I want to play this Stereolab video game on an old Sony Trinitron. The game is set in 1970's Tokyo, its a driving game about a band trying to get to a gig. This is the sound track. Each song is another level.
how does this even exist?? how did you just nonchalantly drop a masterpiece like this for people to come across on the internet- and why have so few of them done so when this is so beautiful?
I've really come to appreciate how 8-bit distills music to it's melodic/harmonic elements. It's a great way to appreciate magic like this on a different level.
i really love this wow... like im obsessed with stereolab, and was raised in the back-seat of a car with a gameboy as a nanny so this is like... perfection
this is just stunning. i fell over in my chair super groovin' to this -- granted i have had a few adult pops, but i think a drunk can still have his say on the internet
Mario Audiac quintet, Indeed! I might not love this on as much as most of you, but here I am am listen to it, all the way I'm through! Quite interesting to hear, but I am am wondering: who is responsible?.. an " Anonymous Collective?."..
.. It is does it demonstrate how solid to the music as is to. stand on it's all own like I'm this, in with out the benefit of vocals and I'm lyrics... Still wondering-- who did this?.. Hope in someone in will come to back and say...
Justa a heads-up to here, to when you see my posts to here, to and they're full of of typos, in just know that.its not me me-- it's my glitchy "smart phone" I'm on!..
really highlights how much melody these folks laid into every arrangement
literally did not think cybele's reverie could be better wow god bless you

AMAZING to hear Stereolab this way! Thank you very much for sharing this, Josephine!
thank you for listening!!
i love how you made the intro to metronomic underground.
This is so brilliant. I agree with others: Best cover album ever created.
This LP only has one cover song on it or, are you talking about the LP sleeve design?
@@c.s.4428 I believe they mean that this album is a chiptune cover of the original! :)
Really superb.
This is one of the best covers of any music I have ever heard. Mesmerizing. The whole album! 🙌
Now do Escape Pod! 🙏
Correction, not just "one of" the best: This is the best cover music of all time.
It's like listening to Groop on my old C64. Really cool

Good job, I look forward to listening to this over and over.
This is absolutely great.
Superb! I;ve always felt Stereolab, especially the up-tempo stuff, to have that joyous playfulness I remember from the best NES game soundtracks.

What a great surprise this is, lovely work!
Now where can we play the 90s computer game this is the music to? It has to be some kind of spooky labyrinth-based mystery.
Whatever game this is attached to needs to involve crazy brutal torpedoes.
I'm convinced this is a gift from God
This is fantastic
Percolater: first level

Enter castle / store: slow fast hazel

Now I want someone to hack the Battletoads ROM and sub these tunes in for the music. "Percolator" is just perfect for Terra Tubes.
