- Опубліковано 31 жов 2019
- Having a reoccurring nightmare is pretty common with most people, but what do your dreams say about you? What is happening while you sleep in your mind? In today's video we are going to interpret your nightmares with the help of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, just to see how crazy you really are. You might find this all to be a bit funny or even a joke, so take it with a grain of salt as we conduct this experiment and see what is up with dreams!

What's the common theme in your dreams?
Do you wake up happy, sad, scared, paranoid...?
I wake up ok if I didn't have any dreams.
When my grandma passed away I would often dream she’s alive and I have to keep it a secret. Eventually the dreams stopped because I confronted her about this, “but didn’t you die”. I had a few more here and there but it wasn’t as often and it’s been a long while now.

Dream analysis is honestly really fun. I analyzed a dream I had before starting grad school, and it was the first time I legitimately felt fear in it. Turned out that the "nightmare" was actually something of a positive foretelling of what is to come permitted that I don't mess it up somehow.

Learn to lucid dream. I love it because I can control myself in a nightmare, and work out a solution to the problems at hand.
I can do that to an extent, cept for me it always feels more like hitting the rewind button and going back to make a few changes, since even sleeping I know I am dreaming. XD
My problem is the nightmares force me to repeatedly reenact the solutions for my problems while in the military. I have accepted the guilt and live with my actions as best as I am able consciously, but I have no defensive rationale for my honest self judgements during sleep.
I've been so obsessed over the wanting to lucid dream that I dream that I become lucid when I'm not actually. I say " I'm in a dream aren't I?" In the dream then I try to fly. But instead of actually flying the way I want to, I float up to the sky really quickly and it's scary.
@@Rain0and0Thunder that's a form of lucid dreaming. I can only control myself, not the environment. But I've heard that controlling the environment is still a thing.

This is one of the scariest dreams I ever had:
I was trapped in a prison cell with nothing inside of it and it was barely bigger than myself. I ate grey mush and I felt terrible. Two police officers with no face grab me out of my cell and lay me down on a table and chained my hands and ankles. I see a row of people sitting in chairs that have unrealistically long frowns. The police officer walks up to me with a needle and everyone smiles and starts laughing at me. They trusted the needle in my arm and I couldn't move. The walls started moving closer to me and everyone laughed harder. My vison was starting to get blurry and I felt super weak, and the police officer stood right in front of my face looking down. They look up at me and they had the same face as mine but I had black eyes, a wide smile, and huge bags under my eyes and they were crying. Then she screams "this is your fault!". Then I woke up and my whole body hurt. I don't know what it means but it was the scariest dream I ever had!
sounds terrifying. have you had this dream again?

Who else has those day dreams where you cant stop doing to the same thing like trying to get somewhere but you get stuck in a hole of some sort.
I remember one time when I was a little kid, I had this ridiculous dream. It went some thing like this: so I was in my bedroom (second floor in a two-story house at the time) which was for some reason in space, and I think a spaceship docked to probably where an upstairs bathroom would be and I was crouched on my bed with some phase-1 clone troopers from Star Wars behind me, and I was going to go out and investigate, one of the clones said “the commander should go first” (which was me(?)) so I took a blanket with me and slowly went to the door, I couldn’t go any faster because my movement was as if there was no gravity (back then if I ever wanted to go at a moderate to fast speed in somewhat negative to bad dreams my movement speed was like that) trying not to wake the yeti zombies from plants versus zombies which were sleeping in pet beds along the wall to my right. As I was getting close to the door, I tossed the blanket on to the last yeti zombie, hoping it wouldn’t wake up, which it did (I’m pretty sure) and the dream ended there as far as I can remember. It’s really ridiculous when I look back on it.
I normally have "dreams" of my worst fears. Heres a list. Getting kidnapped, abandonment, losing someone, stuck "alone" somewhere, school sh00tings, betrayal, and many more.
One night I dreamed about going on a date with my crush, we went to the cinema and had a lot of fun, then I woke up at 4 AM and cried myself back to sleep hoping it would continue from were it left of, the kiss. This dream gave me a lot of courage to ask my crush out but I am still too scared to tell her.
I keep having this dream.
There are five environments. A forest, a brown mountain, a desert, a valley that looks like the grand canyon, and a place I call the Layers, it's in the Valley environment but it's a tall hill of rocks and a giant cave on top. After a few minutes, the world begins to crumble, starting with the first territory, the forest. I always have friends or family members with me, so it's a constant rush to make sure me and my group are safe, and I have many close calls of falling into the endless void, but I've never fallen. However, once we get to the layers, the only safe place from the crumble, there is always a foe there we must try to survive. Two I remember are tiny elves that surrounded and attacked us and a giant who chased us around. Then I wake up. But the last time I had this dream was different. I finally remembered after some time the crumble would begin, so I went ahead of time. I don't remember if I was alone or had members. By the time i got to the desert territory, the forest began to crumble. When I made it to the Layers, this time there was no foe. I, or we if there were others, were safe at last. Then I woke up.
Has anyone else had a realistic dream when literally everything feels real, from touch to taste to smell to hear to vision.
And have you had a dream where a person in a dream felt so unusual and out of your control that it feels like either your in their dream or your somehow having the same dream?
I had a mix of both of those and I don’t know what it means.
Sounds pretty normal to me thats how i have always dreamed
Meanwhile my dreams are completelly meaningless and bizzare. Example:
1. I once had a dream starting from arguing with few strangers about idk what, then suddenly a purple portal appeared out of nowhere, that threw us on some flying in the sky island, turning us into lego people. There was a portal back but it was guarded by gorilla with the head of minecraft villager. After short scene of fight I woke up.
2. I drove a white van at night with illegal imigrants sitting at back part, to police station to take back my router. Meanwhile I was chased by a bunch of police cars and helicopters. While driving to police station, I've randomly stopped to let the imigrants out. They ran away somewhere in the darkness. Then I arrived at police station, took my router, and drove back home no more being chased. And then I woke up.
I feel what you're trying to say I once had a dream I was inside of an empty scary neighborhood and there was nobody there and the houses were lying the perfectly right and then there was the scary mysterious creature to staring at me over time the creature got closer and closer towards me and then I just ran in the house and he chased me and then he just stared at me up the stairs and I punched him in the face and ran towards the bathroom and hid their for the rest of the dream.
I’ve begun to believe that my dreams tell me what may happen in the future.
I can remember most of the dreams that I have, and it is common for me to encounter a situation in my dreams and wake up expecting and remembering what happened in my sleep the night before.
It sounds insane, but I have been able to predict a few events happening in my life based on what happened in said dreams.
Me and some friends, family and loved ones have predicted certain dreams that eventually do play out in real life its very interesting yet spooky sometimes dreams can be like visions of the future
"When my dream is bad"
Me: one eye open when I'm sleeping ONE EYEEEEEEEE
Sometimes I can revisit my dreams if I wake up from one
I finally understand why i had the dreams that i did last night. It's cause i am very scared of doing something wrong infront of people. In my dream everything went wrong. I finally understand now, thanks.
Next to me, on my nightstand is a pen and a notebook. Notebook #3 that is, I find it so interesting to flip through them sometimes and recall their stories -- all nightmares unfortunately.

"In my dreams I see myself surrounded by demons"

I truly believe that when you dream of the dead, it's them visiting. I stopped sleeping in my bed because I constantly dream of my sister that past 5-20-17, and I tend to wake up crying my eyes out, now that I'm on the couch my dreams are way less realistic. Also, I can't sleep unless my thermostat is set at Antarctica and a big fan because I LOVE cuddling with my blanket
I've had dreams in my younger life, & then had them come true 15, and 20 + years later. I only can think of 2 right off hand...but still don't know for sure why they happened.
one time I had this really vivid dream about going skydiving, never even thought about it. A week later my uncle came to town out of nowhere and paid for me to get my skydiving license. Dreams tell you a lot.
The scariest dream I've ever had is the one where I'm being chased by vampires, zombie rats, and vengeful spirits at the same time. I kept running and running, but no matter where I go, they kept chasing me.
Sometimes I know that I’m having a dream but I can’t wake up.
Thanks for this

I have a hunch that some dreams are just memories of your past life-another in a parallel world.I mean i see my self alot of times younger or older in a different decade with the same parents-siblings with a different life course.

Last life is nothing more than a demonic memory
I remember having a dream when I was 5 about being chased by ninja turtles...
(at the time i was obsessed with the show) and they claimed to be my family-
I had a horrible nightmare a couple years ago and didn’t dream of anything for about a year or two after that. And as time went on my dreams increased in frequency.
I don’t really have good dreams anymore. I always wake up distressed. I’m usually not in the dream but the characters that are, are always running or hiding.
I have a certaint amount of control in my dreams and can influence the character I’m possessing. Such as making them run away from clear danger. One time I got semi lucid and left the house I was in. I was walking around the neighborhood and some girl came out of her house with a chainsaw. She didn’t see me yet. I tried to (make the character) run but I couldn’t move/ move fast enough. She saw me. And I stopped trying to run and kinda let her cut me open while I tried to wake up. I did wake up, really distressed.
I can’t really think in my dreams. I can only feel the emotions.
This was a couple months ago. I haven’t though about this in a while but these dreams are getting a bit too much now.
I’m just gonna keep this here
That nightmare a couple years ago had me in it.
The dreams with me and my family in it are always the scariest
I think dreams are not to tell us what to do about a situation, but to prepare us/work through those emotional responses to those situations. At least it is for me. So for example, if I had a dream that my mother was drowning, it is likely because sometime previously I have been thinking and perhaps worrying about her, even if I don’t realize it. The dream is then to work through those feelings and try to find a resolution, but more in an emotional sense. So accepting the inevitable and enjoying the time I have with my mother, or accepting that she is an adult etc etc, for waking up late, again simple as just how do I resolve this situation. For me, my feelings while I’m dreaming always reflect my emotions in real life towards a particular subject
Some people have nightmares after witnessing me

I started having dreams while I was "awake" about 30yrs ago...(it just started happening one day.
It was so strange that I remember the first time it happened and where I was.
These "dreams" when they happen is like hitting a brick wall...they are very sudden.
They literally only last few seconds, but a very vivid.
I can still function when this happens,I don't loose consciousness or anything...

My dreams have a recurrent few themes.
1. Running from home invasion danger & escaping out if a window.
2. Reliving childhood situations such as still living at home with my parents.
Lord knows on the first. But I fear death & aging of myself & loved ones which I am sure is the trigger for the latter. Desire to rewind time. But since that's not possible, I wake from these dreams in depression. 😢
Well 1. is probably a result of your fear of aging and death also (in the form of a burglar, of course) and your brain’s solution to escape from these things is to jump out of a window.
