymore.
People have awoken to China's game. You get in bed with the devil, what do you act surprised when you wake up with a sore ass?

Call it madness, but there are those who don't want to see modernity & urbanization in African countries! They are happy to see a dirt poor farmer in a rural setting, barefooted, in rags, lives in a hut, few kids running about in the yard, barefooted, in oversized rags & his wife over a mud stove cooking! If city life is shown, it's the slums - not the nice neighborhoods with modern buildings; chaotic traffic - nothing orderly. However, Paul Kagame is showing it can be done. & what's all this batty about freedom? All the average bloke is concerned about is to put food on the table, put $ome in a bank account, not be hassled by civil servants for a bribe, etc! Physical & economic security. Full stop.

Lacked resources yet became incredibly rich and is one of the richest nations in the world. Rwanda had a terrible genocide and has some resources, but its future is focused on services and exporting advanced technology. Good luck I am closely watching you Rwanda.

african countires are now realising, that aid is not the solution, and i hope Rwanda sticks to this idea, my
country Eritrea, who is the youngest country in Africa, has already implimented this idea and has refused aid, saidly other countries were not suportive of our idea of sel-relaint b4, but
now they r starting to realise, also Dambisa Moyo has been helpful in geting
the worlds atentions, heres something interesting to watch
"Eritrea - Isaias Afewerki in 1974 (Self Reliance)."

An educational program, similar to that run by the Ruhi Institute, is needed to awaken in children, junior youth, youth & adult a spirit of humility, generosity, justice, honesty, & trustworthiness. Without these qualities African people will be held captive by tribal loyalty & greed.

he a great man if their were more africa leaders with his thinking,it wouldnt be the gutter hell it is.the ordinary.african werever he lives get no respect because africa poor, europeans get respect cause europe is strong, the asian is respected because asia is strong.african leaders for the most part are not intrested in developing a strong and well of africa for the majority of its peoples,or even decent.they are very selfish and very narrow.afric deserves better leaders, better governance

No offense, but Rwanda is so unique, to the point where even we Rwandans can not practically show when and how many different human groups inside Rwanda came to adopt only one dialect and living in undivided territory. It is not found anywhere else on African continent except in Burundi which used to be one territory with Rwanda, once upon time. All talks about Rwanda's existence and creation are just historic empirical hypotheses

I can't speak for the people of Rwanda but from me South African looking in I do prefer his style of governing maybe after everyone has been taken out of poverty then they can work on their human rights issues.I wish our president had balls like that

The Biggest trade partners are with china are usa and Europe. Why Africa cant do business with china.
First china can build road, bridge hospital, rail way for cheap and fast.
Usa and Europe is very expensive and takes time to built anything.
Africa your issues is not west or china. Your problems every president want to stay power over 40 years and no human rights is so depressing.
But paul i respect him and understand his situations. He cant give to power to Hutu rebels or uncertain people it Will be another Civil war.
He kept peace so far but he cant stay for ever so tutsi should have next plan after him. Where hutu and Tutsi benefit and live peacefully together for ever
All africa tribes want to rule other tribes and they got too much intervince from overseas so is bad situations all Time and who ever leads stilll the same issues
Africa story sad no solutions at all

The trade not aid concept is much easier appreciated by people immersed in Chinese culture, with the Chinese saying "Helping the needy not the poor". In the US, one of the most catastrophic law is " Aid to families with dependent children" which totally destroyed the African American families... And even worse, with entrenched welfare industry, the law can never be repealed...
