Experiencing Subnautica Multiplayer is one thing. Modding that further is a whole different beast. I'm actually amazed with only bare bones "alpha" support Subnautica not only functioned in a multiplayer setting BUT ALSO WORKED WITH MODS. We did have to start using commands at certain parts to keep going forward and debug a few things (Invisibility etc) but over all this was one experience with Subnautica that just made me look forward to the next big title though honestly with the quality i see behind Moonbreaker i won't be surprised if we're all wowed into a new set of lungs. Hope you all enjoyed it and how over the top i was, i'm testing new mic settings to remove the clipping i used to have and being loud is the only solution to check if it's working:) If you want to see more multiplayer modded experiences let me know by leaving a like on this video :)
Would love to see if this massive monstrosity could be worked into the story somehow. Would also be more terrifying to be able to get glimpses of it with radar... those tentacles make the garg look skinny
It’s the gargantuan leviathan, which was modded into the game, it is modelled after the gargantuan leviathan skull and rib bones in the lost river from like 5 million years ago, meaning the only way it could be brought into the actual subnautica story would mean there’d have to be a separate story of 4546b around 5 million years ago.
Well ngl they could like just add it into the void and put like a destroy life pod there and say that we have to go down there and get some stuff down there
I would have loved to have seen more of this new leviathan, It was admittedly really hard to see the tentacles at all until I turned up the brightness of the screen

This stuff is reminding of that very early creature/biome concept that Unknown Worlds made for Subnautica during its very early days that would be potentially sensitive to light and if anything that had bright lights came into the area tentacles would start springing up to wrap around whatever had the lights on it and would potentially crush it while dragging it down.
@@ReikasMinecraft That concept NEEDS to return in the next Subnautica alongside many others (Most of them are SO COOL!) and uh, please no Endworm anytime soon.
I never thought I'd see the day. Modded + multiplayer in subnautica. I'm terrified for when my friends try to rope me into doing the same and excited for more.
That is very terrifying. That is scarier than the Gargantuan. Not to say that the Garg was not scary - its absolutely frightening. Seeing a mega mass of flesh at the bottom of the sea bed is almost awestruck. I think there is something that needs to be said when analyzing the stages of fear. There is the Reaper that makes you go, "Nope!" There's the Ghost and Sea Dragon Leviathans that have you yell in panic. Then there is the Garg that straight up makes you crap your pants and run away screaming your head off. This, though? What appears to be so large it lays flat on the bottom of the sea bed - this Kraken? This is so terrifying it leaves me completely speechless. I don't think I could even scream when I see this in front of me - no noise would be able to escape my mouth. It would be very interesting to see a species of fauna that is so large it simply cannot move. It uses it's lengthy tentacles to drag down unsuspecting prey to feast on.
I think with the others is that you can actively see them move and get a scope for what they are

If you read the scan data on the Reaper, the game hints that sonar is a way the Reaper tracks its prey. If you keep pinging your sub's sonar (Cyclops or Seamoth), the Reaper will chase you down. The same kind of hint is given about lights and the bone sharks.

So, apparently the creature is called "Abyssal Terror" and it's actually a Drooping Stingers but recolored and Upscaled, and the devs said that they chose the drooping stingers bc it's planned to be the Leviathan's tongue, so the player is never intended to see the full model
Hey my favourite UA-camr I just found a disturbing place in subnautica I just catch you the voice floor the most deepest thing in subnautica and my game just crash so be careful around the void
This illustrates a point that Subnautica fans had about Sub Zero. To make Subnautica 2 really work in multiplayer, it has to be ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING in order to counteract the unconscious reassurance of having other people around.
