Really beautiful place ❤❤
As a frequent British visitor to France, one of my favourite things about the country is the fact that it’s simultaneously a northern European country and a southern European country (a good way of illustrating this is noting that Dunkirk - 51.03°N - is almost on the same latitude as London - 51.51°N - whilst Perpignan - 42.69°N - is more or less on the same latitude as Rome - 41.90°N), and the food, people, architecture and general lifestyle reflect this fact. There is nothing I like better than getting a ferry to Brittany and Normandy, enjoying the Franco-Celtic green and pleasant scenery for a few days, then hopping on a TGV and 4hrs later I’m soaking up the sun, listening to the electric buzz of the cicadas, and walking among the palm trees of Nice, or Marseille, or Perpignan. The colours change to reflect the predominant skies. Paris, with its resolutely monochrome palette, knows it's a northern town. 250 miles south and you’re in Lyon, a city whose colours resemble a box of ripening peaches and with bleached red roofs reflecting the southern sun. The fact the country also borders 8 other countries makes it endlessly fascinating, as you get that Flemish vibe in Lille, a distinctly Germanic tone in Strasbourg, and that seductive Latin magnetism of Spain and Italy in Bayonne and Nice. Food, people, weather, architecture all distinctly change to a fascinating extent from region to region, city to city, village to village. In many ways, notwithstanding its strong centralism and the prevalent 21st century globalism, France feels like about 3 or 4 countries in one. For all these reasons (and more!), it’s an endlessly captivating place.
Thank you for this ❤ I’m exciting take my first visit next Fall!

Fantastic video of Paris @Hal. Quite the city to visit, is Paris.
I would like to compliment you, Lifestyle Hal, on your different photographic perspective of Paris. Your non-typical cinematic approach made the areas you covered more intriguing. Thank you, I enjoyed it.

Paris is most overrated place in world. I personally would never waste more of my time there. Paris is not even in top 20 in Europe for me. Everyone i know says the same thing... Oh and when someone flys 5,000 miles from Honolulu to NYC that is not considered a visit to the US but when someone walks one mile from Belgium to France it is. That is why France is most visited. Even the locals are "foreign visits".
I love Paris
Paris the city with less green space in europe
Paris, France just confirmed to open for our prompt visiting France. We do thank you all.

Nice.... ......111
Personaly, I would have add sainte chapelle and the natural history museum. But nice list nonetheless
Sainte Chapelle is without a doubt my favorite very place to visit in all of Paris. Before Notre Dame burned it was touted as the top “must see” place to visit. It was such a disappointment to me and my family because it was so dark inside. Sainte Chapelle is the 180 degree opposite with the almost wall to wall stained glass. Even on a cloudy day it’s beautiful, but on a sunny day it defies all description. You just have to be there to understand how incredibly beautiful it is. When friends ask me for suggestions for places to visit in Paris Sainte Chapelle is my #1 recommendation. Those who do visit it always say that it was their favorite place to visit. I like the Musée D’Orsay more than the Louvre. If you easily get claustrophobic (which I do) avoid the Louvre! The Orangerie is a lesser known (among tourists) but also wonderful art museum.
One day i visit in paris
Paris is overated, dont go there, go at Nice for me best french city with Rouen

Paris is beautiful and could listen to your voice for days on end . Thank you Merci
Wow, thank you!
That’s a perfect list and I do respect your way to speak about our history, but for a next video please say about that Paris is not a museum, 12 million inhabitants do live or work there, to our visitors we our very happy of the love that you send to our city but please never forget that city is also a city for 12 millions of citizens. Be welcome to our city
At 11:51 you’ve you’ve either accidentally or intentionally filmed Peter Turnley (although it could be his twin brother David Turnley.) Both award winning documentary photographers. That’s awesome!

Because France and Belgium are two completely different countries. While Hawaii and new york are a part of a country
Yeah and people from French Guiana could fly across the Atlantic to visit paris and it still wouldn't count
Smartest American:
Not the same Paris I used to know.

If you like bed bugs and the smell of urine then Paris is the place to be.
Beautiful but
1.lots of PICK POCKETS
2.DOG POO ON THE SIDE WALKS
3.METRO STATION SMELL PEE.
4. EXPENSIVE....
Paris a hype such a boring and overrated city
so where you recommend?
Yo are right, it is so over priced, the people are rude and near by countries have far more scenic places.
Is Paris as dangerous as we see on social media? Are the French as arrogant as people say?
I have walked 180 miles around Paris criss-crossing and zig-zagging through each of the 20 neighborhoods except 2. I have walked all over each and every park including around and through the biggest one on the western edge. I have gone through all 3 wings of the Louvre top and bottom. So i can confidently say that Paris is THE most overrated disappointing place in the world. Everyone i know says the same thing. Neither i nor anyone i know have any idea why anyone thinks Paris is this great place.
