Yo anth, are you going to play evrima again? I am really hoping for you to play it soon! I always enjoy those videos and I know a lot of other people do as well. Although, it is probably best to wait for the next update and creature :D. So then it won’t be just like every other evrima video and you can check out the new map! Anyways, keep up the awesome work :D
Ideas that I think might be good for the Atlas; Communications room - Used to contact players in Seamoths, PRAWNs, or at bases with radio stations, used for immersive gameplay, if VOIP is integrated. Damage Control - Station detailing any damage, flooded compartments, or fires on board the Atlas. Could also be used to redirect power to and from systems like lights, fire suppression, weapons, engines, etc. Storage Room/Cargo Bay - Used for general storage or even storage of large objects Research Department - The Atlas is posited as an intensive exploration and research vehicle, having a large area dedicated to housing and researching alien artifacts may be useful Bridge - Ideally other players on-board the Atlas should be able to communicate directly with the helmsman, and they should have access to a smaller, shorter-range sonar display compared to the one in the compartment behind them. Additionally, the helmsman and sonar operators should have independent access to the external cameras Dive Chamber - Would have an airlock as well as storage lockers for diving equipment, air tanks, pressure suits, etc. Defensive Systems - Torpedoes, decoys, and flares will act to either scare away smaller threats, or distract larger ones... for a time. Edit: Additionally I think if they scale up the Atlas slightly they could afford to have up to 4 vehicles in the docking bay, ideally 2 seamoths and 2 PRAWNs. I don't know if future multiplayer will have more than 4 players but that should be more than enough equipment than a team of players need, and if it does, even better.
Yea these would be cool! And maybe if they could make it so that you can build a dock that is like the moon pool but bigger and that just holds it, where you can change out rooms or add different ones on. Basically like the sea truck but instead of adding cars you replace them.
the existence of the escape pods is kinda interesting, since it implies that somehow, you were deep enough for the atlas to be attacked and destroyed, yet you were able to return to the surface in a straight line up through the pod. It is kinda viable as a way to get back safely, since there are lots of players who suffered from being stuck so far down with little food or water available and not enough time to actually return to the surface from such great depths. I also think it would db awesome if with the atlas, we would be able to place the central units of the bases, like nuclear/bio reactors, since its actually more than big enough for them. it would also make the pain of its energy usage more bearable(lets be honest, the thing is so big and is suspected to have lots of goodies built into it. its gonna be extremely power intensive) also about the vehicles, from a multiplayer standpoint, 4 makes sense. But as a primarily solo player, I honestly can't really see a reason to have 4 slots, since that would mean I need to use all of them up so I don't feel bad about it. in the first game there's only the prawn suit and seamoth that can use it, so IMO 2 is perfect. While it is implied that the atlas is suited for 4 players, so is S2, a solo player would need 4 viable vehicles to make the most use out of it. If possible, it could be made that the extra vehicle slots could be modular, using the same concept I mentioned before in the previous paragraph, that being the central unit space for the reactors. those being converted into vehicle slots could be interesting, but weird to implement.

something i dont think anybodys mentioned would be how cool it would be to be able to see vehicles on the map in the atlas scanner room, and if radios / proximity chat was added, itd be really cool to have someone stay behind to help you navigate through maze like areas like the lost river or jellyshroom caves (well depending on the scanners range anyway)
Every time I see these videos, Im reminded of why I love the name Atlas for the sub. It’s just perfect of the power and sheer size of the thing and I cannot wait to see how it turns out!
I already replied to WitherWolf33 with this but here is my idea: Adding onto what Wolf said, it would be cool to have a super dock that would hold the Atlas. In the dock, you can change out different compartments. So like the sea truck but instead of adding or taking away different cars, you replace them. This would also work out for different scenarios you are going in: research, attack, radio like Wolf said, and etc. Plus the dock could be used to possibly fix major hull damages. Idk what do you guys think? Edit: Big idea. Instead of having to change each one out, it would just deconstruct and reconstruct different ones so that it wouldn’t be too difficult on making the animations. And what about a mini vehicle building bay. So you can build and create like the sea month and its upgrades.
I mean I would be happy about any useable Atlas first :p Your suggestion is great, but likely takes a lot more effort than simply finishing up the model first

I really think it's awesome how far this mod has come over a while. Even when it was just the first version that added the black and red gargantuan leviathan I thought it was a really cool mod, but they've really gone way beyond that at this point, this is like a free DLC for subnautica. The new voicelines are awesome and it's really impressive that they even exist. The added areas and alien stuff is cool. The subs look awesome, I'm really excited to have the big boy Atlas sub to play with but that SH4RK sub looks so much fun and it looks great. And of course the garg itself looks so much better than it did in the initial mod. I can't wait to play this, I don't think i'll be able to play Subnautica unmodded again once it's out lol.
The Atlas submarine gives me similar vibes as the sub from Atlantis The Lost Empire and I LOVE IT!!!!! Also hearing that Subnautica 3 will have multi-player is fantastic! Personally I hope all the vehicles from the original Subnautica and the second are all in 3. They have made so many cool things, I'd love to see them all in one game.
The ATLAS could have a lot of uses if a more full version of 4546b's ocean could be explored, and something that would support that would be if it could have PRAWN arms attached to it; like, guide the sub to an underwater resource deposit, and just start drilling. I imagine progression would allow the CYCLOPS to be vulnerable to the large predators, while the ATLAS becomes the end-game, co-operative mobile base. I'd love it to actually eventually happen.
I’m glad there’s a model of the atlas that’s not a stolen model. It was always my favorite concept design because I adore the the idea of having a large mobile base in any open world game. Especially if it’s a multiplayer deal. My most recent subnautica play through had some mods that made the cyclops better as a primary base.
am i the only one who love the unity of the mod dev with Anthomnia? i feel more people should have "teamwork" with mod dev like that. now Anthomnia is technically the personal youtuber for the mod
Atlas - I think the submarine is so big it can be considered as a fully functional mobile base which could explain the life pods and the big open area up top (living area). it is great to see that the Atlas wasn't abandoned due to the model issue. it also looks extremely recourse intensive to build if it were fully functional but the thought of playing subnautica with friends inside the Atlas and going to explore the ocean sounds extremely fun. (small alien functional submarine thing) - I think that the submarine should have a docking mechanism just to make it that much more useful. OVERALL : very nice.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I support a two vehicle bay docking station. To carry 2 Seamoth or 2 PRAWN suits or one of each. That would be more practical. Also, I have a suggestion for another vehicle. A SeaCrane? An undersea vehicle transport vehicle. Similar to a SkyCrain. With the SeaTruck that can attach itself to the front as it as the "cockpit" attach to a "extended cab" section that can have a Fabricator with room for storage lockers, Modification station and control station for vehicles. A long "Spine" shaft will extend from "extended cab section" similar to the SkyCrain. That is where the two vehicle docking stations are attach. Or it can carry FOUR vehicles? Two Seamoths attach under the "Spine" in there docking station and the two PRAWN suits, back to back in the center facing outward between the "spine" docking stations. The PRAWN suits placement will look similar to the SeaTruck version as PRAWN suits hangs off the back of the SeaTruck module. So you carry a combination of two Seamoth or two Seamoth and two PRAWN suits, or just four PRAWN suits. If you are thinking of a two vehicle docking stations, you can have two turbine propulsion engine similar to the Cyclops sticking out of either side of the center. Similar where the helicopter propellers block would have been for the SkyCrain. If a four vehicle carrier, have the turbine angled more then a 45 degree plus angle, so they cannot intrude the placement of the PRAWN suits. And have the "tail" of the vehicle similar to Cyclops, to keep it with conformity. Of course, you can get rid of two of the escape pod chambers and convert them to PRAWN suit stations. So they can be uses as a fast response station for additional defense or PRAWN access location. Good luck every once
Ok so my ideas of the atlas One i think the engine should run on ion power cells, two i think that the locker room should be an ejector for time capsules, three the pod ejector should have a tiny submarine like the cricket, four the map should show you're base and the creatures that are there, five an upgrade in the atlas should be that it can make a holagram of anything and also could scare you're friends aswell, six the pods should come with the basic tools, enough food/water, and equipment like a stasis rifle, seven another upgrade could be that like in the cyclops there should be a sheild and for about 10 seconds you could run over anything like leviathans, fish, friends, and maybe the sea dragon but this will burn the engine so you should have a fire exstinguisher just incase, eight the parking should have a charger inside so it charges the vehicle but this would be an upgrade which uses everything a power cell charger uses, nine the aquarium should be able to hold until a certain size of a creature like a seamoth sized one and smaller, ten the screens at the bridge should be were you could activate stelth mode which makes you invisible for a few seconds and also the coloring thing like in the cyclops Keep in mind the overpowered ones burn up you're engine so watch out
also suggestion for RoTA devs for Atlas - Scanner room can scan up to 1000m w no upgrades , Nuclear Reactor , giant aquarium (for creature observation & other stuff) , Engine boost upgrades like Seamoth , 6-8 Torpedo bays , turret (optional ammo choices ect: Poisonous , Normal , Nerotoxic notice: more expensive then poisonous) , 1 Super-weapon bay (types: Mini Nuke NOTICE: CAN DESTROY THE ATLAS info: the perfect weapon for giant monsters)
Bro I'm getting more and more excited for ROTA. At this rate, I'm gonna be more excited for ROTA than Doors floor 2! (My previous upcoming event) EDIT: Some suggestions: Suggestion 1: Some of the creature eggs I noticed, are missing, including the Bleeder, Biter, Blighter, Rockgrub, Shuttlebug, Floater, Amoeboid, and Reefback eggs, so they could be added. Suggestion 2: I heard that the Atlas was supposed to be an "All-purpose leviathan combat sub". If that's true, then the Atlas should be armed to the teeth, with implements such as harpoons, torpedoes, and maybe even laser cannons! Suggestion 3: When something is cut from the game, it can be quite sad. I suggest adding a cameo of the stolen Atlas model and the old Black-Red-Blue colored Gargantuan leviathan, like in the form of a miniature. Also, I've been wondering how the development of the Manta and the W.A.S.P. submarines have been going. I've been wanting to see more of them.
Oh, the W.A.S.P. was abandoned ages ago. I highly doubt anything will come of it. It was just a reskinned Seamoth, after all. As for the Manta, Abyzma's work on that mod had slowed down for a while, but some members of AotU have began helping in its development. However, please note that it is by no means an AotU mod. If I were you, I'd be more excited about the Draconis tbh.
@@fry2890 Eh, I just skip through them, and they don't bother me. Anthomnia had the Chadness to get his video sponsored just so that he could get his friend help with his broken PC, so I admire his kindess/compasison.
hiya, dev here. regarding the creature eggs: for the Shuttlebug and Reefback, we only reimplemented the existing eggs, which are fully functional and can be spawned in with "spawn jumperegg" and "spawn reefbackegg" respectively. we decided to make the bleeder, biter, blighter, and rockgrub grabbable by the player, removing the need for an egg. this might have adverse game effects for the hostile fish, but that has yet to be determined. likewise, the floaters can already be picked up by the player, and don't need any intervention on our part. lastly, the amoeboid isn't exactly a creature, per se, not from a technical standpoint. perhaps we might do something with them if people want to use them as decorations or something, but as it stands they're more like flora than fauna. regarding the atlas: it's still not certain what purpose the atlas will actually serve, but from a visual design standpoint it wouldn't be the best at underwater combat. the very large glass canopy at the front would not be a good idea for a combat submarine. that isn't to say it can't be one, but there are certainly better vehicle concepts to try that with. regarding cut content: from what I recall, there might be plans for players to use the old atlas skin as a possible customization option, but we at AotU are really not too fond of the old garg. reminder of an unfortunate time, pretty much. that being said, the same system that is used to give the garg funny youtuber skin themes could also be used to import a skin reminiscent of the old garg. regarding other subs: as far as I'm aware, the developer of the WASP has completely dropped the project out of spite, with no intentions to pick it back up again. something about too many people asking for it, iirc. as for the manta, either development is currently paused, or the modeler is working on updating the model.
Unknown worlds should make subnautica two a prequel of subnautica one where you play as a precursor setting up the bases and the meteor crashes and you see the first outbreak of the disease. It would also be cool if there was huge sparse ocean biomes like even the void for example with ginormous leviathans. Just a thought tho.
anthomnia. at 23:47 you were talking about it having an emp attack and think that why there are nuclear reactors there. well, little did they know and you know, emp can discharge electrical devises and it can weaken plasma energy and can defuse nuclear energy sources. just so you know or they might of added it in there
Is that Architect Sub part of RotA? I don't find any mention of it on their Wiki. You could really use some sourcing for the mods you're showing, even if they aren't finished. I can't find any reference to this sub anywhere, except in this video. Google has failed me.
Want to know what would be cool. A boat 1. Living quarters: 2 on the second floor and 2 on the bottom of the ship. 2. Seamoth/PRAWN dock: A dock on the bottom of the ship for exploration 3. Sea floor sonar: you could have it like modern sea scanning ships with upgrades to increase how deep and how wide or what I could scan 4. A ROV (remote operated vehicle) commonly used in oceanic fields of work they are little robots with cameras that are controlled remotely. They could work like larger camera drones with more range and the ability to interact with the world. 5. Auto fishing system: when the ship is stationary it could catch small fish for food 6. Large floodlights on the roof and bottom of the hull of the ship for visibility. 7. Solar cells: built in solar cells to provide electricity to the ship during the day and at night it would have to stop. 8. Advanced radio and comms systems: You could send and receive signals from other players 9. The upgrades A. Solar efficiency mk1 - mk3 B. Reefback cloaking: Because reefbacks don't get attacked by other leviathans (from what is seems) this would be cool for protection against other lifeforms. This could also be used to hide from other players sonars by appearing as a reefback on there sonar. C. Torpedo bay D. Engine efficiency mk1 - mk3 E. Hull reinforcement F. Radio and comms range mk1 - mk3 G. ROV range mk1 - mk3 H. ROV battery life mk1 - mk3 I. ROV depth mk1 - mk3 J. Scanner range mk1 - mk3 If yall have anymore ideas I would like to here them I'm thinking this boat would be like a cyclops long and 4 seamoth wide and could totally act like a mobile base.
I love that Anthomnia went from just regular gaming youtuber, who started playing subnautica when it first came out, to pretty much an official subnautica news channel, and working with the creators of subnautica lol.
I think the atlas should have a brig that players in the game can vote a annoying or disobedient child who messes up the inventory of the entire ship just to annoy everyone. I also think the ship should have a docking bay on top of the ship because if you remember in the Subnautica below zero we had snow mobiles so to speak, and away to dock them without needing a whole thing would be nice 👍
The atlas looks AMAZING but for the current game (and below 0) I would still take the cyclops, as it is big enough for a mobile base, but small enough for a single player to manage correctly: Drive, do external repairs, fire extinguishers, etc. And most caves are too tight even for the Cyclops, now imagine the atlas, which would actually need a completely NEW map, with massive caves and equally massive LEVIATHANS.
I would prefer the atlas submarines lifepods clamped to the floor rather than floated as if it's blowing up you're going to head to either the seamoth bay or one of the exits so that way you could use it more as a portable mini bass ejector to help quickly set up in an area.
This Atlas Submarine looks like its literally made for multiplayer. Its still huge shame that devs never officially add it into game. I would love to explore 4546B with a friend.
I think the 4 lifepods are too vary, let’s say your atlas is under attack, and you use one, but your atlas doesn’t blow up. You would have 3 left for a trip, and would have to get certain materials to restock the empty life pod holders.
While understandable, I just can’t believe the amount of genuine TERROR that was in your voice at the realization of how the new architect post in the safe shallows was booby trapped. I refuse to believe this wasn’t planted there just for your showcase, but I can wholly assume it will be left in in the official release just to entertain the devs as they watch future playthroughs.
i bet the upstare room which is half dividen and with absolutely nothing would be something like a sleeping quarter or an empty room for us to designe and make it more like a giant moving base (like some people did with the cyclops)
It would be cool if with the live service idea for Subnautica 2 they add new submarines and vehicles as it progresses unlike the other two with their limited vehicles from launch
If the atlas submarine is conformed in subnautica 3, then we can say the map for subnautica 3 is gonna be huge. My reasons for this is because if you take a look at the atlas submarine you can see it’s like 2x bigger that the normal cyclops. Therefore the map would have to be deep and more space for the atlas to go anywhere
Hi everyone I've read a few comments and see alot of confusion regarding the mods, being a regular player and a huge fan here's some information that will hopefully clear the misunderstanding - 1. The Atlas submarine is a independent mod being made again by the original mod designer for the Atlas Minder and it has no connection with the ROTA mod 2.The ion cube generator mod is a old Mod made by FCS it is no longer available on Nexus but can still be downloaded from certain websites. 3.The egg mod was a mod being worked upon by the ROTA team before they started work on the ROTA so it's a work in progress... would be cool if they combined it with the ROTA mod 😁 4.Shark submarine Mod looks part of the ROTA mod and looks awesome can't wait for the final product. 5.The Garg egg is part of the ROTA mod and has to do something with the story won't spoil. Hope this helps and feedback can be given as per the different mod showcased and to the different modders.
Atlas is pretty cool, seems a bit big for base Subnautica though. Be awesome for something like open ocean traveling in a larger world. I'd love to imagine a version of Subnautica where you could travel a large chunk of the planet or whole planet kinda like Minecraft, Star Citizen, or other large scale survival/exploration games. Of course in that sorta scenario I'd prefer it being on a mass multiplayer server. (Maybe around 250-500 or even 1000 players would be nice for a community run server) One idea I always thought would be cool is if you could use the floaters in game to build floating/suspended bases under water or at the surface. Hopefully the next game will be bigger considering Subnautica was pretty successful. Still waiting for Hollow Knight Silksong as well for the same reason. (Hopefully number 3 is more like the first game rather than the 2nd)😅

16:17 Anthomnia tries to explain the inside of the Atlas while gargantuan leviathan attacks a reaper lol
Should be able to dock with or carry any sub in the game.
3:00 ''...and here is my sponsor: RAIDE SHADOW LEGENDSSS''
Man RoTA hype, absolutely speechless with that Architect sub.
I can't wait till the Atlas sub is fully released, it's a maxed out Cyclops that looks like you can customize it pretty heavily
Thank you for the work you do to keep us up to date with the new updates that will follow .
Ok so my ideas of the atlas
One i think the engine should run on ion power cells, two i think that the locker room should be an ejector for time capsules, three the pod ejector should have a tiny submarine like the cricket, four the map should show you're base and the creatures that are there, five an upgrade in the atlas should be that it can make a holagram of anything and also could scare you're friends aswell, six the pods should come with the basic tools, enough food/water, and equipment like a stasis rifle, seven another upgrade could be that like in the cyclops there should be a sheild and for about 10 seconds you could run over anything like leviathans, fish, friends, and maybe the sea dragon but this will burn the engine so you should have a fire exstinguisher just incase, eight the parking should have a charger inside so it charges the vehicle but this would be an upgrade which uses everything a power cell charger uses, nine the aquarium should be able to hold until a certain size of a creature like a seamoth sized one and smaller, ten the screens at the bridge should be were you could activate stelth mode which makes you invisible for a few seconds and also the coloring thing like in the cyclops
Keep in mind the overpowered ones burn up you're engine so watch out
damn do you have a bunch of connections! Like you got content made and revealed FOR YOU, like, how cool is that
The funniest part for me is when all the crash fish appeared at time 2:11 you do have to wait a couple seconds
You can just edit the 2:11 into 2:20 it's better
Yea those crash fishes must have been terrifying
also suggestion for RoTA devs for Atlas - Scanner room can scan up to 1000m w no upgrades , Nuclear Reactor , giant aquarium (for creature observation & other stuff) , Engine boost upgrades like Seamoth , 6-8 Torpedo bays , turret (optional ammo choices ect: Poisonous , Normal , Nerotoxic notice: more expensive then poisonous) , 1 Super-weapon bay (types: Mini Nuke NOTICE: CAN DESTROY THE ATLAS info: the perfect weapon for giant monsters)
"you're to cute to be mad at" that line is so cute
Good to see the project is still being developed! I really cannot wait.
Is it a mod or an actual game the actual Subnautica 2?
This is kind of late but Subnautica 2 is Below Zero this will just be a mod.
i loved it when he freaked out when the boom boom fishy fish (that’s what I call it) just appeared out of nowhere
16:20
Unfathomable horrors beyond human comprehension:
This guy: so anyways heres the newly updated design.
2:18 that´s scarier than a reaper leviathan
The big empty space on the top floor seems like it would be crew quarters, and the 3D map looks like it would be a sort of planning room for crew.
I’ve been waiting so long for another subnautica video! I’m so excited!
Bro I'm getting more and more excited for ROTA. At this rate, I'm gonna be more excited for ROTA than Doors floor 2! (My previous upcoming event)
EDIT: Some suggestions:
Suggestion 1: Some of the creature eggs I noticed, are missing, including the Bleeder, Biter, Blighter, Rockgrub, Shuttlebug, Floater, Amoeboid, and Reefback eggs, so they could be added.
More exited for doors because i hate sponsors in videos they ruin the video and make you wait and there annoying
@@abuchi2248 The what?
@@fry2890 Eh, I just skip through them, and they don't bother me. Anthomnia had the Chadness to get his video sponsored just so that he could get his friend help with his broken PC, so I admire his kindess/compasison.
hiya, dev here.
regarding the creature eggs:
for the Shuttlebug and Reefback, we only reimplemented the existing eggs, which are fully functional and can be spawned in with "spawn jumperegg" and "spawn reefbackegg" respectively.
we decided to make the bleeder, biter, blighter, and rockgrub grabbable by the player, removing the need for an egg. this might have adverse game effects for the hostile fish, but that has yet to be determined. likewise, the floaters can already be picked up by the player, and don't need any intervention on our part.
lastly, the amoeboid isn't exactly a creature, per se, not from a technical standpoint. perhaps we might do something with them if people want to use them as decorations or something, but as it stands they're more like flora than fauna.
regarding the atlas: it's still not certain what purpose the atlas will actually serve, but from a visual design standpoint it wouldn't be the best at underwater combat. the very large glass canopy at the front would not be a good idea for a combat submarine. that isn't to say it can't be one, but there are certainly better vehicle concepts to try that with.
regarding cut content: from what I recall, there might be plans for players to use the old atlas skin as a possible customization option, but we at AotU are really not too fond of the old garg. reminder of an unfortunate time, pretty much. that being said, the same system that is used to give the garg funny youtuber skin themes could also be used to import a skin reminiscent of the old garg.
regarding other subs: as far as I'm aware, the developer of the WASP has completely dropped the project out of spite, with no intentions to pick it back up again. something about too many people asking for it, iirc. as for the manta, either development is currently paused, or the modeler is working on updating the model.
Unknown worlds should make subnautica two a prequel of subnautica one where you play as a precursor setting up the bases and the meteor crashes and you see the first outbreak of the disease. It would also be cool if there was huge sparse ocean biomes like even the void for example with ginormous leviathans. Just a thought tho.
anthomnia. at 23:47 you were talking about it having an emp attack and think that why there are nuclear reactors there. well, little did they know and you know, emp can discharge electrical devises and it can weaken plasma energy and can defuse nuclear energy sources. just so you know or they might of added it in there
You're too cute to be mad at
Gargantuan Leviathan: Pisses him off even further
I would guess that the top layer on the atlas sub might be a crew layer and captain quarter? It is just a wild guess.
“So you can safely get away from whatever might have been able to destroy this submarine”
Gargantuan leviathan: that’s my cue🥰
[Multiple titanic class creatures detected]
i love the '' what are you going to do make a panini?''
I can't wait to get Riley Robinson back for Subnautica!
I think a more foreboding and interesting thing in the bone base would be a cthulu egg
Coth Omoh
I couldn’t stop laughing at this part 😂😂😂😂😂😂 2:18
Egg pun in the first minute of the video, i can already tell its going to be great.
19:50 My guy just got mugged by a Gargantuan Leviathan
Is that Architect Sub part of RotA? I don't find any mention of it on their Wiki. You could really use some sourcing for the mods you're showing, even if they aren't finished. I can't find any reference to this sub anywhere, except in this video. Google has failed me.
Want to know what would be cool. A boat
1. Living quarters: 2 on the second floor and 2 on the bottom of the ship.
2. Seamoth/PRAWN dock: A dock on the bottom of the ship for exploration
3. Sea floor sonar: you could have it like modern sea scanning ships with upgrades to increase how deep and how wide or what I could scan
4. A ROV (remote operated vehicle) commonly used in oceanic fields of work they are little robots with cameras that are controlled remotely. They could work like larger camera drones with more range and the ability to interact with the world.
5. Auto fishing system: when the ship is stationary it could catch small fish for food
6. Large floodlights on the roof and bottom of the hull of the ship for visibility.
7. Solar cells: built in solar cells to provide electricity to the ship during the day and at night it would have to stop.
8. Advanced radio and comms systems:
You could send and receive signals from other players
9. The upgrades
A. Solar efficiency mk1 - mk3
B. Reefback cloaking:
Because reefbacks don't get attacked by other leviathans (from what is seems) this would be cool for protection against other lifeforms. This could also be used to hide from other players sonars by appearing as a reefback on there sonar.
C. Torpedo bay
D. Engine efficiency mk1 - mk3
E. Hull reinforcement
F. Radio and comms range mk1 - mk3
G. ROV range mk1 - mk3
H. ROV battery life mk1 - mk3
I. ROV depth mk1 - mk3
J. Scanner range mk1 - mk3
If yall have anymore ideas I would like to here them I'm thinking this boat would be like a cyclops long and 4 seamoth wide and could totally act like a mobile base.
2:20 I hadn't heard that sound for a while I was genuinely scared
This seems like a dream to rebirth Subnautica.
the new atlas looks like the old lifepod/cyclops in early beta when the game was named "DECEND" so cool
"Your loud go away." *casuly takes leviathan and puts it in his pocket*
I love that Anthomnia went from just regular gaming youtuber, who started playing subnautica when it first came out, to pretty much an official subnautica news channel, and working with the creators of subnautica lol.
I think the atlas should have a brig that players in the game can vote a annoying or disobedient child who messes up the inventory of the entire ship just to annoy everyone. I also think the ship should have a docking bay on top of the ship because if you remember in the Subnautica below zero we had snow mobiles so to speak, and away to dock them without needing a whole thing would be nice 👍
I'm SO happy that the Atlas Submarine is getting in Subnautica and a new design. I can't wait!!
Love the modding community for this game
The atlas looks AMAZING but for the current game (and below 0) I would still take the cyclops, as it is big enough for a mobile base, but small enough for a single player to manage correctly: Drive, do external repairs, fire extinguishers, etc.
And most caves are too tight even for the Cyclops, now imagine the atlas, which would actually need a completely NEW map, with massive caves and equally massive LEVIATHANS.
Havent even watched the video but already know its gonna be a good one
I would prefer the atlas submarines lifepods clamped to the floor rather than floated as if it's blowing up you're going to head to either the seamoth bay or one of the exits so that way you could use it more as a portable mini bass ejector to help quickly set up in an area.
This Atlas Submarine looks like its literally made for multiplayer. Its still huge shame that devs never officially add it into game. I would love to explore 4546B with a friend.
11:04 - 11:11
straight up a trailer material right there
2:20 Fred's daily rutine
Some neat home made mods shame some of these ain't in the real game I think the atlas would be cool in a scrapped biome called the single cell biome
Idea, have them add a tow line so that the atlas can pull your cyclops! I imagine that, the biggest cannon submarine being towed by a bigger one.
It would be cool if you could have either 2 seamoths/prawns in storage docks, OR, a cyclops (which could have either inside, like a nesting doll)
So they're working on the Atlas again? That's awesome!
when the boomers were chasing you and then exploding I was thinking of flak cannons or flak guns going off.
23:29 awwww🥺 GARGY!
I think the 4 lifepods are too vary, let’s say your atlas is under attack, and you use one, but your atlas doesn’t blow up. You would have 3 left for a trip, and would have to get certain materials to restock the empty life pod holders.
Him screaming like that makes my day
I love that he called a race a "Speed contest"
Awsome vid Ant, thank you for getting us entertained❤
While understandable, I just can’t believe the amount of genuine TERROR that was in your voice at the realization of how the new architect post in the safe shallows was booby trapped. I refuse to believe this wasn’t planted there just for your showcase, but I can wholly assume it will be left in in the official release just to entertain the devs as they watch future playthroughs.
10:39 “I donwanna talk about it..” nah really pulled a 7 year old
i bet the upstare room which is half dividen and with absolutely nothing would be something like a sleeping quarter or an empty room for us to designe and make it more like a giant moving base (like some people did with the cyclops)
12:02 retune of the aciant in egg Info =Leaviathen with 8 tentacel on his head
18:04 if I had to guess, that’s going to be your berthing. All the sleeping quarters and base customization there.
This is just my opinion I don’t know if I’m correct
Dont have much faith for a SUbnautica 3 if it ever came
I feel like the atlas submarine instead of releasing Escape pods, should release sea moths instead... and then the cargo bay is for only prawn suits
On the atlas some of the large empty area as it was made for multiplayer was for quarters and private storage.
“Why do we have so much egg-sclusive content?”
He's fighting back against the tyranny of the bloop
Hi everyone I've read a few comments and see alot of confusion regarding the mods, being a regular player and a huge fan here's some information that will hopefully clear the misunderstanding -
1. The Atlas submarine is a independent mod being made again by the original mod designer for the Atlas Minder and it has no connection with the ROTA mod
2.The ion cube generator mod is a old Mod made by FCS it is no longer available on Nexus but can still be downloaded from certain websites.
3.The egg mod was a mod being worked upon by the ROTA team before they started work on the ROTA so it's a work in progress... would be cool if they combined it with the ROTA mod 😁
4.Shark submarine Mod looks part of the ROTA mod and looks awesome can't wait for the final product.
5.The Garg egg is part of the ROTA mod and has to do something with the story won't spoil.
Hope this helps and feedback can be given as per the different mod showcased and to the different modders.
hopefully they make it work together with FCS. they are working on an 2.0 working version, while legacy works fine.
the Atlas looks gool! can't wait for it to come out!
(Maybe around 250-500 or even 1000 players would be nice for a community run server)
One idea I always thought would be cool is if you could use the floaters in game to build floating/suspended bases under water or at the surface.
Hopefully the next game will be bigger considering Subnautica was pretty successful. Still waiting for Hollow Knight Silksong as well for the same reason. (Hopefully number 3 is more like the first game rather than the 2nd)😅
2:20 yo that crash fish jumpscare...
10:19 I don't know what kind of beef you got with that guy, but I respect the determination.
