    In Java they call it pisang kepok (kepok banana). They eat them raw, cover them in flour and fry in boiled oil, or roast them and eat them with cheese.

    • @WhatPlantisthatPaul

      That sounds wonderful! Do they fry them when still greenish blue?

    • @arwahsapi

      Greenish blue is too raw. Mostly when they start to get yellowish green.

Because there is still to much of a mindset that, if you say something like that, that you are not friendly, you will hurt others feeling, but it is not. It is just a start up for a better comunication and consent.

    I didn't hear the answer to the question does it really taste like ice cream??

    • @WhatPlantisthatPaul
      @WhatPlantisthatPaul  2 роки тому

      Yes, like vanilla ice cream when the fruit is totally ripe. When blue, they are starchy and are often fried in oil.

      Some are, but the bananas are very blue when young. Some people fry them up in oil when they are still blue, but they are not sweet until they are ripe and yellow.

  • @AnasSuhaimi
    @AnasSuhaimi 3 роки тому +1

    0:30 You should get a parang or machette. It's made for this kind of work
    Mexican machette is too long.
    Bear Grylls parang is too short.
    The traditional Parang (Sarawakian or Kelantanese style) is good.
