MSFS - What Happens When You Try to Fly Mach 10 Below 50,000 ft in the Top Gun Maverick Darkstar

Have you ever tried to fly Mach 10 (hypersonic) at a lower altitude? In this video, after reaching Mach 10, I descend trying to maintain my speed. However, the Experimental Darkstar struggles structurally and begins to slow down on its own once the atmosphere becomes thicker. When the tutorial stated "do not fly hypersonic below 80,000 ft", they meant it!

Basically, a car is traveling 160kmph, and it instantly stops to 0, like instantly, you pretty much die, or get thrown off and get blasted by the air striking your body from going mach 10

It's not possible to reach mach 10 with the Darkstar below the right altitude because of the density of the air (more air resistance).

That's your PC acting up mate, just gets very turbulent and slows down extremely quickly on mine, unless you have realism settings to max then obvs, you'll over stress the airframe once you start moving into thicker air.

You can do it with assist off but you won't get over Mach 3 below 50k feet even at Mach 3 the plane is shaking because of air density 50k to 250k is best for max kts you can fly the f18 at mach 7 with the right weather settings 😂 at around 100k feet
