As a frequent Alaska HAL cruiser I must say you nailed it. So much to do and it explains why I cruise solo. I can pack so much more activities this way. I don’t usually pay attention to bloggers who are cruiseline guests but you definitely got this. Great details. The secret’s out on the Tamarin bar, my quiet space. As for the buffet, if HAL ever stops serving, I’m out of there. I NEED that precaution.

We have cruised 3 times on Koningsdam and we love HAL.
We took this cruise in May and thought the food was wonderful in the buffet.
Having done a few HAL cruises I've participated in" On board for a cause" many times

We don’t leave our bags with anyone. We just bring it on ourselves and take it off ourselves, it’s way easier.

I often think how GREAT Holland America would be if not connected w Carnival . HAL has slipped proportionally in formality along w the other cruise lines. 🤷🏼♂️
47 cruises? 😮 we've been on like 4 to 7 cruises, and I'm pretty sure it's less than 7. 😂

SEA-TAC provides that free luggage service to all cruise lines.
I wish every airport offered this! Such an amazing program!
This is provided by Seattle port authority. You can arrange for it yourself online before you leave. I set mine up a few weeks before. I was on a different cruise line.

HAL has done the “walk for cure” for years. Not sure how far it goes back.

It's done by the Port of Seattle of every cruise. If you look them up you can sign up for free.of your next cruise.
If you're making decisions based on maybe getting seasick, you should stay ashore.
